Fandom Hogwarts 2nd Generation (1st Year)

"And, here's to hoping that I know what I'm doing." Emily teased, tapping the cauldron again in order to cool the brew. "I'm joking. I've seen this done loads of times at home." Now, remembering that, Emily relaxed. She lowered herself to her knees so that she could see the fire at the bottom shrink. "There, it's good." She checked the board.

"Careful Albus." Scorpius whispered nervously to his friend. Albus was being really careless with his potion and ingredients, and the contents of his cauldron were sloshing dangerously close to the edge, and bubbling because he had not turned down the heat. Albus leaned onto the table, bumping into his cauldron and sending the finished potion tilting forward. Jackson and Scorpius immediately lurched out of their seats, and moved away from the potion, but Albus stood she'll shocked and screamed out in pain as the boiling potion was doused all over his front. "Mr. Winnigan!" The two boys cried out in fear. "Everyone, get away from the potion!" The professor snapped, helping Albus to his feet with gloved hands. The kids stepped back, avoiding the liquid Forgetfulness, that was creeping along the floor towards them.

"Rebecca, can you put on those gloves behind you and help me escort Mister Potter to Madam Pomfrey's? He'll need immediate care to lessen the risks and after affects of the potion." Albus winced as Mr. Winnigan pulled him up onto his feet. His skin was burning from the boiling potion, and he felt like he'd been skinned raw. It didn't help that he felt extremely light-headed, and that he would pass out any minute.

"This is not good....." Alexander said, as he backed away from the potion. He looked around, bumped into few other first years, and stood still. He looked at Albus, and then at the potion. Right before this moment, he was opening the Potions classroom door, hoping he would have some good experience. However, his first Potions class wasn't so good. He slowly blended into the crowd, noticed by only few. Then, he observed the classroom slowly.

"You're lucky the Professor is too caught up, and didn't see you coming in late, or you'd be certain to get a detention." Jackson murmured quietly to Alexander, seeing him just walk into he classroom. "I'm Jackson, Jackson Solace. And you are?" He held out his hand for the Gryffindor boy to shake.

Alexander, looking quite frightened, looked at Jackson. "Alexander Iceberg." He replied. He slowly shaked Jackson's hand. He observed the classmates, and looked back at Jackson. "Which house are you in? I don't know this place very much." He added.

Mr. Winnigan lead the two students into the hallway after calling to the others, "You children now have a free period, do not cause ruckus while other classes are in session, or I'll have to speak with you personally." The 1st years cheered filing out of the classroom to go to their common rooms, or to hang out around the school, or on the grounds. Albus heard Rebbeca's voice and smiled dazedly. "I don't think I can make it that far..." Albus groaned looking glassy eyed at the pain that ricocheted through his body, he looked glassy eyed at Rebecca. "Who are you? And why are you in my room anyway? Mum was supposed to be helping me pack.... To.... To go to Hogwhhurts." Albus eyes drooped closed, as he rocked dangerously forward.

"Ah, great." Mumbled Alexander, as he walked towards the hallway, half disappointed that he didn't learn very much and half happy that he had the rest of the class free. However, he had to waste the free time. He didn't know the Gryffindor common room password. Standing there awkwardly, Alexander looked around, waiting for any Gryffindor to pass by or to open the portrait hole. However, when he realized that he class had ended earlier than others, he decided to just find other people to hang around with.

Rebecca sighs softly and wraps an arm around him to support him. "Shh... It's okay... I'll help you. And you are at Hogwarts Albus... And I'm your friend." She said softly while walking with him to the Hospital wing.

Albus looked up at Rebbeca like a lost puppy. "But I don't have any friends?" Albus' voice was filled with confusion, because a few days prior to coming to Hogwarts, he felt as if he had no friends and would never have any. When the temporary memory loss wore off, Albus would be without a doubt embarrassed and ashamed that he had said that in front of his teacher and Rebecca. "I mean, at least that's what James always teases me about." He looked down uncomfortably no longer wanting to talk. Professor looked away grimacing, pretending not to hear the boy's words. "Do you think you can handle him from here Miss Ross? I need to get back and keep an eye on your classmates, so that they don't cause trouble."

Jackson caught up with Alexander, walking side-by-side with him down the hallway. "So what do you wanna do, Iceberg? And to answer your previous question; I'm a Hufflepuff. I still think the Hat sorted me wrong though."

Rebecca nodded as she started walking with Albus slowly and carefully. "I should be sir. And that's not true Albus, you have friends. You have me and Scorpius Malfoy." She said while leading him to the hospital wing

"But I can't be friends with a Malfoy, dad will get upset, and more or less mum and James." Everyone in the family dislikes or hates the Malfoys, so why would I make myself the odd one out by befriending one?" Albus looked up once he saw Madam Pomfrey's. "Why are you taking me to a nurse's office, and why are you my friend anyway? You look way too pretty to be friends, let alone seen, with me."

Rebecca blushes a bit as she walks in with him and catches Madame Pomfrey's attention. "Well your friends with Malfoy because he isn't like his dad was. Plus your dad should be happy that you've made such good friends who are there for you. Also who cares what your older brother thinks. Your not him. You make your own choice. And we're here because you got hurt during potions." She said as Madame Pomfrey walking over. "Forgetfulness potion?" "Mhm." "Alright put him down over there and I'll get the remedy."

Emily looked back at her own cauldron, thinking that she should at least clean up, but, after what happened with Albus, Emily thought better of it and left Potions class alone. "I don't know what to do." The Sorting Hat said that I would be happy in Hufflepuff, but why? What the hat said just the night before scared her still. "I never thought of myself as weird." Emily mulled over what she would write in her letter all the way up to the Owlery. Finally, she just scribbled a note to her parents about her placement, what the Hat said, and the explosion in Potions, but nothing else. Once she sent a barn owl away with it, Emily left the Owlery and went out to read by the lake.

Alexander looked around. "Well, than the Hat's wrong with me, too. I never got any useful courage out of me.... HufflePuff sounded just like my type, though." He said, as he walked. "Anyway, what's the next class? Because, I lost my schedule somehow."

"Hmm, we have History of magic at 11." Jackson replied looking at his confusing schedule. "Let's go to the lake." Jackson walked off towards the lake and sat by Emily with a smile. "Hello, fellow Hufflepuff."

Albus watched as Madam Pomfrey got out a bunch of ingredients and mixed the together in a small portable cauldron. It reminded him of his mother whenever James pulled a slightly harmful prank on him or Lily. Madam Pomfrey got out a Popsicle stick and scooped a bit of the light blue paste up, and smeared it over the bridge of Albus' nose. "Give it a minute, and then he'll be fine. He'll be able to continue classes, but he may need some support." "What do you mean?" Albus mumbled, his head spinning as he inhaled the scent of the paste. "One of the side-affects is light headness a/o disorientation, young one." She replied stepping into her office to continue her previous work. (@Soul OMU )

Rebecca nods slightly. "Alright. Thank you Madam Pomfrey." She said while waving to her as she went back to her office and turned towards Albus who was on one of the beds so she sat down in a chair. "Your not very good at potion making are you?" She said softly with a small smile.

Albus smiled sheepishly covering his face with his arm. "I'm not good at multiple things." He replied quietly,

[QUOTE="Soul OMU]Rebecca rolls her eyes playfully while looking at him. "I doubt that." She said while smiling a bit.

"Then you have no idea." He replied sitting up, just to be hit hard with a short dizzy spell.

Rebecca watches him and hands him some water and Advil. "Here... These should help slightly." She said while passing him the glass and a pill.

Roaming the school, finding his way to the History of Magic classroom, Alexander almost entered the hospital wing. He stumbled, quickly backed away, and walked away as silently as he could. Hogwarts wasn't a small school as he expected it to be. He hated getting lost, and this place looked like getting lost was in his daily schedule.
