"Well I was going to leave you be if there wasn't a guy sitting in the girls dorm room." Darrel told him, emphasizing the last part.


"Just seemed a little off you know." She continued with a hint of sarcasm, turning away to pace around the doorway. "Not something you'd expect to see."


She shrugged dismissively. As she turned back to Lucas, Darrel thought she caught him staring. Some other time she might dwell on the thought but the infuriatingly loud drumming from the redhead was drowning out her thoughts. With a huff of annoyance she spoke over the drumming.


"Are you ladies and gentlemen aware of the many facilities this school has to offer dedicated to music practice? I'm also quite sure the girls dorm room is not one of said facilities."

Ally's humming got louder as the tapping of Danni's drumsticks got to her. She then began to softly singing until she finally fully let go and began singing at an audible volume. "So fill to me the parting glass, and drink to health and whate'er befalls. I'll gently rise and softly call, goodnight and joy be with you all. Goodnight and joy be with you all." she held the last note as long as she could before fading out. At that point she had completely drowned out everything around her, only focused on the music. She could hear the song in her mind, how it should sound and was comparing it to her own voice. In her own mind she wasn't in a dorm room singing in front of a few people, she was in the fields of Ireland alone. She could see herself in a Sound of Music like scene, a thought which made her smile. She finally opened her eyes and realized she wasn't where she was in her mind, causing her to shrink down again. @Vicander

Lucas' mind searched for the rules pertaining to the dorm rooms. No televisions. No microwaves. Micro-fridges acceptable. If one must hang up a poster, they have to use adhesive tape, not nails. Because it was high school, the curfew was 10:00pm. Everyone had to return their own dorms by that time. People of the opposite sex were not allowed in each others rooms, but no one actually followed that rule. Lucas frowned at the girl, "We weren't doing anything, just talking up a storm about our new band." Nothing promiscuous was taking place, so he figured they were okay.

"If you don't like it you can fuck off," Danni snarled, before pausing for a moment. She wasn't used to be so harsh. In fact, she'd never uttered something so cruel before. She wondered where it had come from but she didn't question why. She began to drum louder, even over Lucas, hoping to annoy the girl. She started banging a beat against the baseboard of her bed, stretching out on it to reach and hitting the wall every now and then to change it up. She glared at the girl, as if daring her to take Danni's music away, something she knew the stupid girl couldn't do. @Vicander @The Awakened Moon @PenguinFox

As Lucas explained how they were only discussing their band, Darrel started to slowly shuffle towards the doorway. Nothing was wrong, really. She made a mental note not to be so nosy or she might end up in a situation like this again. It was quite obvious already Darrel was not wanted here, but she was very much taken back by the redhead's blatant statement. The last time someone had told her to 'fuck off' was because she punched their sister and possibly broke her nose. The redhead started drumming again and making a racket in general as Darrel's surprised expression turned into one of anger. She resisted the urge to walk up to the redhead, grab her by the collar and tell her she couldn't talk to her like that. Darrel realized if she could just apologize sincerely and leave quietly then a grudge could possibly be avoided. But throwing in the F-bomb with such animosity was a tad too much.


"Will do darlin'." She said loudly, but still wasn't sure if the redhead could hear her. As petty as it may seem, Darrel didn't want redhead to have the last word and so gave her the finger while backing out the door.


"Have fun kiddos" She told them before marching down the hall to her door.

Arianna continued to play with the keys on the piano, only listening to the conversation Lucas was having with Darrel about the band. She suddenly heard the harsh remark Danni made to Darrel, causing her to stop moving her fingers on the keys and to look up curiously. She glanced over at Danni then her eyes moved to Darrel. Arianna saw the middle finger Darrel presented then bit her lip, not sure what to do exactly at the moment. "Well...that was lovely, wasn't it?" Arianna finally said sarcastically after a minute. She made a futile attempt to lift off some of the tension in the air. She glanced between Danni and Ally before looking at Lucas. "You guys alright?" she questioned, the question mostly directed toward the girls since they seemed the most disturbed by Darrel's entrance.

After looking at Arianna, Lucas decided to address the situation.


"Enough!" Lucas reached over and grabbed Danni's wrists, pulling the drumsticks away from her, before sitting back on her bed. "Danni, you can't be so hotheaded. Look at you, already making enemies on the first day of school." He hid the noisemakers behind his back. There was no way he was going to let her drum over them again. The girl who had barged in was a senior, which meant she knew the ropes of the school. They had gotten very close from receiving referrals. "Listen, guys. We can't just make music, we need to have a good rep. With Summer Strawberry over here raging with her sticks and big mouth, we'll only make enemies." Lucas looked Ari, eyebrows raised in annoyance.

"Give them back!" Danni whined, tackling Lucas to the ground and struggling to grab hold of her drumsticks. "She started it anyways! This is mine and Ally's dorm!" Danni huffed as she reached for them. "So help me, Malik, I will chew your arm off if you don't give my drum sticks back," she snarled, and although there was anger in her tone, it was obviously covered up by panic and fear. These drumsticks were specially made for her. Her mother had called in the order for them and had them custom designed. She couldn't lose them to some boy she had just met. @Vicander @The Awakened Moon @PenguinFox

Arianna sighed as she went over to Lucas and Danni on the ground, bending down to swiftly take the drumsticks from Lucas's hands. "Here" she said to Danni, handing them to her. The only reason she gave them back was so that Danni wouldn't cause anymore of a commotion with Lucas. "The both of you need to stop acting like children" she told them both, trying to be stern but she was also teasing them. Arianna could never be taken seriously since she found most things to be humorous. "It's like Ally and I are the only real mature ones in this band." Arianna sat on the edge of the bed where Lucas had been before Danni tackled him to the ground. "As Lucas was saying, we do need to have a good rep. Making enemies will give us a bad name and word might spread to the other students" she stated. "So let's all try to keep our cool, okay?" Arianna looked around at everyone, but mostly at Danni since she was the one that dropped the f-bomb at Darrel.

Lucas grunted in surprise as he was taken to the floor, clutching the drumsticks and holding them out of her reach. "What the fu-" he was cut off when he felt them slip out of his fingers, and he saw Arianna standing above him. When she returned them to Danni, he looked at her and huffed, pushing his palm into her forehead. "Get off of me, Strawberry," he said, climbing out from underneath her. "Damn Ari, way to support your friend." He was being facetious of course; Lucas could never actually be mad at his friend. He sat down next to her, listening politely.


"She's talking to you, Danni boy."

Ally had shrunk down as small as she could while everyone seemed to be arguing. When the loud intruder left she finally regained some of her courage and sat up straight. When Ari took the sticks and returned them she stood up and looked at the group. "A fháil a shealbhú de díbh féin!" she yelled before clearing her throat to speak normally. "She's right. We need to have a good reputation and we have to keep our heads." she said looking to Danni. "But we also cannot argue among ourselves. Some of the greatest bands broke up because they couldn't get along. Oasis, Blink, Guns and Roses. What does it mean for us if we can't even get along now? We have to respect each other." she said looking at Lucas. "This is never going to work if we can't be responsible, and I'd like to think we all want it to work....right?" she asked a hint of worry in her voice that they might say no. @Vicander @The Awakened Moon @Garnet

Danni took a deep breath, slipping her drum sticks into her back pocket. "Okay, okay, I overreacted, I admit that. It just bugs me when people talk like that, you know? This is a school for the arts. You don't see me walking into a stranger's dorm and calling them out. It's not right and I'm slightly offended that everyone's looking at me like I'm the bad guy?" She rose an eyebrow but shrugged it off. "Anyways, we still need a band name and in the spirit of Ally's words, which are so true, I'm even going to allow Malik to have input on this," she chuckled, smiling down at the boy she had tackled before sitting back on her bed, slipping her drum sticks out of her pocket so they wouldn't break. @Vicander @PenguinFox @The Awakened Moon

"Right" Arianna responded to Ally. "And I believe I say that for everyone here. It would really suck if our band broke up before we could even make some music." A small pout formed on Ari's lips as she thought about it for a moment then she turned her head to look at Danni. "You aren't the bad guy, Danni. It's just...Darrel is a senior and she might tell people about this." Ari eventually shrugged it off also, her mind redirecting to the reoccurring subject of finding the band name. "So is the whole acronym idea for our band name out the window?" she asked curiously, remembering when Lucas was brainstorming by rearranging everyone's initials. She wanted to know what the others thought of that. "Because if so, we're agreeing to name our band after a constellation, right?"

Ally sat down on the edge of the bed delicately and thought for a moment. "Well I can't think of anything we could do with our initials, but that doesn't mean that's out the window. I think Aquila would be the best constellation. It is both beautiful and graceful." she looked at Lucas. "But it is not 'girly'" she used air quotes. Knowing that someone was bound to ask she spoke up to get it out of the way. "Aquila is Latin for Eagle. It is the bird that carried Zeus's thunderbolts." @Vicander @The Awakened Moon

"It also sounds like Tequila, which is great by the way," Danni chuckled before growing serious and really thinking about the name. "I like it," she said finally. "It's got a nice ring to it and it's powerful. Eagles are such beautiful birds. What do you guys think?" She turned to Ari and Lucas, any trace of her past anger completely gone. It was as if she had made a transformation in a couple seconds. She grabbed for lyric journal, writing the name down on the front page, looking at it for a second. "It looks nice too, for branding purposes," she added. She already had a few marketing ideas despite the fact that wasn't her main thing. @Vicander @PenguinFox @The Awakened Moon

Upon her whole introduction to the new school, Leah still quite felt like an ant in the middle of a football pitch. She has still yet to learn on how things work and to top that off she needed to see how she can fit in. She had still made no contact with anyone else besides superior and that was kind of nerving her as she never quite rolled without some form of company but alas she had to be patient, no one is simply going to pop out of nowhere. With that being said she roamed the halls to see if she can find a hint of where the classrooms, cafeteria and such where and most importantly where the dorms where cause she still had all her belongings with her, hulling her suitcase throughout the corridors. The expression of confusion and utter lost was pasted on Leah's face at this point. Clutching her bag in her hand her eyes darting on the walls for some sort of sign but she huffed and sighed.

Aiden Gray:


Ever since the introductory speech by the principal till now, the sophomore haven't quite given the opportunity to converse with anyone. He wasn't one to communicate with other beings but he was determined to do so in his well... awkward and his so called humorous self but he himself wants to see the failure that will be brought up if he attempted. Nonetheless his position was always in the background and wasn't quite the person to be in the spotlight and it would be quite surprising if someone notices him or even says hello. But from this point on her made it a thing that he will actually attempt to continue a conversation and get himself some acquaintances. The male was sitting in a corner of the cafeteria, scrolling through his camera, deleting in order to relief some space on his camera, an object which is his most priced possession and is basically lost if he didn't have it with him.

Once her theory class had finished, Amelia packed up her stuff and made her way out of the class room. She checks her schedule, seeing that she had a bit of free time until her next class. Walking the halls, she was still getting quite a few stares but she assumed it was because she was doubling her guitar case as a back pack. She was looking for a quiet place to practice. I wonder if they have practice rooms.. She wondered. She wasn't exactly paying too much attention to where she was going. She was merely wandering aimlessly through this palace of a school. Turning back to face forward, she notices that she is about to slam face first into someone. Instantly, she stops walking, only to fall backwards, landing on her butt. Amelia looks up at whom she was about to hit. "Oh hi.." She says, a nervous laugh escapes her lips. Getting herself back up, she faces the girl in front of her. "Sorry, I almost walked right into you.." She adjusts her beanie while speaking. What a way to make friends.. She thinks.

Arianna nodded her head in approval of the name that Ally suggested. "Aquila..." she repeated softly to herself, wanting to see how it sounded. "I like it. It reminds me of Tequila too, but it also sounds badass" Arianna smirked. She didn't really care what kind of name the band had, as long as it sounded badass. "So the three of us are in favor of Aquila, correct? What do you think, Lucas?" she asked her friend. "Oh! And if you guys want, I know a guy that knows a guy who can help us with designing our band logo" Arianna pointed out excitedly. "He could hook us up and make the logo look all cool and stuff." She was also well known outside of the high school too. Arianna had already made a few good connections with people especially since she needed them for after high school.

Leah Le Blanche:


As she was hopelessly trying to find her way around she was about to head on until she almost collided with another being about to slam into her which was not something she anticipated for a first encounter. In less of fraction of a second she saw a girl stampeding back landing on her rear, she tried not to crack a chuckle as to show respect but she couldn't help but smile at her clumsiness. Leah offered a hand just in case she needed one to get herself up and concern showed on her face "Well hi there, you okay? I noticed...that was some fall" a grin was spread across Leah's lips after she spoke. The girl had a very evident foreign English accent , some say a French-English accent.

"Oh, I'm fine, thanks" She says. "You sound really proper." Amelia, was an awkward child, but she has a big heart. "That didn't come out right.. I meant to say, I like your accent." She corrects herself. Seeing the girl grin made her grin as well. Not even she could deny that the fall was pretty funny. "Are you new here?" She asks.

Leah had to admit that the girl's awkwardness was making her laugh, in a good way however. "I get that a lot actually... My accent is something I don't frankly like to be honest but nonetheless thanks". However seeing that she was with a suitcase in the middle of a hall would hopefully answer Amelia's question but she answered "Well yeah I am... and I feel as if I'm a blind chicken running around... I am not accustomed to such large areas. Do you know your way round here by any chance?". She could see that the girl was looking for something and figured or at least hoped she just only didn't know one thing not that she waas new... she really needed someone to show her around.

"Oh no, I am just as lost.. Although, I do know that the music theory class is that way." She says, pointing a thumb behind her. " I just come from there." She smiles. "Oh and the dorms are somewhere over there I think.." She says, pointing at a diagonal. She was slightly unsure of if the dorms were actually over there, but she figured that she couldn't be that far off.

I got the skills in my moves" she gave a hearty chuckle as she looked towards the direction her finger pointed when she said dorm room cause that is where she needed to go. "Well that is what I was trying to find.. the dorms cause I can't keep hollering my suitcase around the halls all day!" she exclaimed with a giggle."Are you staying on campus or?" she had to see if she had a room mate or not and she hoped the least she didn't get a messy one.

Lucas listened to how the name sounded, and quite liked it. It sounded artsy, mysterious, and surprisingly, not much like a constellation at all. "I think it's fine," he said, looking around the room, his eyes resting on Ally. "Good job picking the name," he said with a small smile.


Then he turned to Ari, super hyped. "Let's get the friend of the friend in stat! So guys, I barely know any of you. Let's do an icebreaker thing." He scanned his mind for games to play. "How about never-have-I-ever?" He grinned playfully.

Danni laughed. "I'm normally first out but sure, why not?" She looked between Ari and Ally as she laid flat on her stomach, her arms dangling over the bed and her fingertips brushing the ground. She stretched her hands out slowly curled her fingers back into fists, effectively sending a flurry of popping noises coming from her hands.
