How come we can't disable notifications on specific status updates?

So. We can unfollow interest checks. We can unfollow roleplays. We can unfollow anything else pretty much-- with the exception of PMs, which we can leave.


So how come we can't unfollow status updates? I personally dislike getting replies to status updates more than 30 to 36 hours after the update. What I dislike more? Commenting on a status update that later blows up. Then everybody gets in an argument of


"Stop replying!" "No, you stop replying!" "No, you stop!" "EVERYBODY STOP"


And it's just...it would make sense. To be able to unfollow specific updates. Don't you think?

I got nothin', sorry . :/   We have rather a long list of bugs (many of which we have to pester the software devs about) and we're getting them fixed as fast as we can, while trying to work in improvements like this, so it all takes time.
