Um... I don't really know what I am expected to write here. Basically I am posting this because I was told to. I am completely new to this RPG thing. I have role-played with my cousin for many years but I have never gone past that before. Any tips on how to get started?

Also new, but rather than wasting space by making a new intro thread, I figured I'd rather just pollute somebody else's introduction. I haven't myself done much roleplaying outside of people I already know. If I had any pretensions of being a good advice giver, I'd offer the following: just look for people with similar interests and you ought to be golden.
