Fandom Hogwarts RP?

Parkersayhi

Sugar Prince
Heyo! I know I haven't posted in a while, I'm super duper sorry about that. ;; Well, you guys probably don't care anyways but this isn't about that.

I've cooked up another OC I'd like to try out in a Hogwarts RP.

I was hoping that maybe a romance could develop throughout the roleplay too between the characters.

My character's name is Calvin Banville.
Originating all the way from Ontario, Canada, Calvin is a quiet, shy boy who was unfortunately born with protanopia.
He's bisexual and doesn't really lean either way.
His favorite pastime is learning about Muggle history; considering his family was Half-Blood, he doesn't know too much about the non-magic world and is eager to learn about it.

Here's some concept art of him. Nothin' special really. Due to my extreme unoriginality, I based my character's appearance (and first name) off of the YouTuber LeafyIsHere. As such, this is technically fanart of that YouTuber since I don't have money for commissions and my art skills are nonexistent. That's why the captions talk about roasting people even tho Calvin is a sweet and sugar boi lmfao.
Here's the original page where the art was: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/826621706574510125/

Seems interesting!
As I am basically completely new at this, could you elaborate more? (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ
I have a Hogwarts OC too, should I also go into depth about her? I will anyway.

Her name is Emma Rose. She comes from Australia but her mother was born in England and so she and her family moved to England when she was nine. She is pure blood, though she and her family don't discriminate muggles or muggle borns. Cooking and muggle movies are her favourite past time. She is of heterosexuality (straight). She basically looks like the picture below (btw got this from the artist Ilya Kuvshinov because I can't draw squat either and I have no moneyz)

Hope to hear from you soon! ☆(❁‿❁)☆ghost_by_kr0npr1nz-d7faef1.jpg

Hai!
My apologies for not responding earlier -- video games take up 99% of my life these days. ^^"
But to elaborate what I meant, I was thinking it would be as if our characters were attending Hogwarts and (if you want) could hopefully fall in love with each other.
Your OC is awesome, by the way!

Hey,
It's no problem, I'm pretty much chill when it comes to waiting around. I spend most of my life doing that anyway. v(ಥ ̯ ಥ)v
I don't mind a romance at all, but how many people would you need before that could actually work?
Thank you, your OC is awesome too!

Thank you!
Probably many. With the teachers and other students and whatnot. Typically what I'd do if it's a 1x1 roleplay and there's a part with extra characters, I'd act out as the characters as well as my own, but if you prefer to use another method, that's completely fine!

I don't mind what method we use, in fact you decide. I'm not fussy.
Oh, and does that mean our characters are 11 because they are starting Hogwarts? Or do they not meet in the first year?

Thank you! ^^
And I was thinking maybe older since it's a romance and (speaking from personal experience) romance at 11 can get a little weird. But it's up to you!
If so, I was also thinking that they'd know about each other since their first year, but never really acknowledged each other. Like an "I know you but who are you?" kind of scenario if that makes sense. It's your call.

Yeah, I agree with you. 11 year old romances are a bit of a no.
How about 5th year? Not too young but not too old for them to have met at like the last year of Hogwarts. So they'd be 15. Or do you prefer 4th year or 6th?
Oh and I'm assuming that Harry Potter stuffz have already happened and Lord Voldemort popped his clogs. Like, is Harry Potter versus Lord Voldemort just another class in the History of Magic?
Most importantly: when do we start?

5th year is fine!
And we could have it be part of the class, since it was a big deal.
As for when we start, we can have it take place any time of the year. ^^

Alrighty then!
Are you going to make a different thread to roleplay? Or add a link in this one?
I'm still pretty new here, so, um yeah!
