Hi there! so I have an huge idea to write a tomb raider based story. Both characters will be OC, and can have whatever back ground you want them to have. So I will be writing an intro to the story. Your character comes in after as a long lost friend of Rynn's. (My OC) either showing up at croft manner or calling her. I'll post the intro here. If you are interested, post a bio with a realistic pic and continue the story over a PM to me. If you want to change anything or have any ideas let me know. I know the intro is Long but I think it offers enough detail.
*intro*
It was raining. The wind was blowing just enough to make the rain uneasy and annoying. Rynn sat on the steps of Croft manor facing the back yard leading out into acers of land covered in pine and elder wood. The court yard spread out with Greek statues of scientist and horses and beast glistening from the rain in each corner. A walk path lead out to the stables and then a maze that Lara created for target practice. The garden in the corner of the courtyard was bare, since it wasn’t growing season. The Manor behind her lit up from candles and the lights out by the front windows and large wooden double doors. The rain fell on the stone steps making a tune that could turn anyone’s focus into a deep memory. Rynn stared at the two graves in front of her. Mr. Croft, his grave covered by a white tent, soaked from the rain. His stone, flat into the marble. Next to him, his daughter and Rynn’s best Friend Lara Croft. Lara’s grave laid flat in the marble like her fathers. Reflecting from the occasional lighting flash Rynn could see her name clearly. Rynn looked down at her wrist and turned the watch on her wrist. It was Lara’s, she smiled remembering how they met.

London University of Natural History and Science. Rynn was walking quickly through the alabaster stone and marble floor hallways that were decorated by paintings of past Deans and Donors to the school. Glass cases held some artifact’s that the school had acquired were reflecting the sun light as the sun was setting through the large floor length windows. Rynn was holding some journals and books, she was late for a lecture she was hosting with a archeologist professor. She sped up, her brown boots clinking on the floor and spun as she rounded the corner into a women a little taller then her, Rynn dropped all of her stuff and fell back on her hands.
“I am so sorry, Oh goodness I am so sorry,” Rynn leaned forward and started to gather the fallen papers and the journals. She picked up a book and bean to stand up putting her canvas bag over her shoulder and looked up to a women with veryintent brown eyes. She was holding a book and was softly smiling at her. Rynnsmiled and took the book. Rynn looked up at her once more, she hand her hair pulled back in a ponytail with a few small braids on the top of her head. Her darkbrown hair was down to the middle of her back even pulled up. Her white t-shirtwas just above her navel. She put her hands in her grey pants pockets.
“You seemlike you’re in a hurry,” the woman chuckled.
“Yes I havea lecture,” Rynn started to walk down the last hallway.
“Well may I joinyou,” The woman walked with her and smiled at her.
Rynn was surprised. Why? Why would she want to join her, but oh well? Rynn nodded and reached out ahand while walking.
“Rynn, RynnMarshall,” She smiled at her and the woman grabbed her hand with a strong gripand nice nails.
“Lara, LaraCroft,” She said through her smile.
Rynn noddedand she paused for a moment as she opened the heavy wooden door to a lecturehall. The hall was huge and echoed with peoples conversations. The walls weredecorated in dark curtains. There were a few windows behind the podium that wason a platform in the front of the hall. Students sat with their lap tops openand ready. Rynn sighed and walked in quickly.
“Ah Ms. Marshall, nice for you to join us.” An older gentlemen stood up wearing a vintage greysuit. He had grey hair with a grey beard. His red tie swung forward as he uncrossed his legs and stood up. He re buttoned his suit jacket and walked up toRynn and took some of her books.
“I’m sorrysir,” she whispered and looked behind him and saw a few men sitting by hislarge wooden ornate desk covered in books and papers.
“A fewdonors, so, just be yourself,” He smiled and set the books on the podium. Rynnlooked back and saw Lara had pulled up a chair and turned another around andout her black boots on it. Rynn walked up to the podium and opened up her firstbook to a tagged page.
A couple hours passed as Rynndiscussed about a few different tribes in the South American region and howthey disappeared. Then Rynn closed the book ending that part of the lecture andthe room echoed in applause. Rynn smiled and pushed her hair behind her ear andnodded thanking everyone walked down the small set of steps off the platform.Lara got up and walked towards Rynn with a water bottle.
“Thanks,”Rynn took it and opened it cracking the seal. Lara put her hands on her hips.
“So, is thisa hobby or?” Lara waved her hand in the air and Rynn smiled.
“Kind of, I graduatein a couple months. “ Rynn closed the bottle and Lara nodded.
“Are youfree tonight,” Lara smiled at her and grabbed a piece of paper from a studentdesk and their pen and was writing something down.
“Yea, why?”Rynn looked over at her curious.
“Come overfor dinner and a drink, we can talk,” Lara smiled handing her the paper withher address on it. It was out in Surey, Rynn has never been out there.
“Okay thanks,”Rynn looked up and saw Lara walking out of the hall.
“Who wasthat Rynn,” Her professor asked as he walked up next to her putting his handsin his pockets.
“A newfriend,” Rynn looked up at him and smiled.
*Presentday*
Rynn stood over Lara’s grave and nowwas soaked to the bone from the rain.
“I miss you,”Rynn said softly and knelt down and touched her grave and smiled.
“I’ll findhim, And I’ll kill him,” Rynn mumbled and remembered the man who shot Lara, hisface burned into her memory. Rynn stood up and noticed the rain stopped andlooked up. There was a black umbrella above her and she looked over hershoulder and up at Hillary. He smiled a little at her.
“Let’s getyou inside miss,” He looked at her and Rynn nodded walking with him up thestairs and pushing open a the heavy wooden door. She took off her boots in thehallway, lined with stone floors and walls decorated by paintings of Lara’staste. She dropped them on the ground and started to make her way through themain entry hall. The fire place was lit. The painting of Lara as a child withher father set over the Mantel with Lara’s painting next to it. The fire madethem glow. Rynn stood there by the center table and just stared at thepainting.
“Tea, Rynn,”Bryce walked up to her and Rynn smiled and un crossed her arms and took the cupof tea.
“I set someclothes for you in your room,” Hillary was taking off his coat as Rynn made herway the double grand stairs and hung a right and walked down the all to herroom. Hillary’s voice trailing off. Rynn’s feet thumped on the red carpetlining the stone floor. The windows lit up from lighting, making the entire hallway light up. Candles illuminated the halls, and the artifacts from Lara’sadventures. She passed a few guest rooms and turned right to her room in theback west wing of the manor.
She pushed open the door to herroom. It was a large room with a king sized bed, couple of grey chairs surroundingthe fireplace by the windows. The room was decorated in greys and blacks andseveral book cases. Her bed wasn’t made, the covers were half off the bed andfalling on the floor. Rynn stepped over a few pairs of shoes she had lyingabout and she saw the pajamas set on the bed for her from Hillary. She sighedand walked through her room and into the large master bathroom. She put her teaon the counter and reached into the large glass shower and turned on the hotwater and it flowed down like a water fall. She stripped off her grey tank top,as it was soaking wet along with her jeans and the steam was already filling upthe bathroom. She stepped in the shower trying to relax.
