After you have done that, you can head over to the Roleplays board for all of your roleplaying needs. You can create new roleplays for one on one or group settings, propose your own ideas, and join other roleplays!

Hey Roxtrox, just joined up myself. What sort of role play are you interested in?

I'll roleplay just about anything. I can't say I have a type I prefer; it all depends on what catches my interest haha. I tend to lean towards fantasy and sci-fi rps most often. World building is my favorite part of writing so I love rps that spend time fleshing out the setting. In general I'm not a super fast rper. Like maybe a post a day unless I'm really in the groove. Idk if any of this is really helpful haha.

Same here, actually. I try to keep the genres open but somehow I always wind up going back to fantasy/sci-fi. Any series in particular strike your fancy? Oh man, tell me about it! I've written up a few dozen more role plays than I've actually started, so there is always that =P Yeah, definitely! Don't worry about helpful, I'm just hoping to get to know some people in the community.

There's always so much that can be done in Fantasy/sci-fi that it's hard to break away haha. I totally suck at rping as established characters so I tend not to do fandom rps, though I will if it's the world or rules applied to a new story with new characters. Pokemon and Digimon are usually really good for that.


What else... um... I like slice or life/relationship stuff. I like a bit of comedy and levity so hardcore dark drama tends not to work out for me.


What kind of rps do you like?

Yeah, I can totally agree with that. I never feel like I can do an existing character justice, and there are are so few that I really want to play. I love seeing takes on series with set and interesting rules for character ability, though I haven't seen the stuff that I usually like anywhere, so there is that. I guess sci-fi and fantasy are just such broad terms that it'll provide plenty of different ground to explore.


Yeah, definitely. I can enjoy a nuanced story, but for me it's more the inability of several writers to consistently make that dark setting interesting enough to want to be part of.


I'm really into things that are full of adventure and tend to be over-the-top. Rarely go for too realistic, it's just not my style. I'll try just about anything that an rp partner wants to to.
