For a moment, the boy frown and a crease appeared between his brows. As fast as it had came, it vanished and he was smiling slightly again with his little dimples. "You know, i think i've had enough of a breather today. In all honesty, the speed walking did not help me at all.." He admited, pushing the note back into the pocket of his jeans. Now he kind of felt bad for straight out rejecting their invitations, after all they were just being nice to him. He too wore something like a sheepish expression but it was more awkward as he asked "do you mind if i take back what i said and join you guys?"

Shafer brightened immediately, eyes gleaming with excitement as he nodded and clapped his hands together with a sense of accomplishment. "Fantastic~ Now we just need to go find Thai... Oh gosh, there's all kinds of trouble he could be getting himself into by now. We've already left him alone for a solid two minutes, he could've blown up the cafeteria by now." Shafer seemed genuinely worried as he glanced down at his phone and turned on his heel. He looked back at Eirian expectantly. "C'mon, Eirian," he purred the blonde's name. "That's a really cool name by the way."

"Yeah, Definitely" Amelia smiles. It was her first day and she's already made three new friends. My mom is gonna be so excited! She thinks, her mom told her to call after her first day. "So, what kind of genres do you listen to? I'm kind of all over the place but I find myself listening to a lot of rock music." She was staring a bit at his ukulele, she's never played one before, but seeing someone play it now, she was interested.

"I listen to a lot of different genres, I have no definite favorite one." He would readjust his beanie, while noticing her looking at his ukulele. "Have you ever play one? I got it from my mom before she died."

The ukulele would some band stickers on it, and a poem written on the back.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, thats horrible.." She says, looking at her shoes. She was unsure of what to say but her thoughts her interrupted by Matt handing her his guitar. Taking it in her hands, she looks over it. "I don't really know how to play one.. I usually just stick to Danny." She says. Soon after saying it, she realizes that other people don't know Danny. "My guitar.. Danny.. I promise i'm not as weird as I probably sound.." She laughs.

"I could teach you a simple song, it's like playing playing a tiny guitar." He would pluck a few strings, creating a simple riff. "It's totally awesome when a guitarist named their guitar. Gives a connection."

Eirian watched Shafer with curious eyes. It seemed that he and his friend were really close and that made a smile grow on his face. Shafer called his friend names and such but, at the end of the day, he really cared for Thai.


At the mention of his name, Eirian nodded but seemed a little sheepish about Shafer's compliment. "Thanks... But apparently its a girls name..." He said, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

Shafer's strides were long but he didn't get as far as most people, considering his height situation. He glanced back at Eirian and waved that concern off rather easily. "I wouldn't worry about it. Girl names are super pretty. Also my brother's name is Sasha and he gets along just fine." He smiled at the blonde reassuringly before turning back to face front and pushing an earbud into his left ear. "So what are you here for?"

Behind him. Eirian walked with faster smaller strides being just a bit shorter than Shafer, and most guys his age, which usually bummed him out. He was teased sometimes about it by his friends from his old school but he had gotten used to it and didnt mind.


"Thanks, Shafer.." He said after a while of silence, a slight grin on his face. No one had really said that to him before. "And where is your name from? Shafer was quite the interesting name and, in all honesty, he had never heard anyone else with it. It was most likely American, but Eirian didnt get out much so he didnt meeta whole lot of people and such. His own name was Welsh as well as his Surname. Originally his family came from Britain but his parents moved here a few years after getting married,


"And What do you mean? Like what got me in to the school?" Rian asked back, taking another bite of his apple.

Shafer tilted his head back and shrugged. "Y'know. I have no idea where my name came from. I know my native name is Thich'Chalai. Which means 'pretty bird prancing on the beach'. I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically what it means. And it's pretty accurate, I mean. Look at me." He ran his fingers through his hair, giving a cocky smile as he arched a brow dramatically.


"And yeah, what got you in here? I'm here for piano, acting, and dancing."

This earned another bubbly laugh from the blonde boy. It was weird that this guy didnt annoy him or anything. He was cocky but in a fun, playful way. "You're such a wierdo." He said through his light chuckles, his gaze fixed on Shafer. He could get used to laughing so much.


when Shafer asked about his talent, he debated whether or not to tell him about his art and writing but decided not to. They werent what got him in after all. "And um... acting...pretty much i guess?"

"That's true," Shafer shrugged in response to the 'weirdo' comment, still smiling haughtily.


He blinked in surprise when Eirian uttered the same talent as his own. "No shit? Ohh are you in my class tomorrow? We should do an extremely gay love scene and start some fun rumours," Shafer went off excitedly, hands moving animatedly as he walked.

"You have a strange definition of fun," replied Eirian pointedly yet there was a joking tone to his voice. The entire of acting out a gay love scene was rather awkward at first, but the more he thought about it, the more fun it started to sound. Some people already thought he was gay because he didnt have a six pack, so a little more rumors wouldnt hurt.. Would it?

"Thank you, for being the first person to not think I was a complete weirdo for naming my guitar." She laughs. Everyone back home always thought it was so strange to name instruments, but she grew up believing that was how it was done. "And yeah, that'd be awesome. I should probably get back to my room mate because my stuff is literally everywhere in that room." She says, looking back at Leah and Travis. "But I'll be in room 18, And it's been stellar man, I'll see you around." She turns to walk quickly back over to Leah.


"Sorry about that, I got caught up" She says, with a hand on the back of her neck and the other in her pocket. Looking into the room she could see her stuff sprawled every which way inside. "I'll get that, I didn't think I had a roommate.." She walks in, picking up her stuff and moving it to one side of the room.

"I'm sure you'd agree with all the aspects of my idea of 'fun' if you let me show you," Shafer spoke confidently as he looked over to Eirian and held the door to the cafeteria open for him. "And I personally think that class could stand to have a bit more gay in it. It has almost no gay currently. And regardless, I'm sure they'll stop us if it gets too past PG. Then we can just continue our antics somewhere else~"

Walking down to his dorm room, two doors down. He would drop his bag, and grab his dorm key out of his pocket. Opening the door, he would walk over to the bed, and place his bag on it. He would unzip it, and start taking out all of his valuables and place them on an ear by shelf. Taking out his computer, he would put it on the nightstand next to his bed.

He would then sit on the bed, and lean back on the pillow. He would begin strumming and try to make a song.

"Wow, she was cool girl. I hope I can meet more like her," he said to himself.

Finishing his sentence, he would take out his old cracked iPhone and call his Dad, asking him to drop off all of his stuff.​

Rian pretended to curtsy to Shafer with a goofy smile on his face before walking through the opened door into the cafetaria. "Antics? Uh huh, fun. whatever you say, Shafer," he chided, a grin on his face as he scanned the cafetaria for the boy named Thai. As embarrassing as it was, it was kinda fun pretending to be gay with Shafer. It wasn't very serious nor that awkward. Maybe they should try it out?

Shafer let the door close behind them just as he spotted the back of Thai's head. "Well, we could always start now." He made a last second decision and draped an arm around Eirian's waist, tugging him close and earning a few bewildered stares before he whistled sharply to get Thai's attention. "Hey, douchecanoe, we're leaving."


"Oh, you got him~! By the way, some cute Asian guy totally just hit on me but I can't do anything about it because I'm straight."


"Was the cute Asian guy you?"


"No!" Thai denied loudly as he scurried over to them. "He was real this time. I swear."

It was one thing talking about pretending to be gay. It was another actually doing it. Eirian had to hold in a yelp as Shafer snaked an arm around his waist, pulling the slender boy against him. As awkward as it was, Rian didnt want to do anything and embarass them anymore so he kinda just stayed put as if having his body so close to another guy's was totally normal.


Cracking up a slightly awkward smile, he placed a hand over the hand of the arm wrapped around his waist. Shafer and Thai's antics seemed to dispel some of the tension around him and for that he was eternally grateful. "... Dont worry i believe you." He joined in, replying to Thai, "or do i?"

Shafer smirked mischievously when Eirian all but squeaked when he was dragged closer, the boy's delicate frame rigid against his own relatively relaxed one. He glanced to Eirian briefly before turning his attention back to Thai, who looked about ready to cry with frustration. He bounced in place as he gestured to the place Hyeyong had been not five minutes before. "I swear to god, I was trying to pick him up for you, Shafer, and then he basically said he was a bottom and didn't need another bottom and that because I give off this ridiculously Dom vibe that he wanted me and then he just fucking left and he was super cute but I'm like. Totally straight."


"I know you are, Thai. I know you are," Shafer spoke condescendingly as he reached up with his free hand and patted his friend on the head. "It's gonna be okay, let's go to the cinema. It'll be fine."


Thai gave another frustrated sigh but allowed himself to be lead back towards the exit.

Sometimes Eirian found it difficult to tell whether people were joking or if they were being serious. Like at that moment, he couldnt quite tell if Thai or Shafer were just playing but he assumed they were. After all, both seemed like the playful, chilled type. Still he didnt know how they could so openly talk about their sexuality and such.


As he was also lead out of the cafetaria to the movies, he couldnt help notice some of the looks people were giving them. It was making him feel slightly hot and flustered at the act, but he didnt let any of his feelings show save for his warm cheeks.

Shafer cooed in mock sympathy when Thai let out another sigh just as they left the cafeteria. He couldn't help but play along when Thai got like this. His friend really was straight, they'd established that. But it was more out of a love for women and a hate for men than actual sexual attraction. When it came down to it, his friend was probably bisexual or something of the like but he couldn't allow himself to be like that because guys sucked.


"Girls are so perfect, Shafer..."


"I agree, Thai, but sometimes we have to listen to our--"


"I'm straight."


Shafer huffed in frustration and decided to drop it. He squeezed Eirian's hip just to elicit some sort of reaction as they approached Thai's car. As much as he didn't want to, he had to let go of the blonde in order to open the car door for him.

Eirian had been quiet for most of the time as they walked to the car. When he felt Shafer's hand squeeze his hip, however, his breath hitched and he let out a small yelp that dwindled into a low embarrassed whimper. His face heated up even more at the weird noise he had made so, when Shafer let go of him, he was more than happy to dive into the seat of the car and hide away from the eyes of people that were on him. There he sat with his arms crossed over his chest and his chin nodded to his chest in an attempt to make himself smaller.

Shafer's lips parted in surprise at Eirian's just completely adorable noise, eyebrows raising as he looked over to Thai, who was equally impressed with his catch. The Native sank his canines into the side of his lower lip as he watched the blonde disappear into the car. Thai strolled over to the driver's side, gaze still locked on Shafer.

'Oh my god,' Shafer mouthed at him and received a slow nod for his efforts before he sank into the seat beside Eirian. He closed the door as he got settled and slid his arm behind Eirian's back to hook around his waist once more.


"Ajumish, klav shia dos cromai," he mumbled to himself as he looked the blonde over.


Thai made an admonishing noise from where he was now pulling out of the school's parking lot. "Ok, Shafer, I understood like half of that and there will be none of that in my car."


"Since when is that a rule?" Shafer huffed.


"Since now."

"We're not in public anymore..." Rian murmured as Thai pulled out of the parking lot. His voice was soft trembling and his gaze was fixed on the arm wound around his waist yet he wasnt moving away.


At hearing Shafer's strange words, his eyebrow raised and his eyes lifted to meet his in a question. He could only imagine what the native boy had said but, before his imagination got a little out of hand. "...um... What did you say?"

Shafer gave a noncommittal hum of acknowledgement as he smiled at Eirian, agreeing that yes, they were no longer in public. He met his gaze unflinchingly. The Native ghosted his fingers along the blonde's hip absentmindedly as he opened his mouth to respond, fingertips occasionally dipping beneath the fabric of his shirt and brushing against his skin.


"Do not tell him what you said, Shafer," Thai interrupted rather rudely as he stopped them at a red light.


"Well, I said that I--"


"Shafer."


"... Fine." He relented reluctantly, shooting Thai a glare. "You win this one, Thai."


"I actually think Eirian wins this one."


"Why are you so mean."


Thai grinned at him through the rear view mirror.
