Fantasy House of Kitsune

Still going with older man idea I had.

Mine's gonna be a cute little innocent character~ (Because admit it, with a war going onion the rp we all want some of dat' sweet little adorableness to lighten up the moments~) "Ane-sama~…. Why is dere' people fighting?~…." *tugs at shirt innocently and gives big puppy eyes* XD Lol~ (My characters not really gonna be like- whatever that strange thing I just did was, don't worry.)

Ah, that kind of character. The type you'd want to huggle/protect from everything bad.

...pffft

spellcheck is as OP as always.

Tbh, my character has a weird and kind of confusing way of speaking to the point where I have to think quite a bit before typing out what they're going to say. QvQ

ONIONS~

By the way, while I am studying for finals (they end on the 13th for me) and not doing this roleplay, does anyone want to claim the fox spirit who gets real close to the king? It'll be a female character, Inari, and fairly powerful.

I guess I should elaborate more on my idea I suppous.

Older kitsune, Strong and stable as the mountain he roams. He shall love man and their works like no other, but shall not steal them, for that would be...

Rude.

As such he uses his mountain's wealth of metals to his advantage in such matters. Money makes the world go 'round no? Besides, what good is his power if he does not use it to further his own gain? And those metals do naught if stuck there, sooner or later a human would just come digging.

Best he reap the rewards, for it is his mountain.

Might find him mostly in a human form due to his rather human lifestyle, but never forget, within the man is a fox, and the fox is never a man.

Will add some more history, some sillyness, later on. He would dread this war truthfully, in peace people took up the arms to make his favored arts, but now naught but blade and spear rest in their hands.

A strange thing, wanting war to be done and gone only because you wish to have more art made.

From what I've read, I personally feel like the fox spirit who gets close to the king feels more like an NPC-type character who doesn't appear as often as the main characters being played by the members of the roleplay?

This still means that she'll need someone to write out her part, but I just thought I'd bring that up. >w>;

From my perspective we can go two ways: we can either choose to use NPCs for the kings and royal Inari, and possibly the owners of the House of Kitsune. OR we can have all those be played by actual people. As for those who don't choose vital already-instated roles, I'm guessing what you do is entirely up to you.

A little notif: when making a character, you will give them a title so to speak. It should be a descriptive word then the type of fox spirit. Ex) An Elegant Myobu, The Lone Nogitsune, A Flirty Kumiho, A Cute Myobu

Note to self: include housing, if your fox practices magic (if so, choose one of the 13 types), if your fox has a power sphere/spirit orb, # of tails, fur and eye color, if your fox possesses more spiritual power or intellectual wisdom, some kind of indication of class/rank (even low/middle/high is fine, other distinctions such as peasant/celestial/noble/worker/mischievious thief work as well)

Foxes over 200 can access a dimensional pocket. They gain the ability to alter space in this specific way after 2 centuries. Foxes can have their own dimensional pocket and they can retrieve items out of it as if conjuring it from nowhere. Dimensional pockets are essentially limitless but the more you store in there, the more power it will take to store it. Also, depending on age, there is a size limit. (Go by common sense and reason for this, a 250 year old fox cannot stuff an entire couch into his dimensional pocket, but an 800 year old fox probably can.)

Since foxes cannot alter history, we will assume that tensions between the two kingdoms would have resulted in war anyway. The foxes merely push them into war earlier. Remember: you cannot directly harm a human. You can, however, trick them, bribe them with gifts that are really trash, and set their houses on fire.

Sure thing bruh. Feel free to light some (fictional) houses on fire.

i am gonna be the absolute angriest kitsune

so many fires

Perhaps not so many fires... after all, pyromania can't be your driving instinct... unless your character is going to be a pyromaniac fox? That might get interesting. But please actually have a reason to light fires in peoples' houses, kay? Otherwise you'll be kicked out.

Also, can I expect you to give detailed responses, maybe 2+ paragraphs?

Go back and read the intro post! It's all in there. Specifically, there are 3 cultures we are working with. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and they have slightly different distinctions.

Oh, sorry~ Hehe, these side-effects are kinda getting to me~ XD Sorry!!

I've gotten the general premise fleshed out and written down. Now my question is: who is still interested and can be committed to this roleplay? You can give me a number from 1-5 (1 as only a little interest, probably cannot stay long-term, to 5 which is definitely committed, will stay as long as this runs). If you are no longer interested, give me a 0.

I suggest you answer within a week so I know you're still alive. After all, it's my minimum expectation for posting: at least one post per week (preferably long responses).

1+3.

I might not actually be able to join right away. I am interested, I just have several sheets to do and things to do with my FT RP that kinda happened all at once.

It depends honestly. I am normally a 5 with every roleplay I join.

So I will claim 5. But my opinion can sway depending on how the roleplay itself goes. If its full of players I dont like and feels like its a RP with a story that is going nowhere then that will drop to a 3 real quick.

I suppose it just means....as long as you the creator, give me your 100, I will always give it back.
