(The shadows had come for me. Should I choose to fight, they would kill thousands of people. Should I go, they would destroy my people. As much as I tried, I couldn't see the third option. I could not leave anyone to the mercy of those who had been left. But I couldn’t bring myself to hate those who had been left to corrupt either. I, the fifth star, should know what to do. I had the power of light and dark, I had seen both. So how could I destroy either? But how could I save them both.


The city was what the shadows longed to return to, but they didn’t know how to do it. I did. And I would no matter what. I was the third option. I would save the starfield.


The shadowed figures rallied in one last cry, their last one, and charged. I pulled within myself to find all the memories of the City. The wonder of Hope, the wonder of the world. A large ball of light formed between my hands, it grew the most I feed my ideals into it. The stars would understand why I did it, I just hope they can forgive me for going through with it.When the first shadow hit my roof, I let the light go.


Golden swirls filled the air, wind roared through the huge dome of light being fed by my power. Golden light trailed from my hand and surrounded each of the Shadows. Finally the light reached Cinder. And that’s when I knew I had completed my mission.


A faint tingling came in my wings and dizziness came over me. In a moment, I had fallen over with a Dreamling gazing over me. Her bright blue eyes where full of tears as she looked at me. "Thank you Echo. You have saved us all. You will be remembered as a hero. You always have been. Thank you." She sobbed, tears streaming off her cheeks.


I smiled weakly back at her, knowing that my time had come. "I-i'm sorry I couldn't save you... Y-you taught me more than I could know. C-cinder. Please watch my kingdom. Lead them with the compassion I know you have." Cinder nodded, not bothering to stop crying.


"Echo you can't go! You have to stay! I can't lead your kingdom like you do! Please!” I stared into her beautiful grey eyes and knew she was the one. She would take my place. Smiling, I closed my eyes and let the blank emotion take me.)


(Yep. I killed her, but brought her back cause I can't make decisions.)

The cuffs on his wrists block his powers and so do the soundproofed walls. Now he's sitting in a chair, silently trying to clutch onto what ever threads remain f his sanity.)
