humans all up in a "what the hell is going on."


yokai are all like "Yo wut up."


Yomi are all "I'LL EAT YOUR DAMN SOULS!"

I can get behind some of these ideas but lets not forget they are just as sentient as human beings. 


Rules were, in a way, meant to be broken. As it is, I dont see any kitsune enforcing them as they should be. If they did that would mean they would have some form of civilization which would mean they are far more influential then simply "toying" with humans. 


The older foxes also wouldn't or at least shouldn't bat much of an eye at mankind. Whats a human that lives 60-70 years to a 400 year old fox spirit? 


Not to discredit humans either mind you. United they can obliterate anyone. 


There are many directions you could go with this. Especially since you have fused multiple cultures together. It wouldn't be a surprise for infighting between the foxes and that might possibly lead to exposure to mankind.


We got plenty of things to work with. And if the RP gets enough of a following then its possible we could even work in multiple plotlines

@Orikanyo @AI10100 How do you all feel if we limited to 5-6 players max? I don't want there to be too many characters, which means more people and plot to keep track of and more confusion. I'm already in a bunch of other (not very active) roleplays.

5-6 players? hm, a role play with this concept would better suit 7-8 in my personal opinion, or possibly even ten? depends on the final plot and how you want things to play out I guess.


I know it sounds a little cliche but what if this kitsune who had 'seduced' the king were to have once loved him (Forbidden love) when they were younger and the man was simply a boy, watching him from a distance and even interacting in human disguise, but somehow having her heart broken and later choosing to take revenge? not caring for the rules laid down anymore, giving her motivation for her actions and in the corruption of her heart she grew angry for power?~


Also! Interesting concept would be the thought of Kitsune consuming human liver, maybe this rumour was spread during the beginning of their discovery? to give humans motivation for hunting them down, seeing them as beasts, after all. It has been shown time and time again that humans fear that of which they don't understand, and a creature that looks so similar to them and yet so different would certainly be a fright, something they perceive as having the power to overtake them even if it was never the creature intention to do so. Unrightfully accused? confusions and misunderstandings causing and bringing about war?


What time would this be taking place? before the war? at the start? a little after? a while after?~ (as in the events, not the time period~) @Nyctophiliac (I can invite 3-5 or so people I think might be interested in this if you want?~ :3)

My take is that the more players you get, the more you get people who make one or two posts but aren't very involved. Then they eventually drop. Not sure what your experience with large group roleplays has been? If you don't mind sharing, that would be a great source of info.

Hm~ Well, that's why I was stating keeping it small still, not massive (Once you get over 15 chaos emerges~) But a number under double digits or just settling on it seems to suit the plot of this role-play. I'm fairly experienced in group role-plays despite not making 'too' many myself~ I've seen frequently that it really relies on the decision of the GM in contrast with the plot.

Yah, hm~ I agree, being hunted is probably the easiest, that and after time any species is gonna get tired of following such a strict set of rules, especially a species that can live for centuries, surely the younger ones would already be rather easy to influence. Also the kitsune hunting seems to be a fairly strong idea.

Hm, I think the tail Idea is good, because then the colour of the fur could also come into play (E.g. Gold/white fur for the more wise and probably perceived as 'valuable' Kitsune)

were not going to be getting 8, we'll be good with 4 who actually stick around, discounting the gm. 


8 and we have flood, nobody seems important and thigns get scrambled and worthless as people get secluded and left alone. 


2 company, threes a crowd. at most 5 would be good but biting off more then one can chew will straight up make this flop faster then anything in this world. All you need is people to actually stick around, become friends and thats what draws them back.


You could have 16 bloody members, but not 1 wants to post.

Yep it's you. A roleplay abit before the whole upturn of the site, I played essentually a Bara with a high poison tolerance and a big ass hammer. 


Can't go wrong with bishies mind, but I'm more of a big strong handsome gentleman type...
