I just a question for clarification. It's stated in the first post that only nine-tailed foxes have white/gold fur (unless I'm reading something wrong). However, Inari's foxes have white fur when not all have nine tails. Which one is this RP going by? @x@

Good question. 


Main way to spot a ninetailed fox over an Inari is likely the golden aura/fur and the huge mess of tails. So the white part doesn't seem as important really. 


Just a side effect in truth, if you are faced with a nine tailed fox, there'd be no misstaking it. 


That's how I see it anyways.

I don't see where it says ONLY 9tails have white/gold fur. But I elect to make foxes with monochrome pelts turn silvery white and other colors turn gold. They also have a glowy aura as mentioned above and the obvious 9 tails. What are you all's opinions?

Ah, whoops. I took "When a kitsune gains its 9th tail, its fur becomes gold or white." as referring to that white and gold is not natural. I'm all good for the correlation between the color changes. ovob

As for the character I'm planning out, well, I want to bring back an old kitsune character I had. Eight-tailed, calm, cool, collected, acts as that 'big sister' type of girl. Has a serious problem when it comes to looking out for herself so she usually finds herself hiding all her problems and hiding it all under a smile.
