hello, i'm jo! she/they, 26 y/o cat mom + show and video game liker. currently trying to learn art but MAN it's hard! GMT+2 or +3 i don't keep track anymore tbh.

i've gotten the itch to use a few characters of mine who haven't seen the light in a while, so here i am!

right off the bat: please only contact me if you're 18+, preferably 21+! also, please note i'm not comfortable with any main characters being under the age of 21 in my roleplays.

  • 3rd person, past or present tense! whichever you vibe more with. i can go from like 300 to 2k words depending on the situation, and i love writing out my characters' thoughts and feelings.

  • my favorite plots and settings include anything involving magical shenanigans: supernatural, high/low/modern fantasy, whatever! i'm totally still up for other genres like sci-fi and slice of life and stuff, but the plot's gotta be interesting!

  • however, i'm currently particularly craving something futuristic/cyberpunk-y or something with royals, so chuck those at me if you've got 'em!

  • that being said, i adore ooc talk! even if i can't reply to the story at the moment, i'm more than happy chatting with you about things inside and outside (if you're comfy with that) the rp! please let me subject you to memes and boards and songs related to our roleplay and characters. (this is sort of a requirement because i've found that no matter how good the story/characters are, not being able to engage with the person i'm writing with really takes the fun out of it for me.)

  • i'm not at all picky about word count, quality > quantity, BUT i ask that you at least give me more than one line and try to give me something to work with!​
  • collaborate with me! i enjoy working with my partner to create the world/plot/whatever instead of dragging them through detailed premade settings. also, if you're not feeling something i've suggested, don't be afraid to tell me! i really won't mind. this is supposed to be fun for both of us!​
  • asking if you're not sure about something is totally okay, but please don't try to push something i already said i don't like/want onto me, like m/f or unhealthy relationships.​
  • i'd prefer if you pm me rather than comment on this thread! also, please don't just say 'hi, i'm interested' etc. tell me about yourself and what you like/want to do!​

  1. character A is a fallen angel who has recently been kicked out of heaven. character B is a human delinquent who’s known for causing trouble. character A decides to take B under their wing and attempt to reform them as a way to get back into heaven and regain angel status. who will influence whom in this situation? alternatively: character B is a literal demon instead of a human delinquent, for extra Angel Points
     
     
  2. character A is a (21+) student at a magic academy. every student has a unique familiar tied to them that they can summon. but when character A attempts to summon their familiar, they somehow end up summoning a demon, character B, instead. they are now tied together, and now A has to find a way to unlink with B while somehow passing B off as their familiar. this is made particularly difficult because B doesn’t feel like cooperating.
     
     alternatively: character A is a (21+) student at a magic academy who is known to excel at pretty much every subject, sacrificing socializing for studies. however, when character B transfers to the same academy and is able to not only keep up with but also surpass A academically despite caring less about academics and more about having fun, an intense rivalry forms. (note: the rivalry can be reciprocated or just one-sided from A.)
     
     
  3. vampires have taken over society and now control everything whilst humans are treated like cattle and blood banks. however, there is a hidden human rebellion group that wants to dethrone the vampires and make things better for humans. one day, their leader, character A, is captured and taken to some of the top vampire 'leaders' to be interrogated on the rest of the rebellion's whereabouts. plot twist: turns out one of the vampire leaders, character B, and this captured rebel were actually best friends before the vampires took over, and they had both thought the other was dead. old feelings crop up, morality is questioned, confusion and frustration galore.
     
     
  4. there have been more and more rumors and alleged sightings of vampires cropping up lately, so character A, a 'vampire hunter' is hired to take care of them. thing is, vampires are a relatively new thing and the humans don’t have them completely figured out yet, so the vampire hunter is given a vampire partner, character B (who probably has something on them like special handcuffs made of some material that's like kryptonite to vampires so they can't try any funny stuff) to help in tracking down vampires and generally figuring out what they’re all about. getting along immediately is probably not in the cards for these two.
     
     
  5. a dnd-like adventure where a pair or group of people are aiming for the same goal, whether it be a sacred treasure or otherwise, and decide to work together. personalities clash, infighting ensues, and irreplaceable memories are made along the way! (craving this!)
     
     
  6. character A is a thief who’s been stealing from people for years. character B is a bounty hunter hired to kill them. but when B finally corners A, but unbeknownst to either of them, the pendant A recently stole is one of magic, and they find out the hard way that A can now feel any pain inflicted on B and vice versa. they must now begrudgingly work together to find a release from this curse and reluctantly protect each other, because with this curse, death for one means death for both.
     
     
  7. i also have an android character who’s on the run because the people who created him now want to destroy him (he was being a little too silly and killed an ally). more details if you want them, but it’d be cool to write him against a human/mechanic/bounty hunter/another android!
