So this is going to seem like a public call-out but actually it's mostly because I thought I should inform the group as a whole.


Just a quick note for everyone, especially regarding both my characters:


Some people probably know this but others might not so I thought I'd save myself time and put this out there.


When anyone is writing narration that includes Lott (that refers or references zir) please use Lott's actual pronouns. One can read zir pronouns in all my posts and googling any of the pronouns I use plus the actual word 'pronoun' will tell you what each tense is. Or you could even PM me! There's really no excuse.


I'm 100% down with characters misgendering Lott by speaking the wrong pronouns (or calling Lott a witch or a wizard and stuff) - if it's in-character then I'm in support of it. And plus it gives Lott a chance to whoop er, I mean educate some arses ( )


Just- misgendering in dialogue=okay! - misgendering in narrative=not okay!

I think it's only ze and zir, since that's what is used on the post @JustKay

No worries, just always safer to ask and check. I tend to default to the neutral ones without thinking about it so I'll keep a better eye on it. I was pretty sure I just tried to use Lott's name whenever possible.


 
Hey~ while I'm thinking about it is anyone going to any conventions or anything at the end of this year? Just to satisfy my mild curiosity since we are on the subject of correct pronoun usage. (I swear its not as tangential as it seems)

To be fair, I also use neutral pronouns in my narration a lot (and I really need to train myself out of that <_<) But yeah - ze/zir for Lott. (They/them for Kwan-Sun is fine, though!) (:3)

I think everyone is, just roll with it. Right now I'm assuming that everyone is either trying to find people via the hallway or outside the blown in door to the compartment Helena, Lott, and the guy-who-still-hasn't-introduced-himself's compartment.

Lott, Helena, Darcie & Seiger are outside a door that recently blew up (it blowing up was not directly from the train screeching to a halt).


Midas has run off down the central corridor of the train, presumably up towards the engine room.


Edmund, Catelyn & Amelia are also in the central corridor somewhere. They're looking for someone to tell them more about what happened. I don't know which direction they're headed.


Alice is presumably still in the compartment after Amelia left (bu I don' think Blank_Mind has been around for a while so ???)


And Kwan-Sun has been abandoned in the central corridor in the first carriage before the engine room.


And that's where it's at, right now (:3)


((Midas should totes run into or over Kwan-Sun. I am down for that.))

It's okay, my whole life consists of constant blond moments. I think we're waiting for @The Awakened Moon @ItsStacysMom and @Jaye at the moment. Once they've posted, things will probably be a lot clearer
