When the year starts we will begin on the train, and yes, we will do the Sorting Hat ceremony =D

It is the year 2017 , 19 years after the Great Battle and the defeat of Voldemort. Multiple kids from all over can be see boarding the train for their first or just another wonderful year at Hogwarts, but there's one group of families that stands out from the others...

These are the famous wizards who helped bring the fall of He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, Lord Voldemort. Among this group are their children, who they are sending off to go to the school that holds many memories deep in their hearts. They wish the a great and interesting year, but hopefully not as interesting as the years they had had.

It's a new year at Hogwarts, which means brand new faces, new relationships, new enemies, and new friends.

Albus hugged his tightly before climbing aboard the Hogwarts Express. He was nervous, no doubt, but he had his older brother standing beside him the entire time to help him get through his first nerve wracking school year at Hogwarts. "Come on Albus, we need to find an empty compartment before Cassie!" James yelled dragging his brother past rows and rows of filled compartments. "Ah, ha!" James yanked his brother into a seemingly empty compartment, only to see his best friend sitting across from him reading a book. She looked up with a smug smile as James sat down defeated. "Ha, I win." Then she proceeded to read her book. Albus smirked at his brother's crestfallen face as he sat down next to him. "So do you guys have any advice on how a first year can survive?" "Avoid Peeves at all cost." The two 2nd years replied in sync, "And don't stay on the stairs too long, or they'll shift and you'll be stuck." "Uh.. Okay."

Rebecca sighed softly as she got on the train with Garrett, having gotten driven here by one of their butlers but had to get to the platform by theirselves. "I still can't believe you had to do this alone..." She said softly while looking up at her brother who gave her a small grin. "It wasn't so bad... Anyways find a compartment that looks like they have nice kids and you'll have smooth sailing." She said as he left her and went to meet up with his friends. Rebecca sighed and made her way down the train, looking in each compartment for an empty seat before finding one with a girl and two boys in it, she opened it slightly. "Uhm excuse me? This that other seat taken?" She asked softly.

Rose smiled as she ran head first into platform 9 3/4 her mother and father followed after with Hugo jumping in with Hermione. Ron handed rose her luggage and Snow White cat she hugged him and her mother and picked up Hugo spinning him around ignoring her mothers words of "stop rose," she put him down and boarded the train she walked down until she found a compartment with one more seat. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door of the carriage. "May I sit here," she said boldly

The three kids looked up at Rebecca, Cassie and James greeted her with welcoming "Hi's", while Albus just gave her a small smile. "No this seat is not taken. Please, sit down, take a load off." James responded patting the seat on the other side of him. Cassie rolled her eyes, and smiled as another kid knocked on the compartment door. She opened it and grinned at James and Albus' cousin rose. "James, look who it is!" James peeked around Cassie and grinned at his younger cousin. "Hey Rosie, of course you can sit in here! I mean there's enough space for at least 8 people, and we're only at 4." He replied gesturing for her to come in.

Rebecca smiles a bit and makes her way in and sits beside Albus. "Oh okay, thank you." She said softly while blowing at her bangs as they fell back in her eyes slightly and she huffed slightly as she pulled them back.

Rose smiled gratefully at James and Albus and gave them both quick hugs before taking a seat and taking out her purse she wanted to be ready when the food cart came around. "Are you nervous Albus," she asked drumming her small fingers on the red seat.

In the shadows of the train station Daku gave his parents and sister each a kiss on the cheek in a silent goodbye not paying any mind to his mother when she slipped a vial of poison in his messenger bag. They had said their real goodbyes at home. Turning he slipped into the crowd his trunk floating behind him and headed to the train. His face was a mask of calmness but inside he felt slightly jittery with nerves. The only other time he had been away from his family for more than a week was when he was sent to the Juvenal detention center for two months for blowing up a mail box. He denied nothing.

However he didn't know if this would be as enjoyable. He soon made it onto the train and began looking for a compartment ignoring the way people backed away from him and out of reach of Omens snapping beak who sat on his head blending in with the long black locks he currently had. He had been presently surprised when he found out Omen enjoyed the taste of blood.

Now if only he could find a compartment.

James huffed as Rebecca sat next to Albus instead of him. "Does no one like me or something?" "Hey, James your finally starting to catch on." Cassie teased putting her book down next to her on the seat. "Hi, nice to meet you I'm Cassie, Cassie Walsh." Cassie greeted Rebecca smiling. "And I'm James Potter, son of the Boy Who Lived." James winked at Rebecca, and Cassie rolled her eyes. But this time it wasn't a playful eyeroll, instead it was filled with annoyance. "Please, feel free to whack the bloody git upside the head with the first thing you see."

Albus looked uncomfortably at Rose smiling sheepishly. Was it that obvious that he was a split second from crying for his father, or jumping out of this train. "Nervous?" He squeaked, "No, not at all. Where did you get that idea from Rosie?"

Rebecca smiles a bit back at Cassie. "It's nice to meet you all. Well most of you... I'm Rebecca Ross." She said softly while rolling her eyes slightly at James. "Don't worry, I know who you are. My brother warned me about you." She said while shifting slightly.

Daku once again knocked on the door to a compartment and waited patiently for it to open. He had been to thirteen different compartment already and was getting slightly impatient. Who knew finding a compartment to sit in would be so hard?

"Just your blushing cheeks and the sweat pooling on your forehead," Rose laughed playfully at Albus and turned to Rebecca and Cassie "Hi I'm Rose Jane Granger-Weasly daughter of Hermoine and Ron pleased to make your aquantince," she said old fashionly before callapsing in a fit of giggles " Who are you two?," she asked her eyes shining with curiosity

A knock sounded at the door "Come in, anyone's welcome," she yelled loudly turning her full attention to the figure outside the door "Oh it better not be you Malfoy," she thought to herself

Cassie smiled briefly at Rose. "I'm a family friend of the Potters. James is my best friend, he never stops talking about the Weasleys." She giggled focusing back on Rebecca and James as he frowned at her comment.

"Well, I don't like where this is going." "You never like where anything goes that puts you in a bad light dorkus." Cassie retorted in a "duh" voice. James rolled his eyes, mimicking her. "Honestly Cas, can you stop attacking me for one minute? It's quite irritating." Albus winced know exactly where this conversation was headed. It always ended with one of them storming out of the room, and then they wouldn't talk to each other for the majority or a whole day. "Hey, how about we all get some Chocolate Frogs and trade cards?" Albus suggested as the food cart came around. "Me? I'm attacking you!" Cassie yelled angrily in disbelief.

Jackson walked down the train stopping beside Daku at a compartment, he heard the yelling from inside and winced. Well this isn't going to be good. He thought with a hint of amusement.

Rebecca sighed softly and closed her eyes as she looked out the window. 'This is going to be a long train ride... Maybe I can go see my brother.' she thought as she tilted her head and looked towards the door. "It's open!" She said while looking at the two boys there. "We have room if that's what your asking." She said softly while watching them.

Albus sighed as the two continued to yell at each other back and forth. "I think I'll just stand out here until things cool down." Jackson replied to Rebecca, not wanting to get in between the feuding best friends. He didn't have to wait long though, as James stood up glaring at Cassie and stormed out of the compartment to go sit with some friends from quidditch.

Jackson stepped cautiously into the little space sitting next to a red faced Cassie. "Hey." "What." She replied sharply not turning to look at Jackson. "You know, if you keep scowling like that you'll get forehead wrinkles, right?" Cassie rolled her eyes smiling briefly at the stupid comment, then she was back to scowling, but it was as intense and was more half-hearted now. "I love and hate that stupid idiot so much." She grumbled flopping back into her seat.

Rebecca bit her lip as she said nothing and dug into her bag to get out a book which was written by a muggle author. "...i-im guessing that happens a lot... Uhm... Al?" She asked to the other boy cautiously, not sure what his name was since he didnt say.

Daku was slightly startled by the sudden yells that imitated from the compartment and the actions that followed but nevertheless took a seat when invited in. Even if the wording was less than elegant. His truck floated to seat itself on the rack above as he took a seat in an empty empty spot."Thank you for inviting us into your compartment and company. My name is Daku Addams its a pleasure to meet you."

Rose litereally stopped breathing she took one look into Daku's eyes and her body shut down he didn't need to introduce himself she already knew exactly who he was she turned to face Albus who was as placid as always and mouthed "Help Me" to him she then turned back to Daku and her breathing returned but one of her memories did as we'll

Rose is sitting in her bedroom listening to her bedroom wall her parents are arguing "She needs an education Ron," Hermione yelled at Ron "Send her somewhere else, If you send her to Hogwarts he will kill her, I can't let my princess get hurt," He shouted "Prophecys are always right, if it's in the hall it's true, it doesn't matter if we send her or not it will still come true," Hermionr replied angrily. "I can't let my daughter get killed by that red eyed beast called Daku," Ron shouted to hermione.

"Rose Iris granger-Weasly," Rose said shaking Daku's pale hand

Albus smiled. "My name's Albus, but feel free to call me Al. And to answer your question, yes that happens a lot. I think it's the whole teenager thing." "Oh shut up Albus, you don't anything." Cassie replied jokingly.

Jackson leaned back in the seat watching the other kids' interactions feeling no need to join in now that the girl was no longer upset. He had a soft spot for upset people, sue him. He raised an eyebrow at the panicked look in Rose's face as she saw Daku. Well things just keep getting more interesting. He thought crossing his arms.

"I know enough to know that you have a crush on my brother." Albus teased back, not noticing the stone cold look that had spread across Cassie's face. "No I don't." She replied coolly looking out the window. "Yes you do Cas, I've seen the way you look and talk about him." "You don't know anything Albus. So why don't you mind your own business." Cassie hissed, not looking at him.

Cassie didn't intend to be so rude to everyone on their first day to Hogwarts, but James' and her friendship had been very rock since the end of school last year, and over the summer when he ditched her multiple time for his pureblood friends. And now when discussing their friendship, you had to approach the subject like it was a minefield or you just might set one of the 12 year olds off.

Rebecca sighed softly and closed her eyes. "I have a wonderful idea... Why dont we just drop it and get to know the new people.. Also nice to meet you Al, Daku... And you are?" She said as she looked at Jackson.

Robert was moving around the train, amazed by all the different things he saw. It was like he was in a candy shop. Deep down he was a little scared, but his parents had given him a magic ring that let them know if he was in danger, so they could appear with him, so it calmed him down. He kept the ring on a chain around his neck as he walked. "Wow, this is amazing." Rob was looking into each compartment, not looking infront of him as he ran into Albus. "Oh! Sorry!"

"Its a pleasure to meet you Rose and Al." Daku said shaking Roses hand and nodding to Al. He was slightly uncomfortable using Albus nickname but Place told him that's what friends seemed to do with one another and he very much wanted to be their friend. Leaning back in his seat as Rose and Rebecca turned their attention to the unknown boy he was almost sure was a fellow pure blood though these days its gotten harder to tell the difference. Quietly he observed their interactions and took note of their little quirks after all friends need to know these things about each other. Friends he liked that thought he never really had friends that he wasn't related to in some way.

Jackson up at Rebecca curiously, inspecting her before he spoke. "I'm Jackson, Jackson Solace. I'm not quite fond of nick-names though." He responded with a subtle smile. "And you're Rebecca? Correct?"

Albus sighed buying multiple types of snacks from the food cart -included lots of Chocolate Frogs and Betty Bott's Every Flavour Beans-, no longer wanting to participate in the art of conversing.
