High Flyers (1x1) [Telios & Solitaire]

[Telios]

"Another Wonderbolts show! I'm so excited!" Storm said with an eager smile, quickly flying to Canterlot while leaving a trail of yellow lighting sparks. He saw a cyan Pegasus in front of him through his yellow goggles and quickly did a barrelroll to the side before continuing to fly.

[Fus ro dah]

Flickerwind had been a fan of the Wonderbolts since he was a colt, he wasn't the only Pegasus who spent hours dreaming of flying with them. He had taken the day off to go see the show and had been enjoying a nice, leisurely fly when another pegasus barrel rolled past him, apparently in a hurry, leaving sparks of yellow in his wake.


"Geez, the entire sky and you almost fly into me?" The blue pony called after the other. "You need to go back to flight school!"


Of course, there was a chance the other pony wouldn't hear him, but whatever. It made him feel better.

 

[Telios]

"Sorry! I was a bit too excited for the show." Storm stopped just a short distance in front of the cyan pegasus, giving a silly smile while hovering in the air.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"Apparently!" Flickerwind flew up next to the other. "I'm excited too, but I'm not in rush because I know I've got lots of time to get there and find a good place to watch the show from. Y'know, I don't think I've seen you around before. Where are you from?"

 

[Telios]

"I'm from Ponyville. You?" Storm answered with a friendly smile, sliding his bright yellow goggles off his eyes.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"Las Pegasus." He replied with a smile, holding out his hoof to shake the others. "I'm Flickerwind, nice to meet you. I've heard Ponyville is a nice place, I've never been there myself."

 

[Telios]

"Yup. Especially with my cousin: Rainbow Dash." Storm took the hoof and shook it with a smile.

[Fus ro dah]

"She's one of those uh... ponies that are all famous right?" He didn't really keep up with current events, except for Wonderbolt shows. "With the... things that help to defeat Nightmare Moon?"

 

[Telios]

"Yup. She told to me times after times after times." Storm nodded and rolled his eyes with a smile.

 

[Fus ro dah]

Flicker chuckled. "Well, I guess when you've saved the world you're allowed to boast about it a little."

 

[Telios]

"A little?! She told it every camp trip we went together!" Storm laughed. "Anyways, should we get going? I'm Arcing Storm. You?"

 

[Fus ro dah]

"Apparently having a forgettable name." The blue pony replied, looking sideways awkwardly. "Flickerwind, as I said before, and yeah, we should or else we'll be late."

 

[Telios]

"Oops sorry. I'm not too good with names." Storm smile sillily as his hoof rubbed the back of his head. He slid on his yellow goggles before starting to fly to Canterlot.

 

[Fus ro dah]

Flickerwind just laughed and followed alongside the other pegasus. "So, what's Ponyville like? Is it smaller than Las Pegasus?"

 

[Telios]

"I'm not really sure... I haven't been to Las Pegasus yet." Storm said.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"Well, it's huge!" Flicker flailed his front hooves out to the sides to over-emphasise the size of the city. "It's a metropolis, bustling with all manner of pony-folk."

 

[Telios]

"Hm. Ponyville isn't too small. Especially with the Sweet Aple Arces." Storm said with a smile, flying through the air.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"Hrmm... maybe after the Wonderbolts show I'll fly by and check it out. Nothing wrong with taking a little extra time off work, right?" He grinned brightly as Canterlot came into sight.

 

[Telios]

"Yup." Storm nodded with a large grin at Canterlot.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"So, what do you do at Ponyville?" The cyan pegasus asked curiously.

 

[Telios]

"Well... Flying around, sometimes having a race with RD, helping AJ at the Sweet Apple Arces and so on." Storm answered as they flied.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"Oh, that sounds... Like a whole lot of free time." Flickerwind chuckled, assuming AJ was the earth pony called Applejack who he'd heard was in the group that saved the world. "I work in a bakery back home, it's a lot of hard work, but it's worth it."

 

[Telios]

"Yeah... It's boring after a while, luckily I can have some races with Rainbow Dash." Storm rolled his eyes. "So you work in a bakery? I might go there after the show. Who knows if I'm going to be hungry then." Storm chuckled.

 

[Fus ro dah]

"It's a long trip." The cyan pony replied with a laugh. "Plus, I'm going to check out Ponyville before I head back home, but you're welcome to come visit. Las Pesgasus is nothing like Canterlot."

 

[Telios]

Storm nodded before starting to lower down and landed in the streets, signaling Flickerwind to follow.
