My name's marorda. But I respond to a variety of things. I ended up here about 4,5 years ago after my old favorite RP place was getting really silent. Somehow I find myself mostly in Power Rangers fandom RPs, but I love a good fantasy story too. Working on crafting my own story. There's a whole variety of stories and genres on here, so surely there's something that will (perfectly) fit your needs. If you need any help, just give a shout. Well, you already made your start by introducing yourself here. A first chance to meet new people

As for getting started with RPs, I'd recommend you head over to the Looking for Partners and Looking for Group forums. Looking for Group is where you can find the interest checks for all the main RP genres we have on here. Just click the one you're most interested in (in my case that would be Fantasy), and look through the threads that people have posted. There's usually a short synopsis of the story there, as well as what they're looking for in you as a possible participant.

Looking for Partners is generally for the 1x1 RPs (that means you RP with just one other person instead of a group of 3-???)

As for your characters... I'd say take a look at Character Feedback under the Roleplay Discussion forum. Many people list their OCs there.
