Kwillz
Bardic Inspiration
***UPDATED 6/2***
Howdy humans! The name’s Kwillz, and I’m just a little memer gremlin who plays video games (mainly overwatch) and also roleplays. Lately i’ve been craving a fantasy roleplay about dragons (or, half-dragons in this case) and I’d love to find a partner (just one atm) who would do this with me!
About me:
Okay with that out of the way, here’s the plot!~~
Long ago, the almighty gods decided to use their talents and work together to create the land we know as Astyria. From the mountains to the seas to the winds of the skies above, the gods crafted it all themselves. After making the basic creatures of the world, the gods decided they needed to create a race specially crafted by them to hold dominion over all the rest. The dragons were made to be the first "children" of the gods. They were given special powers naturally and were similar to the gods in terms of strength. The dragons held the power over the physical lands of Astyria for many years until the gods decided to create their second race of "children": man. Humans were much smaller and physically weaker than the dragons. However, they were much more versatile and their intellect had much more potential.
The two races lived in tension besides each other for quite some time, until both sides felt that they were more deserving of the territory and power in Astyria. After many altercations, this caused an all-out war between dragons and humans. The gods themselves were forced to pick sides. The god of the sea, for example, chose to side with the humans who were more grateful for his vast oceans, while the goddess of the sky favored the dragons who guarded her bright blue treasure. An even number of deities sided with both sides, and the high lord of the gods, the god of the Molten Core, chose to stay neutral. The humans were given the knowledge of different arcane magic in order to combat the dragon's mastery in the elements, though they could not seem to overpower them enough. The most powerful dragons were given the ability to turn into a human form, in order to collect and gather information that would help them outsmart the humans, but to no avail as well. This left no one with the upper hand and the war was in an endless state of limbo. This war has been going on for nearly 200 years now.
Muse A and Muse B are two very special individuals. They are both half dragon-half human. Half-dragons are creatures who naturally take the form of a human, though they are able to shift their form (for a limited time) into that of a dragon- though their size is also slightly smaller. They have the powers of their respective dragon element and can also change individual limbs (such as arms and/or claws) into a draconic form as a human in order to aid them in combat (along with growing wings and horns). They were thought to have been impossible, until these two.
Muse A is royalty to the human kingdom of Astyria, their father being human and their mother a dragon. Raised by their human father, the king of the human kingdom, they are hidden away from rest of the world at their father’s order so to keep the people from knowing the truth about what they are. The dragons know not of their existence. Muse B is "royalty" to the dragons. Their father is a dragon and their mother was a human. Taken to be raised by their dragon father, one of the highest and most powerful dragons, they fight in order to prove themselves to the dragons and for the glory of dragonkind. The humans do not know the dragons have a half-dragon with them, either.
These two meet after Muse B is attacked and captured by human forces, taken back to the capital as a prisoner of war and a trophy of sorts. Still in their full dragon form, no one knows the truth. That is until Muse A soon becomes curious and finds a way to sneak into the dungeon holding the new prisoner. But when they arrive, they don’t find a dragon in the large cell... It is a human.
Will these two bring their worlds together or only divide it further? This is just the beginning of their story...

Right now, my preferred role would be Muse B, and so I would like someone to be my Muse A. If anyone is interested in doing this with me, please shoot me a PM!
Have a fabulous day!

About me:
- I'm a fairly casual roleplayer but I appreciate some detail. My posts are about 2-4 paragraphs on average with 1 paragraph at the very least (They can also be longer depending on if it's something like a starter or big scene). I don't really like one-liners, and it seems like most people don't. So let's just promise not to do them.
- I go by EST (UTC−4:00), but I'm an early riser and am up fairly late (basically I don't sleep much) so I reply whenever during the day.
- I am aware that there are people who are conscious about this, so I'll say it: I’m still in high school and under 18. I myself am not too concerned about partners being older than me because that's usually the case. But if you are uncomfortable with being with a toddler in diapers like me, you best look elsewhere.
- Roleplaying is a hobby of mine, and just that. So that means I may not be on all the time. I always try my hardest to get one post per day or every other day. I pretty much promise you one a week. If I don't, that means I forgot, hit a block, or am busy (I will let you know if it is one of the latter two). I just got out of school for summer, so, for the most part, I’ll be lurking the site all day. But there will be a few weeks where I’ll be busy and my activity will be limited.
- I can rp darker themes/topics (death, violence, cursing, drugs and alcohol, trauma, etc.) but I will NOT write out anything NSFW (since that's also against RpN rules). If anything does have to happen, we will black out and skip over it.
- I love romance! Fluff with a sprinkling of angst is my fav. But I don't like forcing things so love will not happen right away.
- For this plot I want to do it FxF or MxM, either of the two is fine (Just in time for Pride Month woo!). No MxF today, sorry. I just want a little break from it... ^^
- Doubling is fine if it's necessary.
- I prefer roleplaying in PMs. I can also do threads if you have a strong preference for those. But I will not rp offsite. (So no Discord, Skype, Kik, etc.)
- OOC chat is just fine with me, I'd love to be pals! We can swap discords and/or battletags, and talk about anything we have in common. RPing will stay on-site but I’m totally down with ooc chat on discord since it’s faster. ^^
- I ask that you try to commit to this long-term. Should you have to leave for your own reasons, that's fine. Just let me know. If we reach any creative bumps, let's discuss it before we disappear on each other.
- You don't have to make a CS. Whether we do or don't is all up to you. I can be as detailed or basic as you'd like, so long as we know who we're playing and the jist of what they look like.
- For pictures and face-claims, I prefer realistic art/concept art. Anime and actual pictures are fine though as long as we have consistency. Pictures aren't even necessary. Descriptions are just fine. Finding the perfect picture can be hard sometimes so it can be better to just leave it to one's imagination.
- Be relatively active please, that's the only way you can keep my attention. One post (or even more) a day is ideal, but at least one every few days would be great. Telling each me of coming long absences you know about in advance should be a given as I'll make sure to give the same courtesy.
- I'm looking for someone who can write causal-detailed; as in multiple paragraphs. Single paragraph replies are fine if there is really nothing to add. But try to keep even those to a minimum, please. Again, no one-liners please and thank you. I can write as long as you'd want so long as you write something too. You can't expect me to give you three paragraphs if all I get is a sentence or two.
- Decent grammar and language understanding is appreciated. But occasional errors here and there are things I'm not strict about. You don't need to use the biggest words or have the most eloquent style of writing. Just something I can understand.
- **Please be creative and add to the story!** Don't just leave me to drag everything along by myself. Help build the world/story and let it come to life! Add something with each reply instead of simply responding with "Okay" or "I agree" and leave me to continue for the both of us. If you keep doing that we're going to have a problem.
- Hopefully be a friendly person. I like to consider myself a chill person, and I love getting to know my partners. So please just don't be a jerk.
