Hello! I just joined the website tonight, I am new and found it through googling for new roleplay sites to join. I am completely new to a forum-based website for roleplaying, I typically stick to the sites that have private messaging and customizable profiles... But I wanted to give this a look and check it out, see if I am able to learn how to go about this site, get used to it, etc. Hopefully I can lol.
I am 21 years old, I have three cats and a service dog. The reason why I have never roleplayed in forum before is because I have a strange thing when it comes to everybody being able to read my writing and judge it... I guess, an anxiety / low confidence relating thing. I love movies and TV shows with a "supernatural" feel to it; Game of Thrones, Jurassic World, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, The Flash, The Gifted. I am a huge video gamer and love games like The Last of Us and Tomb Raider! Of course, I love to write.
On other roleplay sites we use different terms to describe our writing style; I can write from 3-7+ paragraphs which would be multi-para to novella. I am not sure if that's a roleplay-wide term but I love detailed roleplays and do my best when I write. I am a huge fan of shapeshifters and both of my characters are shapeshifters.
I have a dragon and a genetic hybrid character inspired by the dinosaur hybrids in Jurassic World but my own twist, both females and I have powerpoint links for both of them with all of their information. I love darker themed roleplays and require 18+ content mostly just due to the nature of both my characters.
I am NOT a fan of romance, I don't like it, it's not my thing - thankfully I've read "smut" is not allowed on here - I am not entirely sure what it means but I think it has something to do with sex? XD so at least I don't have to worry about that! The only time a character is naked is when it is relevant to the story in some sort of way... Like, I mean I guess for shapeshifters it would be when they shift from animal back to human. But no romance lol!
I don't really know my way around the website much, but hopefully if things seem cool I'll learn. And... I suppose, if I can somehow conquer my strange fear of public writing!
