Hijack/Frostcup Roleplay (Private)

Cutie Pines
Hello! So, let's talk AUs. I have a great many up my sleeve, but if none interest you, the fallbacks are usually spirit!Jack coming to bring winter to Berk and meeting Hiccup, or both of them being mortals, either in the modern era or the Viking era. Would you like to hear some AUs?

Okay, let's get down to business:

1. Forbidden: In this AU, Hiccup was taken as well as Valka, so he was raised by his mother in the dragon sanctuary. Jack is a Viking on Berk, and to put it simply, he is an angry hormonal mess of a teenage boy. He is picked on the others for his scrawniness, and his father, Northern Overland, is very overprotective, refusing to let him outside during raids after the death of Jack's mother and sister a few years before. One night, Jack sneaks out, and manages to shoot down the rarest breed of dragon, a Night Fury, but he is unable to locate where he shot it down. Little did he know, the dragon's name was Toothless, and on his back was Hiccup. Since Valka had told him about Berk, saying that his father had lived there and telling him a whole bunch of lies so he'd stay in the sanctuary, where he was safe, Hiccup had snuck out to go see the village that should have been his home. He arrived during the raid, and Jack shot them down. While fleeing from the village in a rage, Jack stumbles across the cove, where Hiccup and Toothless crash-landed after they were shot down. Though wary of the stranger, Jack is intrigued. After all, Hiccup is like nothing he's ever seen.

2. Therapy: Hiccup and Jack meet at a group therapy thing for people with depression. Since Jack was very small, he was just ignored. His parents were loving enough, but often were much too busy to provide any kind of support. He tried to make friends and develop relationships with adults at school or that his parents knew, but they just walked right past him as if he hadn't tried. As if he hadn't existed. It was like he was invisible. In that sense, the only one to really see him was Emma, his little sister. She knew him and loved him and he loved her right back, to the point that it hurt like hell whenever anything happened to her. He needed her love and support just as much as she needed his and when she passed away due to illness, things got bad. Very bad. Isolation is the worst kind of torture and his parents never even knew until he had an emotional break down at school. So, his mother signed him up for the therapy session, which Jack had been attending for months. He made a few budding friendships and tried to let some skeletons roam free, but it just isn't working right. These people, they seem too good to actually be real, to actually know the hell he lived through. He doesn't doubt them, not at all, it just feels... surreal. Even more so when Hiccup joins the group because, Lord above, Picasso himself never created something as beautiful as him. It's like there's this glow surrounding him. He's got bags under his eyes, his hands shake, his eyes can't seem to settle on one place, he's so thin that he's practically a ghost and his bottom lip is torn apart from him constantly gnawing on it, but Jack is completely mesmerized .

3. Lost and Found: Jack lives in a decently sized house, with his father, North, and a few of his father's old friends who needed somewhere to stay. Sandy, a mute man who wrote lovely bedtime stories, Aster, an extremely tall and extremely muscular man who babysat to make his money, but also painted on the side, and Ana, a doctor/dentist and a new mother, abandoned by her husband to raise the child on her own. They're an odd little family, but they're close as can be, and they all have their own little jobs around the house. North does the cooking, Sandy does the cleaning, Aster tends to the garden, Ana keeps everyone in good health, and Jack just helps out wherever help is needed. One day, he's helping Aster in the garden, and he realizes that every time he turns around, a few strawberries are missing. The bushes rustle, and Jack can tell that something is hiding inside. So, he calls over Aster, and the burly man reaches in, and pulls out...a boy. A boy who's thin as a twig and so covered in dirt that they can't even know what color his skin is. His clothes are tattered and stained, and his hair is filthy. His ankle seems pretty badly injured, and his eyes practically scream wild. He seems terrified, but with a few words from Jack and the strawberries pressed into his palm, he relaxes, allowing them to help him inside, all of them wondering who the strange boy is, and how he came to be in their strawberry patch. However, he seems to be unable to talk and can barely understand them, babbling and hiccuping whenever he gets nervous.

These are just a few. I just didn't want you to think I'd logged off.

4. Nightmares: Back in the day, Hiccup and Jack used to date. They knew there would be complications, what with Hiccup being a mortal Viking and Jack being an immortal spirit, but they loved each other too much to worry. They were going to enjoy the time they had together, and viewed the world in an optimistic light. That is, until Hiccup passed away far too young. Jack was heartbroken, and couldn't return to Berk due to all the memories it held. He never forgot Hiccup, never moved on, never had his head turned by anyone else. Hiccup was the only one he'd ever love. Three hundred years passed, and Jack became a Guardian. Little did he know that Pitch, their enemy, had a plan to take advantage of the newest Guardian. While confronting the Guardians in Tooth Palace, Pitch turned to Jack, stating that he had a little surprise, a welcome gift, in a way. The shadows behind him melt to form a petite boy, auburn hair turned black and his skin tinted grey, his emerald eyes cut into sections by bars of gold, rings of a similar color circling the outer rim of his iris and his pupil, almost like a jail cell trapping the color inside. A million memories come racing back and Jack nearly collapses on the spot. Hiccup? With his beloved so close to being in his grasp, he becomes desperate. He's not thinking straight. He cuts a deal with the Nightmare King, getting him to exchange Hiccup for a favor, to be decided in the future. Pitch agrees, and hands Hiccup over. But Hiccup isn't who he once was. He's barely alive, knows nothing but instinct, and doesn't know who Jack is. Jack has to teach him everything he once knew, remind him who he was, and chase away the nightmares that Pitch has left him with.

5. Different Worlds: Hiccup is a Borrower, a tiny person who lives inside the house of a norman human, scavenging little trinkets and surviving by using them. He's small even by Borrower standards - the average is about four inches and a half inches, and Hiccup just barely reaches three; he's even smaller compared to his father, who is a Borrower giant at six inches - and his father is hesitant to let him go explore since he's so small. What sets Hiccup apart is that his mother was a fairy, so he has fairy blood in him. He has no wings and his magic isn't powerful, but if he has a burst of a particularly strong emotion, there will also be a burst of magic. Jack is a fairy, eternally curious about the big people that they aren't allowed to go near. However, he's a rebellious frost fairy, so he sneaks off to have a peek, and ends up getting trapped inside a big person's house during a storm. He's hiding, frightened and alone, when a tiny human walks into the room, pulling bristles out of the brushes and collecting paper clips. The tiny person notices him, and promptly freaks out because oh my gods, there's a fairy in the house! He volunteers to show Jack around and explain the ways of the Borrowers while the storm has Jack trapped, and during the few days the storm lasts, a bond forms. But they're from other worlds. Jack has responsibilities as a frost fairy and Hiccup is doomed to spending his life scavenging. Neither side wants them to be together, so what are the two beloveds to do?

6. Social Spectrum: Jack is, by the high school stereotypes, a punk. He wears the dark clothing, his hair is dyed eternally white, and he gives off a don't fuck with me vibe that generally keeps people from messing with him. Hiccup, on the other hand, is by all means a nerd. He's a straight A student, loves to read, and spends all his spare time researching and building various devices. They're on opposite ends of the social spectrum, and have never had any reason to talk to each other. (Although, if they're being honest, Jack has always thought Hiccup was adorable, and Hiccup always thought Jack was very handsome.) However, when they're assigned a project together in their Sociology class, a project designed purely to get students to learn more about each other, they're forced to interact. Hiccup quickly learns that Jack isn't the cold individual that he appears to be, and Jack realizes that there is darkness in Hiccup's life that no one suspects. Despite being different, they're exactly what each other needs: a compassionate soul, and a loving protector.

I can provide more if none of them interest you, but I'll just offer them for now.

Okay, I'm back!

7. Daddy's Little Boy: Jack has always been a good boy. He's had some brilliant ideas for pranks and always longed for a bit of mischief, but despite the urge to cause a little chaos, he's always followed all the rules. He's a good role model, a "perfect" child, the type of boy you'd want to bring home to your mother. Hiccup was quite the opposite. He was absolutely tiny, but despite this, he was somehow the muscles out of his group of friends. He wasn't mean, not in the slightest, but he could be quite intimidating when he wanted to be, and if someone wanted to fight, that could be arranged. He was rebellious, always sneaking out and running wild. Jack had always admired his boldness, and found himself fortunate enough to be living across the street from the (far too adorable) rebel. However, he had never been able to gather the courage to actually approach the other boy, and spent his high school years pining over his secret crush but never talking to him. That is, until his senior year. Hiccup had never appeared to notice him, so you can understand Jack's surprise when he wakes up in the middle of the night to find Hiccup climbing through his window, emerald eyes glowing in the dark. "I need to borrow your car."

8. Don't Need a Babysitter: Hiccup, at fifteen, is extremely annoyed that his father deems it necessary to get him a babysitter. He doesn't need a babysitter. He's a perfectly responsible teenager, he doesn't drink, he doesn't sneak out, he doesn't smoke. However, when he lays eyes on his babysitter, he's a little less bothered, because Jack, the eighteen year old from a few streets away, is far too attractive to be real. Not only is he more handsome than should be legal, but he turns out to actually be a rather cool babysitter, very lenient and mischievous, so Hiccup begins to enjoy having him around. Naturally, a crush formed almost immediately, but Hiccup kept it smushed down, not wanting to make things awkward between them and figuring that Jack wouldn't like him anyway. Besides, Jack is technically an adult, even if he's only a few months over eighteen, and Hiccup is still a minor. If such a thing ever were to happen, Jack could get in serious trouble. Secretly, though, Jack feels the same way Hiccup does, and when he's babysitting him one day, watching a movie, he can't help himself and kisses him.

Okay, sounds good! To pass the time, I'm going to tell you a few modern!Hiccup headcanons of mine.

1. His ears are a sensitive point. If they are kissed/nibbled in anyway, he mewls like a little kitten! <3

2. Valka wanted a big family, but due to the complications during her pregnancy with Hiccup, they decided it was safer to adopt, and adopted Hiro and Vanellope.

3. Hiccup's family is very wealthy.

4. Toothless is a domestic cat/panther mix, and no one is really sure how Hiccup came to own him. Hiccup's riding dragon from the books, Windwalker, is a horse.

5. Hiccup is a fantastic horseback riding, as was his mother.

6. Valka went missing a few months after the adoption of Hiro and Vanellope. Hiccup was six at the time.

7. Due to Valka being a virtuoso, Hiccup is able to play both violin and piano.

8. Hiccup is actually a really good skateboarder, but he doesn't show it off.

9. One of the rooms in the Haddock manor has been transformed into a workshop for Hiccup.

10. Jump-scares in movies/games never startle Hiccup, but the atmosphere unsettles him greatly.

-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-

Hiccup never had been very good at paying attention. No matter the situation, all it took was one mildly interesting thought, and his mind was off. Whether it be about whether there was a way for humans to fly, or an idea for a new invention, it didn't take much to distract him. So, it was understandable that his teachers frequently had to say his name more than once to get his attention. Currently, he sat in his Sociology classroom, his gaze out the window and his mind currently wandering the forest behind his house. "Hayden!" Mrs. Porter, the teacher, snapped for the third time, causing him to jolt and nearly knock over his book with elbow. He caught it just in the nick of time, his face flushing red as snickers ran through the classroom. He set the book down, glancing around before responding. "Um, y-yes?" He asked, nervously fiddling with his glasses. Mrs. Porter sighed and rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her hips. "I said that your partner for this project is Jack," She informed him, mild irritation in his voice as she gestured toward a rather punk-esque looking boy, "Well? Go sit with him!" The tips of Hiccup's ears turned red as he nodded, gathering his things and moving into the empty seat beside the ludicrously attractive boy. He kept his head down as Mrs. Porter finished pairing people up, then handing out project descriptions. Hiccup read over it quickly, his emerald eyes flying across the page before he set it on the desk. Apparently, it was all about getting to know a stranger, someone different from himself.

Jack rested his chin in his hand as he listened to the teacher drone on and on; he frowned as he realized the teacher was pairing people up, great...he had to get to work with someone. He listened for his name being called and who he would be partnered up with and heard Hiccup's name being called as well, at least it wasn't one of these other idiots he guessed. A sigh escaped his lips as as the teacher explained this was a social experiment to get to know each other, this was going to be fun. The white-haired boy watched as Hiccup's eyes sped across the page, then again he wasn't surprised since the kid was the smartes in the class; he had the grades to prove it.

Hiccup laid the paper down, folding his hands in his lap and biting his lip. "Now, you will have today to work in class, but after this you won't have class time, so you will have to work together outside of school," Mrs. Porter continued, earning groans from the majority of the class. Hiccup, however, remained silent. The idea didn't really bother him, and even if it did, it would be rude to express that in front of his partner. "Get starter!" Mrs. Porter called, taking a seat at her desk. After a moment of hesitance, Hiccup turned to face Jack, managing a nervous smile. "Uh, hi," He greeted with an anxious chuckle, adjusting his glasses. Technically they weren't his own prescription, since they were his mother's glasses, but they were about the same, so he didn't care.

Jack rolled his eyes at the collective groans around the room, finding it a little rude but didn't let it bother him since none of the groans were directed to getting to know him at least; he sat back and looked at Hiccup. "Sup." He nodded in greeting, the other seemed to be nervous and figured it had to do with how he acted sometimes.

"So, uh, okay! Let's get started!" Hiccup stated with that same awkwardness, obviously not used to social interaction of any kind. He spent the majority of his time at home, and tried not to strike up too many conversations. He just wasn't a people person. That wasn't to say he didn't have friends, because he did, but the process of making them was difficult for him. He pulled over the question packet, reading off the first one. "Okay, um, how old are you, and when is your birthday?"

Jack sat back. "Seventeen and my birthday is January fourteenth." He replied. "What about you?" He asked, curious. Jack wasn't very social himself either; he didn't have many friend himself.

Hiccup nodded, scrawling down he answer in the designated spot, since they were supposed to take record of the information they learned. "Oh, ah, sixteen, and February twenty-ninth," He replied, reaching to rub the back of his neck. He'd been born on Leap Year, as unfortunate as it was. As far as the few people that knew were concerned, it just made him even weirder. They claimed that his birthday made him destined to be a weirdo.

Jack smiled. "Ah, a leap baby, so sometimes you just have to celebrate it on the twenty-eight or the first of March." He said. "That's pretty cool, I mean sure...your birthday is only like every four years but still." He chuckled a little.

Hiccup blinked a few times as Jack spoke, tilting his head and playing with his sleeve. "Cool?" He repeated in mild surprise, before breaking out in a grin, "Yeah, I guess." He reached up, tucking a lock of auburn hair behind his ear before turning back to the question sheet. "Okay, so next question...uh...what's your favorite food?

Jack put his head in his hand and thought about it. "Hard to say...." He said after a moment. "I have a lot of favorite foods, but I mostly like cookies and pizza." He said. "Sometimes I prefer macaroni and cheese...I don't know, it just depends I guess, whatever I'm in the mood for."

Hiccup nodded, writing indecisive (depends on mood) in the designated area. He then lowered his pencil, thinking for a moment. "As for me...the strawberries my mother used to grow," He stated with a small nod, "Best in the world, without a doubt." He pushed up his classes, which had slid down his nose. Again, they weren't actually his own, they were his mother's, but what did it matter?
