  Darcie loves sarcasm, and as a consequence most of her words are dripping in it. There is nothing that she enjoys more that taunting and teasing others, whether you are her friend or not.
  
  She's extremely cheeky, but knows her boundaries and respects her elders. She's always up for a good time, partying, sneaking out, and especially pranking the Gryffindors. As any other Slytherin is, she's considerably proud of her family and house. If a person was to insult either, they would be in grave waters with her. She's definitely one for revenge, and once she holds a grudge she will not let it go.
  
  Story
  
  As a child, Darcie grew up with her two elder brothers. It wasn't particularly easy, but nothing was ever hard. The children actually avoided each other most of the time, which was easy enough to do in such a grand house. When she was 8, her brothers pretended that she didn't exist for a whole year. Which, although may sound quite amusing as a story, it gave the girl a few insecurities. Therefore, when the child joined senior school, she ensured that she would never be ignored again and claimed her place at the top of Slytherin. Since then she has always remained there.
  
  Being a Slytherin leader isn't all fun and games, to many it's much more than that. It's all about reputation & honour, which both come with a humongous amount of pressure. Since she began school, she maintained her reputation as a bitch, by being cruel to those may not necessarily deserve it. At first, she didn't enjoy doing that. As a matter of a fact it was rather contrasting, she detested watching others crumble as she taunted them. Yet, over the years her conscience has slowly deterioted and she finds it much easier to be the cold hearted, distant girl you see before you today.

Personality:

Catelyn is an ambitious and driven person, who is not quick to anger and is endlessly loyal to those she calls friends. At times she is naive to the ways of those outside of her well-off social circle, though never intentionally would she insult others as her family are ones to stray away from the idea of pureblood supremacy. Though sociable, Catelyn will usually be found with other Slytherins as opposed to those outside of her house. She is amicable toward others, however, her overriding need to be popular and have a good reputation among her house means that she is not quick to stand up to bullying when she wants to.

Story

Born to Adrian Fawley and Adelaide Nott, Catelyn's family were always wealthy aristocrats living in a small muggle village and were members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. Catelyn lived happily on the family estate and was a rather pampered only child. Catelyn displayed magical power very early on in life and was proud when she received her letter for Hogwarts at the age of eleven.

She is close to her mother with whom she likes to visit Twilfitt and Tatting's in Diagon Alley when not at school and though she does not see her father very often due to his busy job at the ministry of magic, she is spoiled by him whenever she is permitted time with him. For the most part, her social circle while at Hogwarts had been set since the day of her birth according to many of the pureblood families. A few of her fellow students and their parents openly disapprove of the Fawley's desire to integrate their life among the muggles of the village.

Personality:

Midas is a somewhat arrogant boy at times, and although never spoiled as a child, seems to have an innate sense of entitlement. He strives to be the best at everything he finds interesting and tends to believe that those who are not inclined the same way are beneath him. When talking to other peers he can seem condescending and it can be hard to tolerate him when he is this way, though those who are his friends know his softer, humorous and more lively side. Despite his arrogance, Midas is quite the charmer when he wants to be and is a little bit of a social chameleon, only showing his less savoury side when it suits him best and in that respect he is quite manipulative.


In general, Midas isn't one for parties and dislikes the ruckus his house members make when Gryffindor win quidditch matches and such, preferring peace and order. Many members of Gryffindor think he was sorted into the wrong house.




Story

Midas was born to two pureblood parents. His mother Mildred is a sports journalist for the Daily Prophet and his father Giuseppe "Joe" Savoretti is a seeker for the Swiss national quidditch team and also likes to play the American wizarding sport of quadpot as a hobby, travelling frequently between England and Switzerland. They met when his mother visited Lugano to write a sports article for the Daily Prophet and their relationship was something of a whirlwind romance.


Midas's family on his mother's side are well-known in the English wizarding world for producing many aurors and wizards and witches that stand up against dark wizards. Midas has a sister named Imelda who is three years older and with whom he has a love-hate relationship. The family live in the village of Godric’s Hollow as everyone in the family has for centuries and nearly everyone on his mother's side have been in Gryffindor house with the exception of his sister Imelda (Ravenclaw) and his two times-great grandfather Rufus (Hufflepuff).

Story

It was the perfect match. A scientist father and a magic mother. They use to joke that both were the same thing. So Helena grew up immersed into both worlds, as disjointed and unaligned as they seemed. She would spend days listening to her father explain all these fascinating things to her. Space, life, energy, progress, robotics, aerodynamics, physics. Her mother would pop in and out of the impromptu lecture with how this or that was just magic that muggles had managed to copy and explain.

To Helena magic and science were as intertwined as her parents. Their love for each other, for her, and for their professions grew in her a curiosity that was unmatched. While other kids colored or played hopscotch she would be building a rocket with her father. While kids learned about frogs her mother would be taking her on trips to see creatures most thought mere legends.

So it came as no surprise to when she began showing signs of magic. Of course she couldn’t always control it (not that she always wanted to either). The first rocket she ever built by herself was probably still orbiting earth, and her science fair plant may have tried to eat a teacher. But boy were the wonders that happened when she unintentionally combined science and magic beyond her wildest dreams. Of course each of these unfortunate incidences ended with her being scolded. Her parents couldn’t stay mad at her for long however often questioning her on how she did them and helping her to break down how they might have happened. Everything seemed to have been going on perfectly.

Isn’t that what is always said before things take the turn for the worst though? When her parents got the chance to work together on a project funded by the Ministry of Magic it was like all the best holidays rolled into one. They’d be journeying to the most remote locations to study the magic flora and funa that lived there to see what their uses might be. Not wanting to rip her from school they elected to send her to her grandparents for safe keeping. Unfortunately her grandparents were the worst kind of wizards, snooty judgmental pure bloods. They didn’t like that their daughter had married a muggle. They didn’t like that Helena practiced “science”. They didn’t even like her.

The only reason they agreed to it was because of all their hatred, Helena’s mother was still daddy’s little girl. Misguided maybe, but still daddy’s princess. But they did make life horribly unbearable. Never letting up on trying to break Helena down for every little thing. She didn’t eat right. She didn’t walk right. That wasn’t how magic was done. That wasn’t the proper thing to say. Science was for barbarians. Half bloods were scum, wizards shouldn’t even associate with muggles much less marry one. It was almost too much to bare, driving her to the point of some very horrid thoughts now that she looks back on it.

A golden ray of hope had come in the form of a letter from Hogwarts. She could escape this horrible place and not only practice magic but learn all she could about it! Perhaps even figure out ways to combine the practical “muggle” sciences with magic in order to take both to greater heights previously unknown. For days after the letter had arrived Helena was giddy beyond all logic. Squealing as thoughts danced through her head of possibilities. Several journals quickly filled up with sketches and plans.

Of course her grandparents only sniffed at disdained. Hogwarts wasn’t a proper school for purebloods but they guessed it was adequate for a half blood. The only good thing about their snobbish attitude was that they refused to send her to the school with anything but the best. However they couldn’t be seen toting around a halfblood in the magic world, a proper wizard might spot them. So they had sent Helena by herself to fetch all she might need for school. This lead to many wonderful purchases slyly added to thumb her nose up at her disdainful grandparents.

With hope in her heart of a better environment, and excitement over all of the new things she would learn and discovered she had traveled to Hogwarts as soon as was allowed. Now it is with great gusto that she throws herself into her studies, reveling in long debates with her fellow housemates. They are a family to her that actually happens to understand her. They have helped erased some of the scars her grandparents left on her and helped eased others. It is where she belongs and spurs her to discover even more things. Wither or not that gets her into trouble still is another thing entirely.​

Amelia has a mostly quiet demeanor at first but she opens up after a bit. She's friendly to almost everyone and isn't afraid to call anyone a friend, despite the fact that she used to be teased in primary school. She isn't exactly a social butterfly since she will rarely be the one to walk up to a person and introduce herself first but she does like to be around others. She can put up with mostly anyone. Amelia can be shy sometimes also and maybe even a bit naive. She's compassionate and warm and hates to feel angry towards people. Amelia likes to act confident towards others but she is actually a timid person and easily frightened.

Story

Life at home for Amelia was decent. She lived in a middle class home with her mother who's a muggle and her father, who's a wizard. Her father would use magic around the house frequently, exposing Amelia to it at an early age. Her father was able to teach her few things so when Amelia got into her first year, she was a little bit ahead of the other first years.

Amelia was always closer with her father since they were similar to each other and had a special bond. Her mother always felt left out since she didn't have magical powers like them and Amelia was aware of this. When Amelia was about to turn ten years old, her mother got into a fatal car accident on her way to work one morning, killing Amelia's mother on impact. Amelia, for some reason, blamed this whole accident on herself. She knew it wasn't her fault what happened but she couldn't stop herself from thinking that. It took a couple years for Amelia to get over this thought with the help of her father.

As a child, kids at school used to make fun of Amelia for being the different one in the class. She didn't really have any friends then since there was no one who could relate to her. She didn't talk to anyone at school and didn't have any friends. She especially had no one to talk to when her mother died. She always sat by herself at lunch and always had no one to play with during recess. But that all changed when she got to Hogwarts.​

His hair and eyes are both shades of brown, with his hair having a darker hue than his cow brown eyes.

Philip has always been someone who loved seeking out trouble (or 'adventure' as he usually calls it). For him, sitting still or doing nothing is the equivalent of hell on earth. He always has to be doing something, and this can lead to him sometimes sticking his nose into other peoples business. He usually doesn't do so with bad intentions however, usually it's simply boredom getting the better of him.

He is quite stubborn however, trying to convince him out of something can be quite difficult. He's got a head like a rock, and once a certain viewpoint gets set in there's likely no changing it. This does lead him to have a very strong sense of determination, once he's got his eyes on the prize there's no stopping him. But overall this can make rationalizing with him quite difficult.

As with every member of his house, he's both brave and loyal. Willing to do whatever it takes to protect his friends and loved ones. He doesn't go behind the backs of those he cares about, and is usually quite quick to trust other people. This can cause him to be somewhat naive in reading people's true intentions, unwilling to accept that someone might actually have foul plans.

Though he is good at making friends (and usually keeping them), he does suffer a bit with his school work. He's never be an exceptionally bright student, and his lack of focus contributes to his poor marks. But at the end of the day, this doesn't really phase him.

Story

Born to two Muggle parents, Philip's life seemed to be absolutely ordinary. He was a handful to take care of, but never seemed to be anything more than a rowdy little boy. His school marks while in Muggle school were never anything to be proud of, but he did get along well with most of his classmates. It seemed that while he would never be a rocket scientist, he would grow up to be a fine lad.

It was when he was around ten that things started to change. His parents started to fight more and more, sometimes even when Philip was around them. He'd get scared that one of them would hurt the other (or even him). When he learned that his parents were getting a divorce he began to slowly retreat into a shell. Blaming himself for his parents splitting up he started to slip into a rut. It was in said rut, while his parents were having yet another argument that his magic finally submerged.

Seemingly it was one of their typical fights, something that Philip could just block out until they stopped. But then he realized that he had been brought up into the conversation. They were fighting over him. Reaching his boiling point, he unleashed his anger in the form of magic. Every piece of glass in the room shattered, windows and light-bulbs. Even the fish tank they had. Though that argument stopped with the former happy family trying to make sure the fish were okay, this was the start of something new for Philip.

Within that year things only got stranger. Weird things started to happen around him. Sometimes things would vanish out of thin air. Other times things would start to float, even if just a little bit. These weird occurrences didn't seem to stop, and everyone around him started to notice. It was while he was visiting his father that he received his letter to Hogwarts. His father was more accepting of the idea that there was something beyond their comprehension than his mother was. But the final verdict was that he would attend his bizarre school.

Upon his first encounter to the wizarding world, he was baffled. All these people were like him, able to do things the mundane world would never be able to. And for some strange reason, that gave him comfort.

His first year at Hogwarts was more or less a year to establish himself. He was placed into the Gryffindor House without a second of doubt. Though he never did anything exceptional his first year he got the lay down of the wizarding world, and everything in it. This was also the year where he came to accept the fact that his parents wouldn't be getting back together and it had nothing to do with him.

His second year was a bit more advanced, now comfortable he would sneak around a bit more. A bit more bold and brave. His third year was when he finally had enough confidence to play pranks instead of going to classes. Both fourth and fifth years seemed to speed by. While he got into a fair bit of trouble, he did do well enough to pass.

Now he's a sixth year, and time is growing short for him to have fun at Hogwarts. Hopefully he'll be able to finally leave his mark his year. Beyond mediocre pranks and late night sneaking.

Now he might finally leave a bang.​

  Lott's always kept zir hair pretty short, never going much longer than the shoulders, though these days it's even shorter in that the shaggy brown mop doesn't go longer than the nape of zir neck. Kinda tall for a girl but kinda short for a boy, Lott feels zir hight is perfect and even with the pudge on zir thighs and around zir middle ze still thinks zir weight is perfect too. Ze has rich, dark (but still obviously) brown eyes that often get a helping hand from some eyeliner. Zir is liberally sprinled with freckles, not just across zir face but over the rest of zir body too. Lott keeps zir uniform neat and has a habit of switching between the boy's and girl's uniforms, as well as mixing them up and even having a custom-made uniform that blended the qualities of both. Ze wears a wide mix of pureblood fashion and chastises anyone who misgenders zir based on what ze is wearing.

  Lott is a quiet if not bubbily wix who adores in new discoveries and in making anarchy of the laws of the world.

  Lott is a peculiar mix. A loner at heart but constantly bubbiling over with emotion, Lott often keeps to zirself but has a hard time keeping things internal. When ze has news ze tends to fidget, bouncing and shaking from zir feet and rattling the rest of zir body (depending on how important ze thinks the news is). Ze can keep from making a single sound, but the contained words will vibrate out into their limbs. Lott doesn't naturally seek company but is content to have it. Ze is the kind of person that finds a comfortable silence easily. Because of zir loner attitude and zir habit of dissappearing at odd times, ze probably tends to have a mysterious if not outright intriguing reputation.
  
  
  Lott is a kinetic person and it shows with excess when ze is happy. Ze uses large gestures, talking as much with zir hands as with zir words. When specifically joyous, others will find that Lott's words are basically laced with a constant stream of chuckles as if ze physically can't stop from laughing with joy, even as ze speaks. Ironically, if ze is that happy but doesn't need to speak, ze won't be laughing or chuckling. Zir laughter will be silent, lips pressed tight and zir body shaking with it. Occassionally zir glee will be exlemparfied by ze clapping zir palms together in a childish manner. Lott is pretty easily entertained, but anything to do with spell development piques zir interest and tearing down rules or stereotypes is a plus.
  
  
  Lott has a very subdued type of sadness - very melancholy. Ze doesn't really get upset over failure but having research and knowledge outright destroyed is devestating. As a similar extension, ze finds it very disheartening to see people who's creativity has been stifled or who refuse to be creative. Stereotypes (especially in regards to people, houses, family names, etc.) are also upsetting topics for zir. Lott still uses lots of gestures but they tend to be a lot more vague or slow and ze doesn't raise zir hands and arms up much passed zir waist when making said gestures. Lott has a hard time crying over even the most upsetting of events. Part of this is because ze has a hard time crying full stop - the most expression ze is likely to have is for zir jaw to shiver and shake. The other part is because ze is predisposed towards "Don't get sad - Get mad."
  
  
  And oh Merlin can Lott get mad. Whether the wand is the cause or the effect, it's certainly thanks to zir Phoenix core that the environment tends to go haywire when ze gets mad. Zir raging magic tends to make things multiple, though often in destructive ways. It might make a contained fire flare up and catch other things alight or cause plumbing to overflow. Luckily this only happens in rather extreme situations, often when Lott is mad and sad at once. It's only once happened at school and it was contained swiftly by a professor. Usually Lott's anger is charactised by, weirdly enough, a lack of gesticulation. The madder ze is the stiller ze gets and instead ze runs off zir mouth, shouting and insulting and swearing. Seeing people stifling creativity is something that makes zir tic, but more than that is seeing people encourage a fear of the unknown or a fear of trying.
  
  
  Lott hasn't had much time for love or lust and indeed has little patience for both. Ze prefers to be studying or researching and designing new spells and is known for spending most spare hours in the library at school, or within the family library at home. Not that ze isn't interested or anything - ze even has some experience. Lott likes almost anybody who can keep up and is unconventional. Odd hair colours are a natural attractor as are people with exhuberent laughs.

  It's not easy being the spare. The first born, female or not, was the heir with few exceptions. Charlotte's older sister was no exception which left her as... the spare. It left her with more space than she could fill and more freedom than a child should really have. The Pucey's didn't have a horrible reputation but they had a dark enough one to saddle the children the baggage of the family name. With the family essentially training the eldest child, Charlotte was left mostly alone in the family estate. There favourite room was the library but funnily enough when not there Charlotte would always be found outside, exploring the grounds from edge to edge. And occasionally beyond.
  
  
  
  
  
  The family had thought that Charlotte would be a Ravenclaw, with how the child adored to study and research. The factor that had been missed in that assessment, of course, was that Charlotte only did so out of burning, passionate ambition. The second child was determined to make an impact and to rise about being the family's spare. Charlotte was determined to changed the world by its very foundations. Nothing was going to stand in the way of such ambition - so it was that Slytherin got another Pucey. Charlotte didn't find it easy to make friends, being too erratic and studious to be considered reliable. There were a few who could be called upon to be partners in class (and who could call upon her) but in the free hours Charlotte spent most of the time contently alone.
  
  
  
  
  
  By third year, Charlotte was confident in the basic principals of magic and wanted to start along a different path. What where rules if they could not be bent, subverted, broken, disproved? Every time a procedure claimed that a spell, potion or ritual would always have an effect or could never be stopped Charlotte would snort and make notes on how to rewrite the claims the books made. Potions had always been the teen's worst subject but in this year the marks of all subjects dropped. It was assumed to be a teenage rebellion, which her parents (Adrian and Latisha) tried to talk Charlotte out of. They think they succeeded when in actual fact, a few months before the end of the school year, Charlotte found the proper balance between anarchy and actually producing results.
  
  
  
  
  
  It was sometime during fourth year that Charlotte came to the concious realisation of something that had hovered for the past year or two - that 'she' wasn't really the right thing to call 'her'. Ze started introducing zirself as Lott, zir only designated nickname, and embracing the fluidity of zir gender. Ze delighted in saying "Witches, Wizards and Wixes" as much as explaining new spell research. But boy did ze love explaining the latter - ze subscribed to a number of magical journals all to do with spell research and development. Ze really got stuck into inventing new spells - starting with the more simple compunded spells and reverse-engineering counter-spells. In zir fifth year, Lott passed zir OWLS with astounding grades. An O for Charms, DADA, Ancient Runes, Herbology, History of Magic, Arithmancy and Transfiguration and an EE for Care of Magical Creatures. Ze only got an A in Potions and even that grade was only thanks to Lott ignoring all the questions and writing an essay on Updating and Improving ancient potion methods.
  
  
  
  
  
  Lott is in zir final year of NEWT studies now and is determined to do as well in them as ze did in zir OWLs - if not better. Ze is studying hard for the exams but is also doing a lot of extra-ciricular study in all of zir subjects. Ze wants to not just pass zir NEWTs but to show the examiners a thing or two. Zir subjects don't really match up with any obvious profession, but it not because zir is going to be an independant researcher like many assume - it's because Lott as zir sight's set on becoming an Unspeakable.

  Kwan-Sun does not care for the magical world any more. They still enjoy Vegas-style Muggle magic, but 'real' magic is something that they now detest. The thing is, they used to be really friendly so they still have a lingering large pool of friends, some from their year, some from the younger years and some from the older years (their big sibling giving them an advantage in that regard). These days they get along best with other trouble-makers these days and loves to talk with Muggleborn's or half-bloods about their Muggle heritage. They're very personable and a bit touchy-feely but they're always there to listen and support their friends (even the ones that insist on talking up magic).
  
  
  True happiness is mostly an emotion of the past, as far as anyone from school can see. When they were younger, Kwan-Sun was a rather peppy kid, their showmanship really coming alive with joy. These days happiness is a rather vicious feeling, closer to schadenfreude then to true joy. Kwan-Sun takes a cruel happiness in magical failures and in others being let down by magic or in Muggles triumphing over magical techniques. One can hear the difference in their true joy and their schadenfreude - their laugh is louder and meaner and their gestures are a little sharper and a little more painful.
  
  
  Kwan-Sun has unfortunately developed a bit of a complex in that they think that if others seem them being sad and upset then they'll take advantage of the weakness. Not many have seen them sad (their older sibling being the obvious exception). It's mostly stress that gets them sad - the stress of studying or the stress and frustration of being so angry all the time building up and boiling over. Their melancholy is a quiet thing where tears well up and helplessly overflow, their breathing growing heavy and ragged but, otherwise, the whole affair being rather silent. They tend to go hide in bathroom stalls when this overwhelming feeling bubbles up. If caught like this, they become quite incoherent and the sadness just wells up all that much more. They would try and cover their face and hide what was happening.
  
  
  These days, it's basically Kwan-Sun's default to be angry - or it is when they're at school. The magical world just makes them so mad. They're angry at how things are run, they're angry at how Muggles are forgotten about, about how even when they're kind magical people still have these ways of being superior to Muggles. They're angry about how science is laughed off by witches and wizards. Being their default mood, it's not particularly explosive. Kwan-Sun's anger is rather passive-aggressive. It's rude words, sarcasm and mockery paired with a dark, often glaring but most of all unimpressed expression. They move fast and determined, often causing people to jump out of the way lest they get their feet run over by their wheels. They have no fear or shame of talking back to professors or of interrupting other students.
  
  
  In between disparaging the Magical world and touting Muggle popculture and tech, Kwan-Sun has a shocking amount of time for flirting. But there's a difference between their flirting because flirting and their flirting because maybe we could date?[/i} - the former will mostly be about physical things and referencing how sexy a person is. This is obviously not flirting with any thought of follow-through since they are asexual. Panromantic, however (with an inclination towards ceteroromance) so flirting can still lead somewhere. Their proper flirting is a lot more shy and soft with intricate compliments.

  The Taylor's only had their mother, and maybe that was part of why the two siblings where so close. That and Kwan-Sun had needed support from a young age. Their sibling, older by only a year, often acted as a stand-in second parent, helping out their mother. They both of them were born in South Korea, their mother moved them up to Scotland when they were still so young that they didn't even remember their birth country. Kwan-Sun had always loved magic - less the wiccan ritualistic kind and more the flash and bang of Las Vegas magicians. When the Hogwart's professor came for their older sibling they thought it was the best thing to ever happen to their family - especially the hint that they'd get to attend next year. They'd poured over their siblings genuine magic books and once at Diagon Alley he'd marvelled at every sight, practically flashing with a sign that they and their family wasn't native to magic. They'd owled every week and had waited patiently for a year before they could join their sibling.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Nothing had quelled this mood for the first two years - even coming face to face with thousands of staircases had only momentarily concerned them before a perfect had found them and taken them to the Hospital Wing to get hover charms for their wheelchair. They delighted in learning magic - Charms was their favourite subject but every subject followed close. They grew a little confused at the difference between what they thought of magic and what the school did - it was a surprising class when their Charms professor mentioned Vanishing charms and Kwan-Sun proudly claimed they could do that. (It was even more surprising when they 'successfully' vanished a knut behind the Professor's ear). Amongst their year, and perhaps even the year above, they earned a small reputation as a Magician, which is what the half and purebloods took to calling their 'Muggle Magic'.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  However after those first two years the perfect glean of magic stopped blinding him and Kwan-Sun started to question things. Like when would they learn normal (Muggle) subjects. Why nothing in the last decade of technology worked at school. And when they got next to no answers it just inspired them to ask more. Instead of staying, they begun going back home during the holidays. At the start of the Summer break between third and fourth year, they begged their mother for distance education so as to finish Muggle high school as well as their magical studies. They spent the Summer catching up with the first two years and spent the actual school year attempting to get get up to date with the third and fourth years of Muggle high school. They didn't great great marks, but they passed well-enough to continue taking distance education. The hardest part, they find, is the assumption that students have access to computers. They have a small fort of books in their dorm room instead.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  By forth year Kwan-Sun was well and truly disillusioned. Every structure in the Magical world seemed faulty, not to mention the magical political climate they were old enough to appreciate. They lost heart in the Magical world and, sadly, in magic itself. The reality of it had ruined the allure. Their grades dropped over his fourth year (still dropping in their current year) and they're in danger of not receiving their OWLs. They were counselled once by their Head of House as to why their previously O-level grades had dropped but it didn't help. Kwan-Sun became belligerent and flaunted their Muggle heritage at school (instead of the opposite, as they used to do). They even goes so far as to call themself a mudblood - but with pride, not loathing. They continued studying distance education, they're grades getting better in the Muggle school.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Now starting their fifth year, Kwan-Sun has abandoned the magical world. They are resolved to ignore most all of the magical world until they graduate or is kicked out. They plan to leave the magical world behind at graduation and only stays due to loyalty to their 11 year old's memory of excitement at being told they were a wizard. They are known to the professors as somewhat of a problem child and is receiving regular counselling from their Head of House about their failing grades. Their older sibling has grown quite concerned about the younger Taylor but doesn't really know what to do about the situation.

  Sieg is a boy of average size, coming in at about 5'10", healthy but not small. His hair, a sweet Chocolate Brown, never seems to be combed down and it's a mystery whether he chooses to look like that, or simply doesn't bother anymore. It frames his face well nonetheless, sticking up in all sorts of directions. Soft blue-green eyes give an impression of honesty and gentleness, but gives no hint to his quick wit and sharp mind. Sieg has a longer nose dotted with freckles that last year-round, traveling across his cheeks, and around young but scabbed and bitten lips. As for his build, Sieg is the type of kid with tone, but no weight. He has enough on himself to stand his ground and sprint for long amounts of time, but in a fair, physical fist fight, he is well aware that he would surely lose.   It's not that Sieg doesn't enjoy the company of other people -- it's more about the fact that he is more comfortable with himself. Sieg isn't the most... charismatic of all Wizards. He's polite, sure, and loves to please, but going so far as to crack a hopeless joke never seems to be worth any of his time or trouble. He'd much rather stick to his tricks, his noise, himself. When he does happen to make a good friend, though, he's sweet and always there to figure a way around their problems. Even though he's often caught with eyes looking down, seemingly uninterested in the world, he can be quite excitable. Get the right passions into him, and he will always be smiling about it like it's the best thing in the world. Speaking of passions; while he has no particular interest in Athletics and would rather stay off of the Quidditch field, he finds himself most comfortable in Charms class, or Transfiguration. It might be because of his own familiarity with Transformation and Metamorphic abilities, that he finds himself excelling in that class.
  
  Story
  
  Sieger was brought up like most wizards typically are: in a colorful house, full of enchanted things and howlers that reminded anyone that walked past, NOT to open the front hall closet. Unlike most Wizards, however, Sieger grew up in a small little town that was closely populated by Muggles; they were the only magical family in the neighborhood. Because of that, Sieg also grew up with the frequent use of Muggle and non-Magical objects. Instead of a broom, Sieg flew (not literally) on bicycles, and instead of enchanted dishes, they had a dishwasher. It was the setting in which he lived that made this Pureblood boy so humble (and also encouraged the jokes of how he'd be the prefect candidate in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office)... and when he arrived at the great Hogwarts, he was as blown away as any Halfblood or Muggleborn was.
  
  Sieg's parents were just as humble as he was, and never pushed him into showing off his already-known ability to change his appearance or trying to jinx the neighbor's cat. They lived as a happy little family, and Sieger never has a problem with coming home to them for the summer.

Ed, like many Ravenclaw's, prides himself on being rather intellectual. He does have a tendency to flaunt his knowledge, and even get a little smug with it. This is not out of malicious intent or some misguided sense of superiority however, instead he enjoys the opportunity to use what he has learn't and to challenge his mind. His general demeanor is a little silly, never taking things particularly seriously and finding jokes to always be a solid answer to everything. Despite fact he enjoys chatting to others and generally being sociable, he doesn't like being at centre of it. This may have to do with his habit of zoning out in conversation which he deems uninteresting, leading to the scenario where he'll be simply smiling and nodding as someone talks to him, not really taking what they say aboard. He doesn't really hold a grudge and tries to get along with everyone, no matter their house. Not to say he is always successful with this, but he tries never the less.

Story

Born to a muggle mother and a wizard father, Edmund grew up with no clue as to his magical abilities, or his fathers. The three lived in a small town outside of Bristol, with Ed living life as a normal kid, completely unaware of the magical world. He had a fairly average life, perhaps a bit more privileged then some due to his mothers family being rather wealthy but nothing extravagant.


He got along with most of his class mates in the muggle school he attended, rarely getting into fights or the like. It wasn't until he turned eleven and received his letter from Hogwarts that he was told of an entirely different world hide from his own. To say he was shocked is a understatement, but it didn't stop the feeling of excitment which almost caused him to pass out . Magic was real! And his father was a wizard, but best of all, he got to attend a school in which he learn't how to use it! While somewhat overwhelmed by all he'd found out, he couldn't wait to begin learning at his new school.


Ed's first couple of years were like one might expect, marvelling at his new surroundings, unable to control his excitement at being able to cast a spell, even if it was the most basic. But as time went on, the original thrill slowly wore off, life at Hogwarts became the norm. Things which once enthralled the boy, now didn't so much as raise an eyebrow.


Now beginning his sixth year, Ed is looking forward to returning to Howarts, even if it doesn't captivate him as it once did.

Alice is probably the closest definition of a stereotypical Hufflepuff, carrying the characteristics of what Hufflepuff is considered to be. She is loyal to a fault, and is overly loyal to people for the smallest things imaginable. For example, she could do a rather large favor for you to be square with you giving her a quill or a writing utensil. When someone would start to ask but never finish the end of the sentence, she probably would ask them to continue what were they were saying and never give up on it, although she would feel overly bad about it. Her insistent is close to nosy. However, she may come back to that topic later on and not forget about it at all. Due to her loyalty she also is rather protective of who she thinks is a good person, not necessarily a friend.

She is also rather modest when it comes to praise, saying it is usually the group itself not the members of the group individually. She may easily be able to do favors for others, and sometimes insist on them asking her to do favors if she had time, knowing the meaning of stretching herself too thin (although that happens sometimes). She seems that she would do favors easily, the first person to volunteer for something, but never allow someone to bite off more than he/she can chew. This makes her also very easy for others to overuse her loyalty for their own benefit.

Story

Alice was born in a family with one side of the family full of witch and wizards, that being her mother's side and another full of normal 'muggles' that being his father. This, of course, making her a half blood witch. When the letter came around when she was eleven, like everyone else who was to go to Hogwarts. Her father was a little weird out by the whole thing of the wizard world, however to be fair if someone said that in a world suited to technology that there was magic they would probably think that you have lost your marbles. He accepted it somehow and helped her and her mother go to get her school supplies. (Which continued every year after). When she went through platform 9 and 3/4, which she would admittedly terrified her the first time she went into the pillar of bricks, even though she had trusted her mother.This was mainly because she was usually in the muggle world rather than the wizarding one.

When she was at Hogwarts, it didn't take The Sorting Hat less than a second to place her into Hufflepuff, which is where her wizard side of her family usually went, that including her own mother. When there she easily made friends with Hufflepuff, and also quickly made enemies in Slytherin. She didn't group all of them together, mainly because she didn't like some of the people in Hufflepuff and thought positively towards some students in Slytherin. When classes started, she was a mix of nervous and excited, she was surprised that she was starting to get used to the classes, the world was so new to her, yet she started to adapt to it well getting used to the school and the new world before her first year in Hogwarts ended. She grew rather fond of Hogwarts, and usually counted the days till her second year came along and every year up to this year being her fourth.
