Fantasy Hide and Die...

Amanda was sitting in the library surrounded by tall piles of books. She knew it wasn't smart to take them all out at once, but she didn't want to keep getting up to get a new one. She just had to put them back when she was done. She just hoped that Gamer guy wasn't around; that would just ruin the little world she had been building reading all of these lovely books.

Gamer was no-where to be found, but there were a bunch of children's books on the shelfs...Could there have been children here at one point before Gamer made it into his home?

Once Amanda had finished reading the piles she had got out, she began putting them away exactly where she had found them. She had found the children's books and even read through them when her arms weren't full. They brought back her childhood memories that she had pushed away so she could focus on her life now, but she did enjoy the simple stories. She then began looking through the library in search of something new to read. She didn't want to leave just yet; Gamer could be wondering through the halls looking for her and the others who she has yet to meet.

Myla yawned and was sitting on the window sill of a huge window her box of pocky in her hand and one in her mouth she thought about where Gamer might be she had her eyes closed she leaned on the window

Amanda grew bored since she had read all the books there. She headed toward the door and opened it, peeking out and making sure Gamer wasn't anywhere near before leaving the room. She walked down the hall, wondering where the exit was so she could go outside. It was less likely he was there...hopefully.

5:00

Gamer was hiding. He had promised his "playmates" that they could wander around his home until 6:00.

Amanda groaned in frustration. She felt like she had been everywhere except the exit she wanted. She was left wondering who in their right mind would build such a freaking maze of a home. Even with her photographic memory she was lost, and that was a feeling that she did not like. She even found a few unused bedrooms, which possessed her to claim one as hers since she would be playing this little death game of hide and seek for what she felt would be a while. She soon found a staircase and she followed it down, finding herself in the kitchen. Huh, must've been for servants. She thought as she looked around.

Aidan wandered slowly through the puzzle-like halls. The labyrinth of a building was a pretty good place for such a game, though one to the death? Sighing, the music lover started up his ipod while walking through yet another door, the sound of BB King filtered through his headphones quietly, just loud enough to hear, though not enough to mask the tapping footfalls of his even steps or the faint rustle of his coat. The room he walked into was much like one of those medieval dinner rooms, with the long tables and elegant seeming styles; though like the rest of the building, it held dust and a weary sign of abandonment. Walking up to one of the tables, Aidan pulled out a chair and sat down on the chair before looking back to his ipod. 5:03 glowed brightly on the screen before he sighed and rest his arms on the table, taking a moment to think about how he got roped into such a circumstance and how he might escape alive.

Amanda sighed as she exited the kitchen and into what appeared to be a dining room with dusty tables. She was about to explore more when she saw a boy sitting at one of the said tables. She quickly retreated back into the kitchen, slightly panicking. She had known beforehand that there would be other people, but she didn't think she'd see one so soon. She hated this and all she wanted to do was go home. But, to do that, she had to find the fricking exit, wherever it was hidden. But now there was another problem; the boy outside the safe haven of the door. How was she going to get around him?

Aidan frowned when he saw a flash of movement out of the corner of his eye, could it be the Gamer? Or maybe was it another player? However, he couldn't figure out which the movement may be. It could also be an animal that found refuge in this place, or a trap for one of the players. The options for the reason behind the movement were too ranged, so he turned off his music warily, trying to hide the inevitable glow inside his jacket. Aidan glanced around, trying to memorize the easiest ways out of the room, and looking for anything misplaced, but he didn't move. No need to make it seem that he was overly nervous and anxious about the happenings, despite the fact that he truly was. Though he still whispered quietly, "Hello?" all of his instincts screamed at him after the short word, but he needed to know if there was another out there.

Sapphire bit her lip as she thought. He sounded nervous and anxious when he said that one word, though it seemed he was trying to hide it. She must have scared him, but she didn't want to face him. But, he could be useful, well, more useful than she was. He actually seemed to know what to do while she was just hiding. After sighing, she reopened the door and stuck her head out, though she was hesitant. "H-Hello." She stammered, looking at him through the cover of her hair. She hoped he wouldn't attack her. Or hate her. Or scream. All three could be bad. Oh wait, what if it was all three? Oh, now she was starting to panic.

Aidan snapped his head at the reply, now knowing that the movement, was another person like himself, but despite the knowledge his throat still went dry. Yet the feminine voice also seemed quite afraid, so he didn't move quickly after his initial action, whispering again, but loud enough for the other to hear him, "I-I'm not going to hurt you, or do anything. But please if you would, come out. If you are another player of this twisted game, we should work together to try and make it out alive." Tension rang throughout the hall and Aidan hoped that his words were reassuring to the other person, before looking for any sign of change within the room to show the presence of anyone besides himself and the other.

Sapphire swallowed back the fear and tears that she felt rising. This was completely nerve-wrecking! She stepped out from behind the door and stood in the doorway, but she kept the door open just in case she had to flee. She was fidgeting with her hands, looking at her feet. This was only going to end in failure and she knew it. The tension was almost gagging her as she stood in front of the boy. "I-I don't kn-know if..." she had to pause, stopping herself from bolting right then and there. "If I wi-will be any he-help..." she took a breath as she finished, her hand reaching for the door, her fear taking over. One wrong move from him and she was out. She couldn't take this.

5:10

The traps were off and time ticking down to when they would come on. The house was quiet other than his playmates. Gamer had everything set up to where if any of the "Hiders" were still alive, they would be fine until the next night. No need to lose some before night. He turned on the speaker system while his loud creepy voice echoed through the house. This is Gamer speaking. Giggle. Just want to remind you that more "Hiders" are coming, but for now we have a Amanda Carson, Myla Chlink, Devon Chillings, and Aidan Collin... playing! Its so good to have so many... playmates! Giggle. I have given you all watches that will remind you of time, so keep an eye... if you have any... on time! Also remember to be a good guest and try not to destroy my home or... I will have to give out GAME OVERs...

Myla heard her name and her eyes popped open she put away her box of pocky and got up one pocky stick still in her mouth she listened to the volcaloid ce and when it ended she decided to go look for these..."other hiders" wondering g around she had her hands in her pockets glancing around into every room finally finding one with two people inside she stood in the doorway and took a bite of her pocky stick which crunched

Aidan was surprised at her appearance, then watched as she fidgeted before nearly bolting "Wait!" Aidan was about to speak more before being interrupted by the voice of the Gamer, a chilling voice that sent chills down his spine, he looked back to the girl, "I am Aidan Collin, and if you think you are of no help, you are wrong. Please, we have to stick together for a better chance of survival." He sighed before looking away from the girl, wondering if she was Ms. Carson, or Ms. Chlink, though he supposed that he may never know. "We have a chance to survive this, but only if we all work together." He also glanced at his weighted down wrist, a watch, unfamiliar to him, one that had appeared when he woke up in one of the rooms, 5:10 and ticking, though he preferred his ipod's clock.

"Ah, but..." she was about to look at the ground when she saw the door open. There was someone else! She assumed it was the Myla Chlink who was also named. This was too much for her to handle. "I-I'm sorry but...I can't handle...people..." she said before bolting, running through the kitchen and back up the servant's stairs. She had to hide and get away. Away from everything that was involved in this evil game that she was somehow dragged into.

" Well...that....was pointless " Myla shrugged and took another birmte of her pocky stick it crunched again she turned to walk away

Aidan sighed before looking behind him, seeing another girl standing there eating.. something. "Alright." He gently spoke the girl's previously occupied space before returning his attention to the girl in the doorway. "Hello." Trying to be nice, but he didn't rise, glancing back to where the other girl ran, wondering how long she will survive this game of life and death. "I hope she will be alright, though troublesome, we have to find a way to rise against this Gamer, and survive in the process." These words were directed to himself, but were audible to the girl in the doorway. "Anyways, I am Aidan Collin." Nodding to the girl before he stood and pushed his chair against the table.

Sapphire ran until she reached the room she had claimed for her own. She knew she needed to stop being such a wuss, but there was nothing she could do. She started looking through the room, finding a bunch of tiny little hideaways that looked good. And, if she was lucky, she might find a secret door that people usually find in big places like these. She wasn't betting on that option, though, and might just hide in one of the little spaces she had found previously.

" Myla Chlink, tomboy, 13, you want a pocky stick? " Myla explained and asked at the end pulling the box of pocky out and offering one

((Sorry, had to go and write a test..))

Aidan smiled lightly at Myla's short introduction and offer, "No, but thanks. 15" Aidan walked up to her, but all the while glancing around, he noticed something off. One of the chairs was knocked over, one that hadn't been previously. He narrowed his eyes before pointing it out to the pocky-eating girl. "Something is here.. That chair wasn't knocked over a few minutes ago, and that girl, she didn't knock it over."

Myla shrugged and put her box of picky away then crunched on the one in her mouth again then looked to where he pointed when he said no one had knocked it over she hesitated on taking a steping back staying in place

Sapphire sighed as she looked around. She had found no secret doors or stairways which greatly disappointed her. There is the possibility that there might be something in the closet but, despite the room's size, is small in comparison. She didn't see it happening, but she might as well check. She went in and pressed against the walls, feeling around. Yep, nothing. She sat on the bed and yawned, wondering when this game of murder would start and, hopefully, end. She also found her mind wondering to the other two she had met and if they would be okay. She may have ran, but she still cared.
