She was so zoned out that she didn't hear people come in. She runs her fingers across the piano keys. She stands up grabbing her bag and walking back into the beautifully crowded halls. She looked at her schedule and welcome paper to find her dorm. She was so excited for a dormmate and to experience the amazing opportunities that were being offered.

Rufus stopped playing, he walked over to a table and started to write down some notes, he was busy with composing a new song, with four mallets. He nodded at the others but continued without giving them much attention, he didn't needed to find out his dorms, his parents had bought a appartement for him and his twin. They both had their own bedroom, and enough space to invite friends over.


After talking to his friends, Sef walked trough the school towards the small gymnasium, the school had a small one. Sef only uses it when he is busy on school, but he mostly trains in a bigger on in the City. He started with stretching and running a few rounds. The doors of the Gymnasium were open, and many student took shortly a look if there were ones doing some spectacular moves. Sef was the only one, and a few made a small talk with him as he was sitting on the floor and preparing his routine

Mariah had forgotten her way around . she seen someone sitting by the gym so she walked over to say hello

Sef started with his floor routine, he made first a few saults, a back flip and a round with stretched back flip,


He saw Mariah and smiled at her "Hey," he was at the other side of the floor and made a dive roll to get to her "How are you?"

After waiting for what seemed like half an hour in front of the wooden dormitory door, Darrel thought would waste less time by coming back later. Her second most desired place to visit at the moment was the music room. She had heard they bought new string instruments and was itching to give them a try. And with that thought she hoisted her satchel to her shoulders and made her way to the west side.


Upon arriving at the room, Darrel pushed open the door and stepped in quietly, being careful not to interrupt anything. She noticed a music student in the middle of composing. His name was something a long the lines of Rufus and he had a twin. That was all she remembered from seeing him last year.


With her back to the door, she pushed it shut and approached Rufus with a polite smile.


"Good morning, Rufus isn't it? I'm Darrel. Theatre student. Nice to meet you." She said, extending her arm to shake his.

Rufus walked back to his marimba and tested a view cords, he sat down again and continued composing. He didn't noticed Darrel coming in, he looked up to her and stood up to shake her hand, he had a strong handshake and smiled "Yes, I'm Rufus, Music student, nice to meet you" He sat down again and continues composing "Which year are you?" He was nearly finished with the first part, of probably 8, because he liked the number 8. He wasn't done yet with the bass of the part, he found that the most difficult. The melody, on a vibraphone and even keyboard were already finished,

Sef smiled at her "Yeah, I am the only one, what can you do? I can learn you some tricks now" he smiled at her, they were in the same year, both in the last one. He jogged back the the floor and made some flick flacks and ended with a backflip "You are coming?"

Mariah took her heels off and proceeded to the mat with Sef she was excited and nervous, she hasn't attempted these moves for about a year now and she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of Sef.


She cartwheeled over to him being silly and stood next to him waiting for his instruction

Sef smiled, "Cool, just try what you can, a dive roll or something?" He didn't knew what she could or would do. However, she seemed quite skilled looking at the cartwheel

"Year 12, senior." She responded bluntly.


Her eyes skimmed over the sheets of musical notations and began to hum the simpler vibraphone parts. It sounded nice. She liked the chord progression.


"What are you writing? Or rather, why are you writing? Classes haven't started yet." She asked him. Although she enjoyed composing in her own time, she only dared to try something at this scale timbre with a partner or as an assignment. Somehow, she simply found it hard to have the music move itself instead of composing it plot driven as she usually did in theater.

"This is my job, I hope, and I need more scores so I could sell them," It was very useful that he could play all the instruments and knew how it sounds in his head, he just had to write it down "You can play any melodic percussion?"

"Here on the floor or on the trampoline?" On the trampoline it was not difficult, just jumping high and looking back. On the floor it was slightly more difficult to do, you have to do an roundoff before it.

"How about we try both?" Mariah gave a slight smile as she tied her hair back waiting for him to show her what to do

Sef nodded "Alright, let's start at the trampoline" he climbed on it and made a few jumps "Look, you have to jump up, and look up before you move your feet up, but keep stretched so you would turn"


He made a back layout and a normal back flip

She climbed off the trampoline and did what he showed her she stumbled a bit but did it without breaking any bones


She did a little dance to cheer

"You can spend the night whenever you want, and if you're going to be in my band then you'll probably have to." Danni began to decorate the area she had claimed, taping up posters of some of her favorite bands and setting her drumsticks on a shelf. "Oh, this is the perfect time for you to audition. I'll even pretend I'm not paying attention to make it easier," Danni added as she continued putting little trinkets and other things all around the bed before beginning to make it with her sheets.

Ally's eyes widened at Danni's request. She wasn't really ready to sing yet, but figured she had to so she turned around, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Oh all the money that e'er I spent..." she sang softly yet beautifully. "I spent it in good company. And all the harm that e'er I done." she held her hands to her chest as she sang Parting Glass. Eventually, towards the end of the song, she worked up the courage to turn around and begin moving around. She mostly just moved her arms with her pitch but some might see it as graceful in the manner she did it. @McMajestic

He examined her for a moment while he waited. I should definitely talk to her later, she seems pretty cool. Plus she's cute, so that's a bonus. he thought to himself. @Amelia White

Danni slowed in her work as Ally sang, dropping onto her bed and sitting, watching intently as she sang. After a long moment of silence after the last note Danni grinned brightly. "Damn girl, your voice gave me goosebumps." She held out her arms for proof. "That was amazing. You're totally the lead singer." Danni got to her feet and hugged Ally tight, practically lifting her off the ground with her bear hug before letting go and quickly scrounging up some sheet music. "Do you write songs? We can totally write songs together! Oh, we need a guitar player, though," Danni added, looking over at Ally. "Is your cousin into music, too, by any chance? Maybe I can have him audition while I'm chewing him out for ditching you." She smiled, letting Ally know she was joking.
