The harvest moon rose o’er the hill
One fair October night
The stars all marveled as he rose
He was so wondrous bright
With one accord they called to him
Across the evening sky–
“Oh, moon, your joyous bright to-night!
Tell us the reason why.”
“Oh, little children of the sky,”
Most sweetly answered he,
“There’s every reason in the world
For all the joy in me.
The golden corn is gathered in;
Earth’s harvests are complete;
The juices of a thousand fruits
Are flowing fast and sweet,
The giving earth has given well,
Her goodness does not cease,
Abundant is the harvest with
Good promises of peace.
These, and a hundred reasons more,
Make me so brightly shine;
And so Tatterdemalion
Completes this joy of mine.”

October 31st, 2007. A group of four have discovered rumors of a ritual akin to other online variations, like the Elevator Game or the 11 Miles. The ritual involves a defunct card game, Tatterdemalion, born of an abandoned card production studio from the early 80s. Luckily, an old digital version was made for home computers, and a tech forum created a hacked client so that players could play online. It's said that if one were to play the game on Halloween and complete a small ritual, one has the chance to visit another world. Whether it's for scientific purposes, content, or good fun, the group goes through with it, unknowingly enacting an ancient ritual.

Bogie Book (the name coming from the creature and not the booger), and is a homestuck-styled story/session. It'll consist of myself, the Game Master, narrating the actions of the four Players, you guys. There will be differing variations on concepts and names from the source material, though the functions of a Player's Mythos (domain, destiny, dreams) will still be determined by me.
I am looking for four players for this. Phenotypes will not be enforced, though if you as a group would like to use them, then feel free to. Players must post at least once a week, and with an average or higher quality post using second person, as per Homestuck's writing convention.
The tone of this story may vary; I don't think it will be overtly heavy, but it won't be incredibly comedic either.
