Hey! So I'm trying to get back into RPing after taking a break that was, for me, pretty freaking long. I think it's been a couple years, maybe longer? For a long time my experience was on Gaia, largely with one person - when Gaia started being terrible compared to what we old farts remembered it being, we explored a few other sites before just settling into our own private forum-type thing. Looking back it wasn't always super-collaborative between me and my usual partner at the time, and I think that sort of soured/ruined me for other partners. Really hoping to get a better/new experience here!

Since most of my experience has been 1x1, I'm a little leery of venturing into group RPs, because oh my gosh anxiety provoking new situations, but I plan on hunting through those forums as well.

One thing I've noticed while nosing around is the idea of face claims - not really a thing with me or the people I played with back in my early days. Then I got used to playing with that one person and we both had always just exclusively described characters. Does anyone have any sites/resources that are good for finding faces of people they could recommend or like, tips on how to do that? I don't wanna bungle it, and it seems to be a preference from what I've seen.
