*Jumps Through Window*
Tonight was the night. The salty sea air was cool, the birds screeching and boots blaring to drown out what was soon to come. At the port stood an old warehouse, from the outside it looked like nothing more than another place for storage. The elites of the group were that good, able to keep their plan and presence a secret from the unsuspecting eye.
Data stood in the empty warehouse, almost motionless besides his simple swaying motion and his light breathing. “Elites, how does it look out there?” His voice was tough and staticky, another way to hide his identity to even his most trusted. He got a few responses.
“All clear below.”
“Nothing above.”
“No one is wiser.”
He got a few responses, his anxiousness slowly rising knowing that his little girl was behind him. She didn’t trust her alone at the base, he always seemed to want her by his side. He tapped into his own secret line. “Honey, you there?” While waiting, he cleared his throat, waiting for the recruits to come. Yet, something else took over, from his hand, a dark blue gun materialized. His senses kicked into overdrive yet he kept his composure. “Tonight starts the heroes downfall.” He said to himself, his belief solidifying once again.
