call me rustic! it's been quite awhile since i've enjoyed a good roleplay - a couple of years, in fact - so i decided to dive back in here! there seems to be a lot of interesting ideas and people here, and i'd love to be able to contribute my share, and hopefully make some friends along the way!


as for who i am, personally... i'm female, nervous, and generally trying hard most of the time. (like right now, making this introduction!) also, i'm an artist! (sort of!) i can't think of a lot to just tell ya that will give you a good idea, really. all in all, don't let my inclinations drive you away if it looks like we don't have much in common - if you want to, let's just talk! but below are my interests if you were interested. thank you for reading, regardless, and i hope to get to know you all better!

- anime and manga! it's been awhile since i've actually watched any anime, though, because i have a hard time sitting down and watching something for 25 minutes at a time... and most of the manga i've been reading has been yuri one-shots... hahaha oh jeez. if it's an old classic, though, like code geass or death note, i've probably seen it!


- cartoons, too! there's a lot of good ones out there i've yet to watch, but i'm mostly into steven universe and rick and morty. i'm also heavily considering getting into gravity falls now that that's ended, since everyone who seems to like those two end up liking that.


- video games! jrpgs, as you might imagine... my all time favorite is the devil survivor series and a few other shin megami tensei games, but i've also played various other stuff like pokemon, fire emblem, zero escape... if it's a popular 3DS game, i've probably played it, haha. i've also played undertale, and am currently playing sunless sea and princess maker 2.


- visual novels! my attention span hinders me a lot here, too, so i haven't finished most of the ones i've picked up - but i'm currently playing hatoful boyfriend, amaranto, aoishiro, and hate plus.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.


If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch with either the moderators of your forum (the genre), the Super moderators, or even the admin staff. You can do that here: Site Questions & Information


If you have any questions you need to address to me, please tag me in your comments as I don't always get to every single response in every welcome thread and I end up missing a lot of questions. You can do that by using the @ before my handle.

finally! cool at last! i mean - thank you! i know this is a standard welcome message, but i've always liked sites that had ones of those - they are always nice to receive.

yes she likes kestrels... and birds in geneal. me i like eagles and EDM ;)
 
i wonder... do the moderators ever actually rp? and if so, on a seperate account or no?¿?¿

ooh EDM! what is it like? what are some songs you'd recommend? i've only heard of it in passing, and i always like to try new music where i can.
 
alright apprentice i will teach you the ways of me, the EDM sensai. first look up tobu on youtube and pick any song by him and then tell me what you think. tobu is a house genre arist. @rusticyawn

hmm! @Talon, i've listened to both colors and sweet story thus far - i'll need to get my headphones that don't have an ear missing in the morning, dangit - but from the side of the ear i can hear from, it's just my style! but is the fact they lack lyrics indicative of the genre, or a stylistic choice of this artist in particular? they're definitely good, either way - they seem like the perfect songs to draw to!

@rusticyawn not quite you see any sub-genre can have vocals. but either he didnt want to put them or he colnt find a singer. now i want you to look up veorra - standby. Veorra is a trap group. trap is the kinda music most rappers rap too. veorra is REALLY good!¡!¡

It's only standard since I do so many of these a day I'd find it hard to try and be unique with everyone. :) I do read the intro posts though.

American Kestrels are one of my favorite birds, and possibly my favorite type of falcon, closely followed by the Peregrine falcon. Anyway, several years ago, I used to volunteer at a local raptor rehabilitation center. We head eight resident birds that we used for education around the communities. We got to go to shows, schools, stuff like that. Each bird had come from the wild, but do to injuries, they couldn't be released. Nicodemus was our grumpy old man, a Great-Horned Owl. Dug and Athena were a pair of Burrowing Owls that were cage-mates, because they hit it off so well when they met. Luna was a sweet little Short-Eared Owl. Tango was a Swainson's hawk. Her cage-mate was a Rough-Legged Hawk, named Odin. Arthur was a merlin, and his cage-mate was Tasha, who was an American Kestrel. She was one of my favorites, because she was so mellow and good-natured. She was always sweet and gentle. I handled her, Arthur, and Dug, so I was closest to them, but I loved them all. I got to bring some of the birds to school, and one of the birds I picked was Tasha. Hence, I became known as Kestrel (and the crazy bird lady, but that's another story). People have since shortened Kestrel to Kes.


This was actually difficult to type, seeing as Vex was trying to run on the keyboard.
 
also because trap focuses more on a complex drum pattern and not the melody it will almost always have vocals.

NO!! He's MY baby! I don't share! LOL He'll probably love you if you have food, like mealworms, grapes or apple sauce.
