Realistic or Modern HiddenHill Summer Camp

Skylar swam for a bit and then hopped out. She dried on a towel and took out her phone. Shoot, there wasn't any connection. Hopefully there was connection somewhere else, but Skye was pretty sure there wouldn't be.

Haru was still in the water, floating on his back. He didn't want to bother the other girl, so he just stayed there.

Skylar kicked up the sand in frustration and went back to swimming. She dove right into the lake. She swam and accidentally kicked the male. Sh*t! "Oh my god, I am so sorry,"

Haru was calm. He almost fell asleep. But then, he felt a thud in his side. Wheezing a bit, he flipped so he was upright. "It's fine." He said, giving an easy smile.

"Haru, I like that," Skye smiled. Skylar. "I gotta go now. It was nice meeting you, I hope to see you around," Skye went to shower and changed into her outfit. It was now dinner and she walked to the caferteria.

Skylar waited for the caferteria doors to open. She was starving. "Guess, they're waiting for everyone," Paris assumed.

Devon finally finished putting her clothes away and sighed softly as she glanced around. She knew about the lake but didn't feel like swimming at the moment. Instead, she picked up her journal and a pen, hoping to find some inspiration around this dump. Running her fingers through her blue and black hair, she stepped outside and glanced around, deciding I go to the lake anyway. She could just sit around and write. Falling through with her plan, she went straight to the lake and sat down, not paying attention to what she was doing so she didn't notice anyone else. She sat down on the edge of the dock and opened the book to a blank page before starting to write, her music still blaring through her ears.

Haru spotted a girl sitting down at the edge of the dock. Suddenly he got a malicious idea and he dove under the surface of the water. Sneaking up underneath her, he reached his hands out and grabbed her ankles.

Devon immediately jumped and threw all her things away from the lake out of habit, not caring if she went under. The next thing she knew she felt the rush of the water over her face, still unsure of what exactly happened. She swam to the top of the water and took a deep breath as she surfaced before pulling herself out and back onto the dock, shivering a bit. Noticing the guy that had pulled her in, she stayed silent, not bothering to say a word about the situation.

"Click...click...click....RING!" Rob's alarm clock sounded almost near his ear. His instincts lead him to jumping off the bed an assuming a defense stance, but he soon calmed down after seeing it was just his alarm. "This new clock is way too loud..." He thought while picking it up and looking at the time. Out of nowhere he dropped it and ran towards the bathroom. "It's that late already!? Did I seriously set it for the wrong time?...". He proceeded to take a shower while brushing his teeth at the same time. Soon after he was clean enough he quickly took off his pajama and put on his casual clothes (A yellow jacket with an unzipped white jacket, a pair of black jeans and a pair of blue and green sneakers).

Clean and changed Rob hurried down the stairs, run past the living room, through the entrance and frantically knocked on his neighbor's door. Kyle, a close friend, had offered him a ride towards the camp, and luckily for Rob he just lived across the street. In only a matter of seconds Kyle had opened the door and, after Rob explained him the reason for his delay, both of them hurried towards his car. Rob wasn't calm until they had already left the house and entered the road. "Man, it must suck being you. Your parents are out of town but instead of letting you have fun they send you to a summer camp. I've even heard Duncan will be throwing a party the day after tomorrow." Kyle chuckled loudly. "Too bad you won't be there!" Rob jokingly punched Kyle's arm. "Well who is the funny man now? You know, I think I will bring you a gift from the summer camp. How does a poisonous snake sound?" Both of them laughed and continued to talk about different subjects for the rest of the trip until they finally arrived at the entrance of the camp.

Rob exited the car and opened the trunk of Kyle's car. Inside lay his suitcase, full of the clothes he would use, and a long leather bag, full of miscellaneous stuff. "Thank god I left them here yesterday." He picked them both up, one on each hand, and, after waving goodbye to his friend, he passed through the camp's main entrance. "This better blow my socks off!"

Devon frowned and stood up, wrapping her arms around her waist. She walked back up the dock and picked her book and iPod up. She took one last glance at the stranger and walked back to her caring. She removed her soaking wet clothes and wrung out her hair before drying off. She put on one of her favorite bikinis and grabbed a towel rather quickly. Walking back out, she went back to the lake and jumped in without a word.

Nanami walked out of the lake, seeing the girl from before jump into the water. Ringing out her hair, she passed close to the entrance, her hair still wet.

Haru smiled and pulled her along deeper into the water. "That's better."

Devon found herself blushing before pulling a away from his grasp. She dove underwater before coming back up and floating on her back.

"You couldn't have asked for my name before pulling me into the water and nearly ruining anything that was important to me?" she asked, not bothering to say hi.

"And randomly pulling me deeper into the water?" Devon asked as a smile appeared on her face as well even though the blush was still there.

"I was perfectly fine with what I was doing. I was being a real me," she said with a serious tone taking over her voice. The smile remained and she moved so she was upright. "So what's your name?" she asked shyly, her quiet nature starting to show.

"Devon," she said simply as the smile faded. She suddenly felt her hunger overwhelm her, and she got out. After wringing her long hair out, she wrapped the towel around her and smiled. "Well I'm hungry so...yea," she said before turning and walking off.
