When the final battle broke the world, it changed us and we became far more terrible than gods and demons.
A hundred years after heaven and hell clashed on Earth, the remnants of humanity stagger on as the shadows of war linger on and old grudges begin to bear fruit.
The world as it once was is no more. The sky is still dark with the dust of battle and where before there cities, there is now only rack and ruin.
The Nephilim, born of angelic fathers from human women, are the first and last of their generation, unable to bear children themselves, but their lives are long and their powers are great.
And they have found the way to open a portal between worlds.
It is time for humanity to exact their revenge.

Oh whoops, this was meant to go in the interest check forum.
Oh well, anyways, more details to follow as they come to mind. Basically, the battle between heaven and hell happened, and hell lost. The Devil died on Earth and all the demons buggered off back to hell, but the humans that survived aren't going to let them hear the end of it and the Nephilim are helping out with that. Question is, are they just going to stop there or are they willing to go even further? Lemme know in ooc if you're interested.
