Rye woke up, the sweet scent of dew coming into her room. Her first day at college, she was excited, nervous, strangely confident. All she was was a tiny fish in a big pond. Starting all over again in her Arts and Agriculture studies. She smiled, pulling on her normal ensemble: A Tee, and her black skinnies. Her converse just tucking under the hem of her jeans. She walked downstairs. She called for her room-mate Kim, "I'm going to College today, so excited!" she said, Kim walking into the hall. "Whoa, Rye seriously! Just got up, let me relax, eat et cetera!" she smiled. Rye rolled her eyes. She flipped the eggs over. "A nutritious breakfast, always important!" Rye plopped the baco, eggs, sausages and sauce on both of their plates. "You take nutrition seriously I see..." Kim smirked. "Do remember, I'm going to college too, that same one as you. No need to get all hyper excited!"

Lily woke up to her alarm clock and smiled she jumped out of bed and got dressed in denim shorts and a red shoulder top. she raced into the kitchen kissing her mum on the cheek, she put her red hair band into her hair and quickly ate breakfast, then she raced to the bus stop

Max woke up with a yawn as he gazed around at his almost empty room since most of his stuff had been moved into a dorm the college provided. He sighed as he got out of bed and began his daily chores. Once he was done he walked out the bathroom putting his vest on over his shoulder. As he walked downstairs he wasn't surprised to hear the car driving off. "I wouldn't expect him to send me off anyway" he said sighing pouring a bowl of cereal.

Lily got on the bus and put her head phones in, listening to her own songs so find ways to improve it, on the bus ride she wrote down how she could, bass here, less here and such. She got out of the bus and went straight to the music room.

Jessica groaned as her little sister, Addie jumped on top of her, abruptly waking her up. "You're leaving today! You're leaving today!" Addie shrieked. Sitting up with a yawn, *she smiled. Her first day of college. Never before had she been this anxious but yet excited at the same time. Jess pushed her little sister off and stood up, dragging her out of the room with a small chuckle. "You little sneak, you're not excited because of college at all. All you want is my room!" she said as she closed the door. "Not true!" Addie yelled. "But I still get it..right?" Jess shook her head as she walked to her bathroom and took a shower, racing to dry her hair and to put on her outfit; A glittery black tank top, some skinny jeans ripped at a knee, and some simple black vans.

"Honey, come down for some breakfast before you leave!" called out her mom from downstairs. "Alright!" she said as she took a final look in the mirror, already starting to feel butterflies in her stomach. Taking a A deep breath, she raced down the stairs.

"Kimmy, we gotta hurry. We've gotta walk." Rye rolled her eyes. "You do know it's across the road, right?" Kim said. "Shuddup." Rye replied quickly and defensively. Rye sighed and tugged on her jacket. "Done!" she pulled on her satchel. Her motorbike was outside, but it was out of fuel. "Rye, c'mon! Now who's being slow?" "Well, I'm not ready..." Rye put her bag over her shoulder. "But I'll beat ya to school!" Kim didn't hurry. She slowly walked out the door, closed and locked it and walked along the foot-path. A car came zooming past. "That guy's in a rush, god."

After he was done eating he cleaned out the bowl thoroughly like his father had drilled into his head as he gave one last look at the house. He walked to the door grabbing his hat and strapped backpack and walked out of the house locking the door. "Well here we go" he said a bit nervous as he began walking on the sidewalk.

Lily started playng her song, and singing along, to practice for the rec room, the principle had hired to her be live entertainment, much to the displesure of some of her rivals. Lily danced around he room, doing her routine and singing the whole time.

Rye sighed. "Hurry. Up. Kimberly. Washington!!" Rye teased. Kim hated her named. "Shut up Ryelyn McKavanagh!"Rye stopped and ran back. "Don't say my first name. It's all weird and..." Rye saw a cute guy on the foot path in front of a house that cut her off. "Ooh, Ryelyn's got the hots for a random guy!"

Max saw two girls behind hmi as he was leaving but decided he might not get bothered if he missed with them as he adjusted his glasses trying to think about the bright side of college. "Well I won't be living with my dad anymore" which was all he needed to think as he felt a little less nervous.

After being scolded for eating too fast, Jessi washed her plate and ran upstairs. "Sorry!" she said halfway up the steps. Reaching her room, she grabbed her bag and her car keys from her desk nearby. "This is it..." she thought. "I'll no longer get to call this my room." With a shrug, she took one last look in front of the mirror and headed back downstairs. Saying goodbye to everyone once again, with multiple teary kisses from her mom, she finally stepped outside. Breathing in the cool air, she got into her car and turned the key, hearing a familiar purr from her car. Looking back at her house one more time as her family waved, she gave them a smile and sped away; getting more and more excited with each passing moment. Before she knew it, she was in the huge school's parking lot, looking for a decent space.

Max looked up at the school stopping at the front doors taking in one last breath before opening the doors to see the halls lined with kids already.

Kim and Rye stepped into the school grounds. "It's... big." said Rye, breaking to astonished silence. "Very big." Kim added. They walked into the halls and saw the kids. There were already the cliques assigned. The goth, emos, jocks, nerds. Rye rushed right to the nerd clique. "Bye Kim!" Kim waved awkwardly. She didn't really have a clique. "uh... the photography clique?" she walked over to them. They welcomes her with opened arms. You couldn't say the same for Rye.

Max walked through the halls awkwardly seeing all the cliques and other social groups but kept his focus in front of him. "It's not that he didn't want to be friends with them but it never worked well in the past when he tried. "He gave one more sigh as he continued walking trying to find his dorm when he glanced up noticing the girl from earlierr in a nerd group but he looked back down at his feet,

"What?" Rye asked defensively. "Whadya mean I can't join your club?" she asked again, an angry tone to her voice. Rye grunted and walked past everyone. She grabbed Kim. "You and I and anyone else are in the loner clique." she said blankly. "But if anyone else is in, we're not loners..." "You know what I mean Kim."

Max noticed her running by and got a bit curious picking his feet up blushing as he heard his shoes begin to scrape across the floor. As he looked around he noticed his dorm was in a bigger building a little better looking than some of them. "This must be what I get for having a buisness man dad" he said ebginning to walk towards it passing up the two girls again as he reached for the exit to leave the main building.

Locking her car, she stood in front of the pathway that led up to the school, in awe. Never before had she thought a school looked so amazing. Shaking the thought away, she started up the pathway and opened the door to the main office, seeing the hallway filled with busy looking students. Going up to the counter, she asked to see if she needed to fill put any more paper work, and about her dorm number. Looking back down at the hallway, she studied the faces of the people she'd be in school with.

Nicky groaned as his alarm clock went off. 7 o clock? What is this? He threw off the covers and took a look around his usually messy room. It was surprisingly empty. "MOM! I'VE BEEN ROBBED!" he yelled down to his mother. She came upstairs looking tired. "What on earth are you talking about Nicky?" He pointed to his empty room. "Nicholas Pecci, did you forget?" His blank face must've given him away. "College? Today's your first day." Nicky smacked himself on the head. "Crap, I gotta go take a shower." He kissed his mother on the cheek and jumped into the shower.

Later, he ran downstairs, dressed and showered. His sister's toddler, Kelsey, was sitting at the kitchen table drawing. "Hiya, kiddo," he said to his niece. She looked upa dn shouted "NICKY!" He laughed and kissed her on the cheek. He saw his mother talking to his twenty-four year old sister, Stephanie. "Hey, Steph" he said. "Hey, Nicky. Today's the big day, huh?" He nodded. "I gotta go. I'll call you later, mom." With that, he walked out the door and into his car. Then, he started his way down to the school.

After getting all the info she needed she walked down the halls curiously looking at all the classrooms. All of them lined, they seemed to go on for ages and ages. Running a hand through her black hair, she looked at the seemingly Chinese map of the college. "Great..." she said loudly. At this pace, finding her dorm seemed impossible. "Suck it up.." she thought. She was going to do this on her own even if it killed her.

After checking in, Nicky pushed past everyone and went to his dorm. He was glad to have a single dorm this year. Mate next year he'd room with some of his friends, but this was great. He unpacked, then went out. He fit in a lot of groups, but didn't fit in any of them at the same time. He walked over to two girl standing on their own (Rye and Kim). "Hey, I'm Nicky. Mind if I hang with you?"

Rye looked up and shrugged. "If ya want, if you don't mind being in the loner group. I really wouldn't mind either way, whadya say, Kim?" Rye asked smiling. Kim rolled her eyes. "Nah, I don't mind at all." Kim grinned back, although it was partially fake. "Anyway. What are you taking for classes? Oh and I'm Rye, She's Kim." Kim did a wave thing.

Rye smiled. "I'm gonna go looke at all the big dorms. You stay here Kim." Rye smiled and ran off. She saw how big the school really was. She wasn't exactly the posh dorm material. They were HUGE!. She ran her hands along the outside wall, as it was a privilige. She grinned and walked along the path, head down, taking in every detail about this part of the school, as she'd probably never see it again.

Max pushed the door open finally as he stared a bit at the place he would be staying for the next few years. For one the fact of how big it was could be counted as exciting enough. He had seen pictures of it in a pamphlet to know it was almost for the rich families just having fun through they're years of family. He gave another hefty sigh as he was at least glad it was an all boys if anything.Max adjusted the bag over his shoulder slowly beginning to make his way to his new home.

Rye held her books firmly. She didn't want to drop them. There were ripped pages ffrom all her studying. She'd studied from a couple of days after her acceptance letter. Many many scars from many many paper cuts. She flipped her fringe back. She knocked iinto someone (Max Happy?) and her books dropped. She quickly crouched down and picked them up. She stood up straight. "Sorry." she grinned, eyes closed.

Max was paying to much attention on the building in front of him as he bumped into the girl. He was about to offer a hand when he felt a cold shudder noticing the girl from the neighborhood. "Don't tell me she's going to this college too" he thought a bit nervous. Of course he didn't have a problem with her but he had tried so hard to keep his distance when she seemed to just run into him anyway. "No problem" he said quickly.
