Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to Hollywood U!
The Hollywood University of Cinematography and Liberal Arts, otherwise known as Hollywood U, is a prestigious Arts college located in – you guessed it! – Hollywood. Anyone who’s someone went to Hollywood U and anyone who wants to be someone is going there now. However, life at Hollywood U isn’t all peaches and cream. Around every corner are catty professors, mysterious saboteurs, and drama at the drop of a hat. In this industry, you have to claw your way to the top and some people are far more willing to do so than others. Fame and fortune are just within your grasp if you can pull the right strings and wine and dine the big names. Most importantly, enjoy your college life! You can’t ever get these years back. Good luck!
- Rules
-
You can play a student, professor, or celebrity, canon or OC. I'll really pretty lenient with what types of characters are "acceptable" in a roleplay as long as they fit the situation. Your character can be a total bitch or the kindest, most generous person on the planet so long as they have flaws and respond realistically to situations.
I reserve the right to replace or remove anyone participating in the roleplay. Depending on the offense, you may be given a warning or two before being kicked out or you may be kicked out immediately. Feel free to inform me about any issues you have about these rules or you may have with group members during the roleplay.
No god-moding/Mary Sues/Etc
This is just a basic rule you should always follow. Make your characters realistic, realistic characters have flaws.
Proper grammar is a must
English doesn't have to be your first language but you must understand how to write it. A few mistakes every now and then are okay but if you write in "txt talk" or just have terrible grammar, you will not be accepted into the roleplay. This is absolutely nonnegotiable.
A minimum of one response per every two days
This requirement may be negotiated on certain circumstances but it's important to be online often to help move the plot along
A minimum of one paragraph per response
A paragraph in this case is defined as at least six lines of solid content
Being rude out of character is unacceptable
Your partners are your friends. You should bond over the RP, not bicker and argue. In character, there are no restrictions as long as your character has good reason.
Be original
Don't be afraid to stray from the norm. A diverse cast is far more realistic!
