Rally knew he wasn’t good enough to up. She let out a huff as she wondered why the masked bros had let him out when he obviously wasn’t okay. She put her hand on his shoulder before lowering to her knees as well. She looked into his eyes checking for any signs of unhealthiness. While she may not know a great deal about being a doctor one thing she did know was medicine.
“Huh? Are you sleepy? Don’t worry I’ll take care of you!”
She didn’t know the reason why he seemed to wanna take a nap right then but she knew that taking care to make sure no one got close was easy peasy. She grabbed him and helped him to lie down before she shot back up and started to stay even more on watch than before.
“Pfffft let anybody try to get near I’ll slam them so far back the wall they’ll fall through and go plummeting into the sea!!! Not even a speedster could get by me!”
She heard a chuckling coming towards them and she turned to the red-haired man. He was walking to them with no haste in his steps. He made an exaggerated bow as he stopped around 30 feet away from the two. He was looking back to the chaos at the end of the hall every once in awhile.
“Do tell me is this how they always react? Or is today a special occasion? The two of you seemed to have some familiarity with one of them… Granted I suppose even kids aren’t usually stupid though.”
Rally puffed up immediately as the man started talking. She was irritated by this guy already, she didn’t know them that well but one thing she was not was a snitch. She let out the biggest shout as flipped him off.
“If you really think that we’d tell you then you’re even crazier than my aunt!!”
Under normal circumstances she’d be at him like a cat chases a mouse but she couldn’t exactly just do what she pleased right now. She started to reach for her poison needles, but hesitated as she didn’t think she’d have the chance to go give someone an antidote if she hit someone else again...

5', 96LB. She is currently outfitted with her Assault suit, while concealing her identity well it leaves little to the imagination, Being skin tight with the accept ion of the Chobham armour plates on her back, chest, forearms & shoulders. She is hoping the armour will conceal her gender until she can get a better material for a combat environment that's lightweight. Her helmet is completly off her head, letting her hair, and facial features flaunted to all those who look. The suit's boots give a small metal clunk with each step, with small, barely noticeable arcs of electricity coming off of her boots onto the metal floor of the 'rig'. Her back has a medium sized suitcase with occasional lines of red coming off the sides, the suitcase is professionally secured to her suits harness system, Removing the threat of the suitcase swinging around on her back. Her SMG is holstered in a waist holster, a round in the chamber; inside of the holster are 2 magazine holsters, each magazine holding about 35 AP rounds.
Hallway #4 - NA 'Rig' Tesla-Armour edited.png Tesla stares into Zeus with knifes for eyes, her body language going from casual to aggressive. Tesla was going to go up to the 2 horny bastards and give them a piece of her mind; However with a quick moment taken to calm down Tesla remembered the very reason she was so geared up.
'The alarm! I better try to find out exactly whats happening. Starting by questioning the asshole who interupted her... but she can't be a dick about it. I hated to do it but I have to temporarily sink to their level, but i need anyone who knows alone to question! and that little shit already hates me. I only need to convince that wierdo for a minute. Only for a minute, I can do this!'
Tesla keeps her glare on Zeus and gets closer to him, the eyes in her helmet burning towards him like tiny blowtorches. Completly ignoring the little blood soaked maniac and letting Zeke handle her. The first thing Tesla does is touch Zeus' arm giving him a small jolt. Just a little bit, to get him to notice her. Her hand barely traveling over the surface of Zeus suit. Tesla clicked the back of her helmet, the voice modulator being cut off letting Tesla's smooth as butter voice cut through her helmet. She picked her words carefully, completly ignoring Nezu while speaking to Zeus.
"When you two are done, i would like a word with this one. Never even got his name~"
'Ah fuck I messed that up so bad, oh well I have to commit now.'
The electric babe started to make her hand coil with eletricity. Just enough to cause a small effect on his suit as she trailed her hand over his forearm, then with one quick motion of the hand, she sent a small pulse of eletricity into his armour. Pulling her hand away, she had the smallest smirk as she walked away back into her room. Putting a slightly seductive gait while walking. The name of the game was patience, this one seemed deadset on flirting with everything in sight; to not take advantage of that would be stupid.
'Not my smartest idea, but the execution was better than expected!'
Afterwards she rounded the corner into her room and sat down out of sight from the people in the hallway, unhooking the small sentry gun from her belt and started to tinker with it. Letting it unfold and set itself up, it beeped after looking at Tesla. It had limited AI, just smart enough to tell what is a target. Not smart enough to learn. She could design something intellegent but she found that to be a bad idea.

Tesla took her helmet off while working. undoing a small latch in the back and pressing a combonation of buttons let it unhook. Tesla took it off and laid it on her table, the glowing eyes never going out for as long as Tesla was around it. She waited to see if her plan would work, she had a good plan. To get back at that asshole for sicking that little, bloodsoaked.... crazy at her and interrupting her conversation, AND to get the information she wants. For now all she had to do was wait for Mr.Flirts to be done with Nezu and then she would have be able to effectivly siphon information from her via proxy.

  • Desmond
    Halls | Hall #3

Rally, aura whispered in his ear. Desmond stifled a yawn to smile in Rally's direction as he finally forfeited himself to slumber's sweet embrace.

She calls herself, Rally. Orange sparkles of mystic energy giggled gleefully into the air, only to be heard by his ears alone. Nodding his head gently, as he touched the cold metal floor, Desmond curled up into a ball, with one arm under his head as sleep did it's thing and his power took full control.

The first thing he sensed nanoseconds after curling up, was life. Not just one life. Multiple lives. Auras of all colors filled his mind's eye and he saw and sensed, everyone's aura on the rig. Some were too far that he could not reach unless he focused, others resided in the halls and were close enough that if he allowed himself to take a peek -which he did- he could make out small insignificant things. Like the names of everyone in hall 5.

There was a woman with a sword, her red-orange aura shifted lazily yet in spite of this, lively told him its owner's name was Retsu. With her, a masked man with aura as dark as indigo, and its aura told him the name was Omega. Sil, their host, sat not too far away. And joining them still was another man who's aura whispered the name Faust. Then there were others. There was Paladin, Vesper, Aia, and Bright. There was Hettaru, Isla, then Haze, Prism, and Carbon. There was his friend Zeus, Tesla, Acme, Nezumi and...Oh?, Zeke? The one who'd helped him on board. It was a small world after all, and Desmond couldn't help but smile lightly in his slumber as he recognized the mechanic's aura then went on to note the different tensions in the air that transpired between Zeus and Nezumi, Acme and Zeke, and Tesla with Zeus.

It was the sound of Rally's voice that drew Desmond back to the situation they were in at hand.

Turning his attention to a spiky haired masked individual, the one Rally had no doubt been yelling at just now Desmond watched as Spiky's aura unfolded before his senses like a flower blossomed, tangerine in color, but almost a brighter hue entirely. Ignis, was the name that came forward when Desmond listened and apparently he'd been enjoying the fight quite well between Saint and his attacker who Desmond understand was named Beau. Stretching his senses a bit more Desmond felt a new presence in that newly made pit somewhere, but he wasn't sure who it was, all he knew is that she hadn't been there before.

Feeling a shift the air, there was concern. His mind's eye zoomed out then zoomed in on Rally. Hesitance. Nervousness. Uncertainty. Each word told a different story and it wasn't concern she felt for herself but at the situation, confidence was clear in that she believed she could handle this guy if she wanted. But it was something else, a weapon maybe, was what Desmond could gleam from how she moved and deciding enough was enough, he stopped stalling and focused his attention back on Ignis.

Fire. That was all Ignis' aura told him about his power. Fire? Desmond mused, more confused. Is his power pyrokinesis? he asked the aura in front of him and to that, he got another answer. Something to do with heat? Wait...he can fly also? He got bits and pieces, trying to look in too deeply to someone he'd just met was never easy, but outside of that there was more to this situation that he wasn't entirely getting. Taking a metaphorical step back as Desmond lay on the cold metal ground, he considered the whole situation. And wondered what had started this whole debacle to begin with.

The alarms. His ghostly form recalled. That was the start of everything. Then gradually, things had gotten a bit more hectic. Focusing back on Ignis' aura Desmond tried to see if peering into those confident wisps of energy would tell him anything useful about why the alarms had went off and why Ignis was here if he wasn't here to attack them. Because any way Desmond saw it, the man could if he wanted. He didn't really know what Rally could do outside that she had something to do with the physics or something relating to telekinesis, but if Ignis could really fly and had the abilities of a pyrokinetic then he could easily torch this place to cinders....but he hadn't. In fact, he hadn't attacked Saint at all when he was dealing with Beau, he'd been watching. If he really posed a serious threat...then that whole issue with Beau would've turned out very differently.

Strange... the boy thought. Then glancing over to Rally and extending his will Desmond reached out to her, shifting his ghostly form into something more human and anchoring it into the world as something more physical so that when it touched her shoulder, his ghost only ended up gently nudging her in a cautious manner, wary of anything she might do to end up 'accidentally' hurting his unprotected body in the process.

"Rally?" He spoke into her mind then glanced over at Ignis. "Don't freak out it's me Desmond" he cautioned in the hope she didn't accidentally break their telekinetic link, "Look", the ghost said as it appeared then gave a wary glance back to his body and continued. "I think...we should try something else before we start attacking him, okay?" Then letting her go, the link broke and Desmond's ghost glided into the space between Rally and Ignis as if to end the fight that had never even began.

As it came to a stop, the phantom's facial features shifted and became more human. More like Desmond.

"Um...Hiya?" The ghost said. Only it didn't really say anything, Desmond's ghost never once moved it's lips but it mirrored every facial expression like a normal human would. Wherever the voice came from, it spoke directly to Ignis and him alone; speaking right into his mind. "Uh, so first" he cautioned, "don't freak out and uh....why are you attacking us? Did um..." floating a couple inches above Ignis, ghostly tail following behind him, Desmond peered into the pit yards away to get a look at what was happening below before he looked back at Ignis and offered a nervous smile, "Did, we do something besides this, to uh warrant an attack? Is there a reason you and your friends um...surprised us this early in particular?" Like most here, he hadn't a clue what was going on. Ignis' aura refused to give up that kind of information but it did hint vaguely at some sort of justifiable reason for all of this happening.

But if anything truly drove Desmond towards the route of avoiding further conflict, it was his desire to avoid fighting Ignis. Because if he was being honest? He really didn't want to fight him.

"Could you maybe, um please tell us what's going on?" Desmond tried again, doing his best not to let his ghost's smile reflect his own nerves and also hoping Rally would catch on to what he was doing and wouldn't attack till it was clear fighting was inevitable.

Carbon Dragon.png

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan listened to the girl speak, watching the smoke from her air kiss harmlessly fly over him into a heart. So her name was Haze, very fitting and unoriginal. He couldn't care less if she gave him her real name, it was something to call her by rather than 'lady'. That's when the part he cared about the most came into play, some insight on what's going on. So there were others, yet nobody was going to die? If that's the case then what is the point of attacking if they were a rival villain group or heroes trying to kill them. If it were heroes then there would be much more than just Haze in this hallway alone, meaning their numbers a minimal and they aren't heroes. Not only that, but he hadn't remembered seeing her on his datapad. That means she and this group must've come to light after he deserted, after all, if Carbon were a religious person his datapad would be his bible. He watched as her face of twisted perversion turned into one of disappointment. He isn't the one she was looking for? What in the hell does that mean? Her responses, as well as her evaporating her 'Goliath', made him wonder more. At this point, Carbon didn't even want to both trying to fight her. Given time he could win, but he'd rather find out what is going on instead of wasting his time here with Haze.

He was about to head off and head towards the other halls and see what was going on there, however, another round of questions entered his mind. He looked right at her, with a purposeful menacing glare that could be felt in the hall. "If that's the case, then who sent you. You avoided it the first time, and what you have told me leads me to only one conclusion." He paused to quickly gather this information in his head to make sure he wasn't wrong with his theory. "You and these people work for Computer Screen too." He said, with his glare somehow becoming even more intimidating. Carbon felt he was mostly right on this, after all, most of what she said supported this idea. Although he could totally be wrong, which is more likely since he has no idea what in the hell is going on in the grand scheme of things. He didn't really wait for a response either, he simply materialized his sword and began walking towards the hallway's exit to walk into another hallway. "Unless you want to fight more, I'm going to find out what's going on myself." He said materializing his shield, beginning to walk away.

She chuckled as the man mentioned avoid shooting allies, man was that ever nostalgic. She was pretty sure she shot at least four people in her old crew, best punishment for an idiot that couldn’t follow directions. Though admittedly saying that probably would gain her a world of headaches. Then again for the most part they knew what they were signing up for… for the most part anyways. AND that was all that mattered in the long run. That and permission which she never had anyways, why start to pretend to be a good person now.
“Non threatening new recruit eh? You play a good game but I am a carded career criminal of bullshit detection. But hey I like you feel free to keep the act up or drop it whenever Mr. Ms? Hawkeye. How ‘bout I give you some free info? We’re about to cut our bullshit too…”
She pulled out some noise cancelling earplug from her pocket and put them in. She motioned for the others around her to do the same before she pulled out a mini palm sized airhorn. She used her right to countdown from five before she pressed down on it calling all of her allies back to the center of the residential part of the rig. She took a moment to pull out the earplugs before turning back to the man that had been here conversing with her.
“Anddddddd now. We see what happens, while my guys will be coming back I didn’t really tell them to bring anyone else back so if you guys aren’t cowards we should be flooded soon. Yays I didn’t even have to use the guns this time. Aoi please take whoever it is you stuck in that damn bag out.”
She took the opportunity to remove her mask clasping it onto the left side of her belt. She ignored the noises of Aoi dragging out a body and instead look to Paladin with a gleam in her eye and a desire to gain another cash cow.
“Now tell me… in the market for another gun? Want some dru… er prescriptions? I mean I could probably find you a rentboy or rentgirl too... but I feel that’s a fail automatically. Oh shit I didn’t introduce myself did I? I’m Scarlet and I make sure this damn place doesn’t die of starvation or a lack of weapons. In general don’t get used to one look okay, I like to switch things up frequently, hair color and eye colors of all across the rainbow.”

Nezumi was so done with these new recruits. She wasn’t a people person! All she wanted to do right now was curl up with a nice little blanket and some snacks, but no instead here she was interacting with crazies, flirts, and nerds. Don’t get her wrong she had nothing against flirts and some nerds, but she had a maximum interaction limit. Being surrounded like this was the instant push into the side of anxiety. The only thing that was keeping her slightly ok right now was the lovely feel of being protectively held. She let out some broken sounds at the thought of changing back right now, after all she may do well on her own but she heard the stories and she had no death wish thank you very much. Still she should probably tell them somethings at the very least.
She was just starting to climb down from Zeus to shift when she felt a shock go through her body. She let out an ear piercing scream as she began to fall. She took the opportunity to shift back before she hit the floor. Her knees hit the floor and she knew that the second that thing let their guard down she was shooting it. Yes she was gonna string it up by that stupid armor and FEED IT THEIR OWN GUNS. She probably looked a little maniac herself at this point but that’s nothing. This was actually great she was so mad at it that even the crazy demon baby didn’t scare her at this point.
“Gonna kill, Gonna kill, Gonna kill, GONNA KILL. She better not come within forty feet of me again if she wants to live.”
She was slightly pissed at herself in an effort to escape the cartoonized gal she let herself lose the damn protective suit that scarlet specified to not take off by any means. She was lucky she got away with some numbness and nothing else, after all that level of shock was much worse for a mouse. She forced her legs to work as she pushed herself to a stand. She woulda gone straight after the girl had she not heard the sound of the horn. She turned back to the group with a smile that didn’t quite reflect in her eyes. She grabbed Zeus and Zeke by their arms, with a surprising amount of strength for a girl her size.
“Well now you get to know! C’mon that’s the signal! Girl covered in guts please go shower before following us or stay at least 5 feet back. Please and thank you~”

"Be my guest", she said with a sigh. "Not like I have a reason to fight you anymore anyway, not yet at least." And that's when she heard the blare. Rolling her eyes, Haze glided past Carbon and then broke down into simple a stream of mist. "Oh, right", her voice called to the tin man. "Tell that friend of yours if she wants to survive in a place like this she needs to grow a bit more of a spine", Haze's voice echoed through the serpent of gas that briefly circled Carbon, "and tell her I had fun also", she said with a cackle- then broke off to the direction he was heading in, or more importantly the direction of the sound.

Hallway #4 - NA 'Rig' Tesla-Armour edited.png Tesla after hearing the horn realized that Zeus would get too distracted so she would have to find another moment. No matter, Tesla grabbed her helmet and locked it back on with a lock of a latch. Tesla grabbed the sentry gun off the table and moved with the crowd; after reaching the end Tesla noticed the clusterfuck of people here and really wanted leave this room. She pushed forward though and got to the front and looked at a man who looked severely under-gunned and underarmoured and someone who wanted a whole artist color palette in her hair; then some bunny child? This was getting to be too much too fast; Tesla moved to as far as she could in the room then stopped.
Desering to keep it simple, she walked up to whoever seemed to be in charge over here, or whoever was at the end of the hall; it made no difference to Tesla. She overheard the smallest conversation in the background.... 'In the market for a gun-' Now Tesla had to investigate, she waited for them to finish talking and then buted in.
    "I heard something about guns!"
Tesla was looked so short compared to all of these people! It was embarrassing. Yet Tesla didn't much care, it was obvious that she didn't need another gun, anywhere that a weapon could be slung across Tesla's body there was a gun of some sort; none of them looked like something you would find in a black market, custom made prototype weapons; something you would find in a lab if no where else. Tesla walked up to the pair and froze up at her mistake.
'Yea, good job Kat, just interrupt whoever you like. What a great way to make friends!'
Tesla's little freeze was due to anxiety, then she tried to correct her mistake.
"Oh sorry, that was rude of me. Im Tesla. ummm gunsmith, technically an experimental one."
Tesla holds her hand out to try and be more formal than a few seconds ago. Inexperience compounded by anxiety was the best way to describe her tone, she didn't really know how to introduce herself. That was never really her job to put it quite frankly. She awaited a reponse from the blue haired women, not knowing much what to expect from her. So Tesla prepared herself for anything and everything she might say, well as far as she knew.

His demeanor had the subtlest of changes, but given the blue-haired woman's skills he was sure she noticed. His voice as well dropped the fake youthful energy and returned to his usual tone. "Just Hawkeye's fine for now." Short and sweet, the comment about their guests cutting bullshit intrigued him. He watched closely as she pulled out the earplugs and subsequently blew the horn. It was times like this he was grateful for his helmet as it allowed him to stand there entirely unphased. He remained silent as the woman removed her earplugs and resumed talking. His suspicion was becoming more and more validated the more she spoke. And as the words continued to flood out there it was. She belonged to the New Anarchists as well, at least in some capacity. Would explain why their 'betters' never bothered to show up to deal with the intruders.

"Sorry, already have a supplier." No matter what it was he needed he was sure Bright could get it for him. He didn't need some shady new salesman. "My question from earlier still stands. Care to fill me in on what's going on? Suppliers don't normally crash the base they're supplying, set off every alarm in the place, and pick fights with the inhabitants. So I'm sure you have a reason." He held his hand out slightly, expectantly waiting for the woman to elaborate on the situation. Even if she did belong to the NA it wasn't exactly a good will gesture to make such an entrance. It was then that a man's words filled the room causing him to turn and look over his shoulder back in Vesper's direction. In one fluid motion his hand was already on his pistol and aimed directly at the man hanging off Vesper. It was pretty obvious he was with this Scarlet woman, but sneaking up and clambering over one of his companions was yet another poorly thought out move. "I don't remember you introducing yourself." His words were cold as he directed them at the masked man.

Paladin spared a sidelong glance as some midget in armor strolled in talking about guns. Based on appearances and her general introduction it was safe to assume she was one of the new recruits. He didn't even bother answering the girl, returning his full focus to the man next to Vesper and Aia. After a few seconds he let out a sigh and slipped his weapon back into it's holster. It wasn't so much that he trusted the man not to hurt Vesper, more that he trusted Vesper to lay him out if he even tried. With his weapon back in place he turned back to face Scarlet. "You folk's sure don't make a good first impression."

VesperHer movements were subtle, but just enough to shift her shoulder slightly so that the man’s arm slid off. With a blast of psychokinetic energy, she sent herself flying backwards, next to Bright’s chalk-white ward. She touched down on the ground and lowered her stance, watching the masked man. The next blast would be aimed towards him if he so much as made a single wrong move. When Paladin swivelled around and directed his gun at the man who seemed like he was kicked out of a masquerade party, she turned her attention at the lady who had introduced herself as Scarlet, but squared her body to face Mr. I Don't Like Dropping My Hat, allowing to keep her eye on either of them. Had it not been Paladin’s choice to play it safe, she would, could, and should have crushed them immediately. She backed up to Bright’s kid, as if her small stature could even shield the…whatever the girl was.

Trust is hard-earned. Excuse me for not putting up with this buddy-buddy routine right off the bat. Stop chattering, and start talking.

Aia had been deeply passed out the stun she had taken from Paladin still very much in effect as she was rested on the wall. Over time though it started to wear off leaving Aia in a state of sleep. It wasn't until a loud air horn shot off that Aia's eyes shot wide open and alert. Instantly her tail slid under her and lifted her off the ground and to her feet. Waking up like that had sent Aia into a state of major awareness and energy much like a human filled with adrenaline. Then a tall man in a mask suddenly appeared by her and the other girls side and Aia almost sent him through the wall with a hard swing of her tail but managed to hold herself back. One this she was most aware of was her mother wasn't around which made her wish to find her again but Aia also did not want to be shot once more by the man in armor. Looking at him she let out a low growl.

Everything happened so quickly. Paladin drew his gun on the man and sheathed it, the other girl got ready to battle then dropped her defenses next to Aia and they all seemed to converse. Paying more attention to every ones actions Aia could sense the uneasiness in the air and knew conflict would come soon. In response Aia got down on all fours her eyes darting back and forth between the two unknowns as her tongue flicked in and out of her mouth a few times. Slowly Aia slid her tail under herself in a coil like shape leaving her in a poised position for when the fighting started. Her eyes not leaving the masked man and the girl a little down the hall.

Lily tensed as the blue haired woman took something from her pocket. If it was a gun, she became practically useless. Her current supply only enhanced her physical ability. Practically useless against ranged weapons and powers. If only materials for gas based weaponry were available, shoe wouldn't feel as powerless as she was.

Thanksfully, she took out an airhorn and sounded it loudly once. Introducing herself as a supplier, was a woman who called herself Scarlet. Lily let out a sigh and relaxed her muscles. The sound in the hallway was not the result of a peaceful transaction. Or severals. Transaction didn't make any loud noise if done peacefully for that point. She walked into the open, taking out her pill bottles. The woman with the pale white creature jumped backward, while another, covered in steel based armour, just ran forward and.. trust the supplier? Everyone, as she expected, was not average there. Though it could have a double edged meaning. She turned to the blue haired woman.

"Everyone here has a point. Calling yourself a supplier is... contradictive to the action of your groups. " She took out a bright orange pill from the bottle and swallowed it. A careful mixture of propranolol, rhePO, ibuprofen, amphetamine, and several others substances. It enhanced her senses sensitivity and alertness for ten minutes.

"Unless attacking potential clients and alarming them is your way to greet them? " She could feel her blood flowing faster under her skin. In an instant, her five senses were overflowed. The shifting of balance from one leg to another. The odour of metal. The subtle sound of footsteps. How her clothes covered her skin. The drug, even with its less potent effect on Lily, still drastically increased her performance for a while. A normal human would die not long after from overdose, but not her. If one look carefully, he would notice that her eyes dilutes not long after she swallowed the pill. But apart from that, Lily moved as normally, showing no effect of being under high concentrated drugs.

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan began to walk as he heard the blare of an air horn coming from the private entrance. He wasn't that far away, about halfway down the hall, so the sound was reasonably loud. His suit's auditory automatically adjusted the sound, but it was still loud enough to be heard. It didn't last long and apparently; it was a signal for Haze as well since he saw her dot move on his radar towards the end of the hallway. He turned to see her wispy form go past him, speaking as it did. He didn't bother to give a response, and instead, after waiting for her to exit the hallway, he began to walk that way as well. He saw through his optical sensors that Prism was still invisible and was now toward the end of the hallway, he looked her way and nodded as if to give a 'you did well' to her. He turned the corner to see many people he recognized from the ship last night, as well as some unfamiliar faces. The person who stood out the most was a girl with long blue hair. He tracked those he hadn't marked on his radar and set those he didn't recognize people of interest. He approached from the right side of the group and made his way to right-center, walking behind the group and then appearing near the middle.

Alan hadn't realized it, but he was near a group of people that intrigued him during the fight in the warehouse. The man in armor, and alien looking being, and a girl in a sleek looking hoodie. He semi-heard the blue haired girl's response to whatever the armored man said. What he did hear was the man in armor's response, which was what he was going to ask. Since that question got asked, Carbon felt no need to ask the same line of questioning. "The man's right." Carbon said motioning his head towards Paladin. "The fact you were able to get here even with the alarms going off, and how the leaders of this thing didn't stop you, raises high suspicion." He said materializing his sword since a possible confrontation is very likely. "Either you're in the same group as us, they don't give a shit, or you beat them. The last one isn't possible since I know one of them, and she alone could fight half of us and still keep up." He said keeping up the questioning, not allowing for a response. Alan's goal in all of this was to figure out what was going on here, and there were still possibilities that could happen even though he has a fair idea of what is happening.

He then began to try an analyze who these people were. He took notice of the man still wearing his comedy mask and in a top hat, and then the little girl, and then someone on their side. Someone wearing a relatively advanced piece of armor like him, although right now that didn't matter right now. He then stared directly at the blue haired girl, giving her a cold and intimidating glare before he asked one final question. "What I'm asking is if you all are with computer screen or not." He said in an equally cold and intimidating tone.

Part of him wondered if these guys actually wanted to join the organization or if they just had nothing better to do with their lives. Not that he was complaining, hell if nothing else this was prime time entertainment right here. If they did nothing else than provide bodies for Death and entertainment for the general population of psychotic elites then fuck that was more than worthy taking on some extra baggage. He’d just about got enough information on how this group seemed to be operating when he found the two kiddos he had approached seemed to actually be planning something up their sleeve. He felt a large cheshire grin show as he took amusement in watching the girl broadcasted her emotions for all to see. Poker face he noted that would be the first thing he worked out with that one.
He decided to drop into a squat as he tried to find some obvious holes in the boy’s approach, besides apparently having to be told not to take a nap in battle? Nah there’s no way Data wouldn’t allow a kid that fragile into the base, it was practically murder. He tilted his head before he felt his jaw drop as the boy seemed to materialize out of nowhere despite his body still very much being on the floor? Fuck did he feel for him if he wound up anywhere near Death. Shit would that make him complacent if he just ignored what might happen? Okay so he may actually need to keep an eye on the brat. Maybe he’d throw in a word with Red or get Silver to do so for Data. Hell if Nezumi’s little black heart still exists she might empathize with him and send him far away from Death.
Before he knew it the ghostly boy was rambling to him. He didn’t move a muscle still squatting down just staring at him as he continued. It wasn’t until several minutes after the boy had finished did Ignis actually attempt to speak. He shot upwards from the floor pointing at the ghostly figure.
“That’s sooooo creepy... your lips aren’t moving what the hell. Damnnnnn that’s impressive… OH yeah why. Don’t fault us kid we’re only doing our job, what you thought we’re so desperate for people that we’d take any old trigger happy people? You’d be right but at the very least we separate our crazies and beat that outta them.”
He started to walk off before he heard the sound of summoning. He turned back to the pit that was now created from the idiots. He let out a laugh at the thought of how utterly screwed most of this hall was once Red got within fifty feet of them. He gave a salute to the ghost boy and punk girl as he used his power to propel forwards. He felt himself be hit into the wall as the girl seemed to intently want him away from the boy. Thank god Scarlet had somehow managed to make the suit have shock absorption.
“Well that’s not nice? Listen little lady how about you grab sleeping beauty there and we all make our ways back to the center so that we can introduce you all proper.”
He figured he didn’t need verbal communication as the ability to walk again was clear enough. He could tell she wasn’t pleased with it though as he was pushed forwards far away from the two. Okay, Okay You didn’t need to tell him twice geez. He walked on deciding it was up to every idiot in the hall to find their way there.

Silver had to admit he didn’t expect a straight cannibal to show up. After all he had to be right? Unless the reason he wanted the bodies was actually… No nope not going there the boy was a cannibal. He figured that he hadn’t realized the power to it or he definitely would have taken a few more useful ones. While Data didn’t usually condone those ways of thought it wasn’t like you could deny the power in it. After all if scarlet hadn’t already nabbed the bodies for wholesale he’s pretty sure that Data himself would be gaining a certain newbies power very shortly.
The whole idea disgusted him in truth. Data tended to attempt to punt bodies his way to gain a stronger underling, that was something that was never going to happen. He knew his place as cannon fodder, a simple cog in the larger machine of oppression of the common wimps. He was born a Lowblood and a Lowblood he would die, free from the corruption of thick sap that filled the bodies of the abominations they called Heroes. If he could he’d rid the world of all of them. Even Data was questionable at times, the only thing that made him and some of his co-workers okay was that they fought for an equal state.
Before he could explain that he wasn’t intending to leave immediately but would be if they kept with idle talk another male entered the hall. Now that he thought about it the entire hall seemed pretty quiet, had some actually just slept through it? Oh right he was suppose to have checked that right? Oh well Nezumi was a bit of an overachiever no doubt she’d checked the two halls nearby. Before long he’d heard Scarlet’s call.
“Silver, you may call me silver. Though I don’t care much for who you are. Like Retsu here says it’s about time we take a stroll back…”
He avoided chuckling at the woman’s obvious distrust of him, he wasn’t in investigations crew for nothing. He walked forwards with purpose as they walked just past the ends of the hall. Oh were they the last back? He started glancing around seeing all of his team had returned, Nezumi in particular seemed to still be holding onto people? Those poor recruits. Something had pissed her off, though only years of knowing her let him notice she was wearing the fakest smile she had in her artillery. Ignis seemed to be actually injured? What? He always pits people against each other and flees. This was certainly less than what had entered the warehouse, seems quite a few ran. Or died if he was lucky, but he’d not heard of Red tossing anyone to Nadine recently. How unfortunate.

// The Omega //

"Yo. I'm Omega. Don't know who you are but pleased to make your acquaintance." The masked villain said in response to their new arrival. His golden eyes wandered around the newcomer, trying to determine whether or not he was a potential threat to their little... posse? Whatever this meeting was. At least this new guy didn't smell like alcohol, was decently clothed and was a person that he'd actually recognized from the night before. Or at least he thinks he's seen him around before. Well, whatever. It's not like it mattered all that much anyways. They're probably just some other villain, like and... the other two. If they were here, they probably are.

Before standing up like the other two did, Omega downed the rest of the can. Despite how much of a lightweight he was, a beer or two could help every once and a while right? Brought him into a much more lighter and better mood, so it couldn't be all that bad. Maybe he should stop worrying about the possibly hidden and bad intentions the other three around him might have, so far it didn't seem all that bad. Who knows, though. Something might pop up sooner or later that might come to bite them in the ass so he'll just keep his guard up in case anything unsavory happened. Though he'd like to avoid bloodshed for now, getting another bloody shirt would be a bit bad. Even if the smell was something he'd already been accustomed to, others won't like it all that much. Maybe.

Sliding up the wall to get himself back on his feet like the other two, the masked cannibal then slid his mask back down to cover the entirety of his face. He may be in a lighter mood, but he still doesn't trust them all that much. Maybe they'll get to see his face in the near future, when he felt that it'd been long enough. Names however were a different thing, he'd prefer to be called Omega or at least some other abbreviation of it without anyone knowing his actual name. Well, at least until somebody finds out. And if he won't be seeing his old apartment again in a while, that might be soon. A suddenly missing person with secret fridges that held human meat of other missing people was bound to be somewhere on the newspapers. It'd probably be months before then though. Or never.

Omega silently joined their stroll around the rig, keeping himself quiet and only really responding whenever someone talked to him. Soon enough they'd be reaching... the center? Well, wherever this Silver Eye guy lead them to. Probably the center. Soon enough they'd be reaching wherever Silver lead them to. And it had a whole lot of people in it, were they waiting on them? From an outsider's view this would look like some random shitty cosplay event with all the different things people wore as villains, him included. He had a mask with an omega symbol on the forehead. Anyways, Omega kept himself silent at the back of their group with hands in his pockets. Casually eyeing the people that's gathered around.

  • Saint & Desmond
    Hall #3 → Main Entrance

Desmond sighed. "Oh thank god!" he thought but in this state those thoughts became actual words. Relief would've been an understatement to how he felt-- joy would've fit just right at the success of avoiding another fight.

Rally He recalled, then he turned and in the blink of an eye, his ghost was right there. Floating right in front of her, the ghost reached out with a cold hand and with a surprising form of human warmth, touched Rally's shoulder, "Thank you." It said. But just as before the ghost's lips, Desmond's mirrored, lips did not move. It was his thoughts and the link he restored that reached her instead.

"Thanks for keeping me safe." The ghost stated gently, and for a second, Desmond felt that maybe...just maybe she might make a friendly ally-- then that moment was crushed the second his senses alerted him a presence grew near.

Without even thinking of it, Des' ghost froze and his defenses kicked in immediately. Right before Rally's eyes it began to change as it turned in the direction of this new presence, carefully broke the telekinetic link between he and her so she felt no pain and he felt no feedback then stripped away the disguise that was once Desmond, and took on the form of something far more menacing entirely. Something, Desmond had not wanted, but had inadvertently willed into change out of simple surprise.

Dark brown skin shifted to ashen grey, hazel eyes became dark abysses that held nothing but white dots for pupils, and Desmond's hair- the only thing that still remained a part of the spirit became snakes, that hissed and rattled with a imaginative wind.

" Well...", hearing that voice and finally recognizing that aura after coming out of a momentary startle, the defensive line of Desmond's power that had been activated, switched off almost instantly as the ghostly gorgon snapped back into the appearance of a fifteen year old boy, " I'm glad to see you're not hurt at least."

The ghost shimmered as it became a little less evil, and a little more Desmond. "S-Saint?"

Nodding his head the armored teen waited with crossed arms and turned his glowing stare to the girl. Desmond luckily, did not need to read his friend's aura to know an eyebrow had just been arched at Rally's direction. "This is uh Rally. She helped me confront Ignis, t-the one you were fighting before um..." he trailed off. The only thing Saint really did in response to Rally's introduction was breath, and even that was hard to hear. But Desmond knew there was more. A wave of suspicion cautiously rippled like a droplet on a pond in Saint's sparkling emerald aura as he watched and studied Rally from head to toe.

"She's alright..." -the link expanded to connect all three- "tell him you're alright Rally." While Desmond didn't look her way, it was pretty clear from his nervous smile he was trying to win his senior's affection over.

Not that it really mattered. He'd watched the brief exchange between the three of them anyway as he made it out of the pit. If Rally had truly posed a threat, well Saint had reason to believe she would've shown it the second Ignis lost interest in them and headed towards the sound. Or maybe...she was smarter then she seemed to portray.

The armored teen shrugged, then felt his teeth grind together when a sharp pain in his shoulder reminded him of a recent play date. " Nice to meet you." Saint said dismissively and without another word he gestured for Desmond to cover with a single head gesture. " Get over here. Even if you're like that, I still know you want one." The masked voice croaked monotonously.

Saint had to admit, it was still weird hugging one of Desmond's 'figments' even if the boy could shift them to a more human-like state that resembled him. It always felt weird, especially when a ghost boy slammed into you not to suck out your soul but to give you a brotherly hug.

" Alright, alright." Saint intoned feeling a twinge of pain work its way down his shoulder, " enough with the pleasantries. We're still going to talk about the consequences of your actions" -the ghost frowned- " but not now. First, we'll meet Zeus at whatever this meeting is for. And if we don't get answers for why all this stupid crap happened...well...time will tell." He patted Desmond's ghost on the head twice then sent out a message through his thoughts to the boy that he should stay asleep and that he would carry him in case their group needed his protection.

    What about her?

Saint glanced in Rally's direction as he moved past her and picked up Desmond's slumbering body. " What about her?" he deadpanned.

    "Saint!"

He paused in a crouch, mulling the decision over....then after a few seconds shrugged. "Alright." Shifting Desmond's sleeping body around to get a good grip, with a simple lift and heave, Saint carried the slumbering boy in a gentle princess style.

" If you want her to tag along, fine. I'll trust your judgement for now. But hey, Rally?" he called getting her attention as he began heading towards the signal. " I'm telling you this now so there are no surprises-" red lights looked at Desmond's form as they walked. " Zeus and him are my friends. You tagging along with us?" He gestured towards the ghost floating beside them who gave her a nervous but encouraging smile. " It's because of him." The deep voice said in a tone that made it pretty clear things could've gone differently. " Remember that." He added. " And don't make me regret it." Then after saying that, Saint kept walking in silence, always making sure he moved at a pace that wouldn't interrupt Desmond.

Even if it wasn't really necessary.

Was that so bad? No, it wasn't bad at all. The dull throbbing had all but passed. The worst of it had come and gone in the heat of the moment, and behind it left only the memory of ache. Still, he didn't need to catch a glimpse of his face in the reflective mirror of twisted metal to see that his beauty had been assaulted. Unforgivable. Wasn't it? He wasn't sure. Nothing was certain, anymore, it seemed. He felt relaxed, oddly relaxed. Omni. Where had she gone? He wondered why she hadn't come to check on him, by now.

Saint. Oh, he was gone? That was fine, too. Surely their paths would cross again. He was looking forward to it. That was odd. Why? Beau had seen his face. The image of it was seared into his skull. It hung from a hook on the wall of his mind for him to look at still. Omni was there, too. Decisions, decisions. They swirled together, then, congealed until he wasn't sure where one ended and the other began. They were perfect like that, the way he'd captured them in his thoughts, held them close to his heart. That way they'd be together, forever. That was good, he thought. It made him smile.

1bf89c7f83b179958dabf190dcad4296.jpg

Still, there were hurdles he had to overcome first. The woman? She was gone. Or, he didn't see her anymore. Either way, he had to get out of this hole. The floor he'd fallen from didn't look too far. He jumped, and stumbled as his feet caught on the edge, but he kept them. He heaved forward as he felt the room spin a little. Dizzy... It passed, and as the world came back into focus, Omni was the first thing he saw. Standing nearby, talking to some kind of beast. Disgusting. He put the nasty thoughts out of his mind as he approached, and put on his friendliest face, despite the bruises.

"Hey, Omni!" He didn't great the other creature, because he didn't know its name, or if it had a name. Or if it was intelligent enough to speak. He knew for a fact that he didn't have anything to say to it. "Are you all right?" Concerned, he looked her over as if he were an appraiser examining for impurities. "I was worried about you. I'm glad that you're okay." He leaned over and pulled her toward his chest. She smelled like bleach. Cleaning supplies. He held her tightly, gently running the flat of his palm down the small of her back. She felt so tiny and insignificant in his arms.

While he stood there, a sound like an air horn breached their corner of the rig. With his arm around Omni's shoulder, he turned to face the source of the noise, feeling a familiar tingle as the swelling in his cheeks began to fade. Beau's brow furrowed in wonder. "What now?" He asked the hall, which was all but empty, now.

Following the flow of the crowd, Beau ended up in the center of everything. People were everywhere, here. All of them, faceless. Grey silhouettes painted on a grey canvas. Ants on a hill, scurrying back and forth. They made him uneasy. He wanted to run. Should he? No. There was nowhere to go. He was trapped on this metal monstrosity with these maniacs. Just then, he recalled something that made him feel even worse.

647e5a6332070ce790254d79902eb3a8.jpg
Ah, I lost my knife. What a mess.

For lack of anyone else to talk to, he turned to Omni - and whoever else happened to be in ear shot - and asked a question to fill up the space that seemed to hang like a fog in the air. "So what's all this about?"

'Rig' ApexEdit 2 W Grunge.pngApex quickly disengaged from Omni in general when the dirty blond climbing up the pit, Those who stab their coworkers are people Apex is not in the business of dealing with. It was so typical of Omni to be snuggling up with someone who tells them everything she wants to hear. With a scoff she separated from the two and waved Omni bye.
"You two have fun, i'm going to see some of the more unique folks here"
With that she sped walked down the hallway trying to catch up the the small posse of people, the claws on her feet making small metallic dinks with every step; she could avoid this but it common nature for her to try to dig into the ground she walked on. They walked fast but it was no issue to Apex; in fact she started to get a bit excited as she got closer. Her tail was starting to slink from side to side; the prehensile thing nearly hitting a wall. Catching up in no time and gave the man in armor a tiny tap on the left shoulder with her claw. Her claws making a sharp noise as it collided with the metal on Saint's suit. She saw all of the little details in he suit from here, all the glowing features and dark colors. What a interesting design choice, it really is a shame they wont have much time to talk.
"Hey, I was impressed by your work down there. You really did well! Names Apex!'
Apex was excited to see how this bunch of villains were, she had met a lot in her days but sometimes she just meets someone who is an interesting figure. Someone capable of denting the deck like that had to have some merit. She waves to his little band of people behind him, flashing her claws to Desmond and Rally unintentionally. Giving a friendly smile showing off her teeth, her baby whites. They were extremely sharp, pointy and all things considered; dangerous. Everything on Apex body screamed dangerous except her tone and posture.
"And you are?"
Apex walked with them, her tail flopping excitedly behind her; the claws continuing to make the soft noise on the metallic floor of the rig. Apex tried her best to come of as friendly but it is difficult when every inch of your body is a weapon.

This was no good. The fire system down one of the halls had been burned cleaned off, and the sprinkler system entirely destroyed before they could even perform their duties. Perhaps their strategy to root out the spy was not very well thought out. She scanned the rest of the records, and wondered on the integrity of a plan that, summed up, was basically spooking a small platoon of what can be summed up as imbalanced, suspicious, and cynical superpowered human beings. She took a note of the required repairs and renovation required at the severely damaged hall that the mage, the necromancer, and the sunlight-flinging office worker had been in, and mused over the fact that the trio seemed like a start to a very bad joke. Comparatively bad joke, at any rate. There were many jokes to cross-reference with from stored in the mainframe, and while she did not particularly find any of them really funny, she was also met with the information that delivery was very important when it came to jokes. Perhaps the way they were delivered to her weren’t in a particularly humorous state.

She made a mental note to ruminate over non-sequitur processes on humor on a later time as she began to near the entrance. There was another matter she was to be focused on. If she wasn’t mistaken, there had been a glance or two of a certain armored individual on the cameras. Suffice to say, she had only been active for two years, and had been only under the service of the New Anarchists. This armored man was not her own memory. No, this sense of recognition came from what remained of Vale Glamorgan. Not an old flame, hopefully. That would make things weird. Not that Vale had had the ability to have gotten an old flame, given her obsession to her research. An old test subject, perhaps? The truth eluded her. There was insufficient data to cross-reference with what existed in Vale’s memories. Genesis did not like making guesses, educated or not. Solid proof served better than wild flailing. To her, at least. She made her slow, but steady, way down the hallway, scanning the other records as she went, her hand tracing a line idly on the walls, her sneakers muffling the footsteps.

Her first sight was of the blue-haired elite, just in front of a couple of newcomers. She made her way around the latter, arriving beside Scarlet.

Scarlet. I’ve assessed the damage. There are burns and heavy damage down the hall that Hettaru had went down. Permit me to say so, but this strategy was quite costl--” she halted in her assessment, her visual receptors centering on one of the armored men. She recognised both: Carbon Dragon, and Paladin, from the records. But one of them was more…familiar.

Ah. I see now,” she said, when she at last put two and two together, nodding to her own satisfaction. “You must be one of Vale’s first few accomplishments. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She clasped both her hands together and bowed, before straightening up, then faced the rest gathered. “As well as all of you gathered here. I am Palingenesis Unit 01, though you may refer to me as Genesis, if you wish. I’m here to make sure everything here is in serviceable conditions, and that nothing collapses into the sea.” Was that a satisfactory attempt at humor? Was it even humor? Nonetheless, she offered a smile.

Paladin! P-put--” A woman in a suit stumbled into the hallway, clutching at her knees, wheezing and gasping for breath. Sweat drenched her collar, and her face was strangely pale. Lack of breath, Genesis surmised. She recognised her as the one who has nearly melted the entire hallway she had been in. The suit straightened up after a good minute of swallowing for air. “Paladin, Paladin, it’s not an attack. Put the guns down. Just-- sweet baby Jesus-- just a turn-out exercise. Looking for a turncoat, no less.” She went back to clutching at her knees, half-doubled over, wiping away the sweat from her brow. Her shades slid halfway down the bridge of her nose from the sweat, and she pushed them back up. She turned to behind her, flashing a thumbs up and what Genesis supposed was to be a winning smile, but it looked more like she was a gambler down to his last chip, and going all in on a losing hand.

She is currently outfitted with her Assault suit, while concealing her identity well it leaves little to the imagination, Being skin tight with the accept ion of the titanium armour plates on her back, chest, forearms & shoulders.
Hallway #4 - NA 'Rig' Tesla-Armour edited.png Tesla was quickly getting overwhelmed, all the people walking it at once. She had long retracted her hand she held out to shake awkwardly from Scarlet and started to wait for the others to be finished with their bickering. However this didn't stop the armor klad redhead from listening closely, of course even more people showed up. Including girl with robotic arms, She stopped herself from holding her hand out to shake Genesis hand and ending up looking like a fool again. While waiting for them to stop she noted the robotic girls greeting and her name.
'Genesis... and since she is a unit 01; there may be more than one.'
Tesla silently notes this as she looks at the company she is with, she may be with them for a while after all. Right now she is standing next to 2 men in armor. One is modern, one not so much; after some time in the 'market' she was able to get a feel for the less modern armors material. It's very good material actually, if you were a solider 30 years ago. After a growing since of awkwardness built in Tesla's stomach she felt the need to say something to somebody. So she looked to the ends of the halls but could see nothing everyone else around her because she was so short. She turned to Carbon and tried to help defuse this.
"I think that they are allied with the TV head. It's better to make plans rather than drill them."
Her voice was still being modified by the voice modifier. She liked to keep it that way, anyways; Tesla figured that she should say a little bit more. Her eyes wondered to the suit of armor Carbon was wearing; it was a masterpiece of design, angled at just the right places to deflect projectiles. Tesla had to internally admit that she was jealous. All she was wearing is some nano-weave suit with some armor plates on it. It was lightweight, but not exactly the most protective thing in the world.
'That armor is a masterwork...'
Tesla sat there silently admiring every piece of Carbon's armor, trying to make her own blueprints in her head for something similar. The glowing eyes in her helmet still glowing ever so brighter as the lens in her helmet focused on certain aspects of his armor. Tesla's mind was going a hundred miles per hour, putting together her own power armor in her head. The armored shorty slowly started to lose track on everything around her, as she focused more and more on the armor Carbon was wearing. Eventually she got some good plans in her head and started to snap out of it. Soon realizing that she was just staring at Carbon. After feeling very awkward Tesla knew she had to say something, her posture became very enclosed as she came back to her senses.
"Hey, I never got your name. Mine is Tesla"

More people streamed in from the various halls. The majority of them being people he recognized from the warehouse and subsequent boat trip. But there were a few faces he didn't remember seeing. They all had their little chime-ins, many of them introducing themselves or supporting his line of questioning. He was largely ignoring the ever-increasing crowd as his focus was primarily on the man near Vesper and Aia as well as the blue-haired Scarlet. Guys like this were always quick to get on his nerves. No situational sense. Just doing whatever they want, whenever they want. Even the most minuscule amount of common sense would tell you throwing yourself over someone in this situation wasn't a good idea. "Next time you touch her don't expect me to be so patient."

They were on a rig in the middle of the ocean with a bunch of murderous villains who they didn't even know. And this guy thinks it's a good idea to act like they're best buds. The only thing people like him understand is clear and concise threats. And if this guy knew about him, which he probably did, he'd know the threat wasn't empty. He shifted his focus from the man in the hat to a suit-clad woman trying to catch her breath while simultaneously forcing words out. With her words he flipped his pistol skyward before holstering it. "Yeah, I know. Blue over there made that pretty clear." He hadn't trained his gun on the man thinking he was a hero. By that point he had already pieced this all together, well aside from the detail about them looking for a turncoat. Wasn't like this little party would reveal a traitor anyway so the thought never crossed his mind. But he was fully aware they were affiliated with the walking Computer. That affiliation didn't change anything, though. If any of them posed even the slightest threat to his girls he'd take them out regardless of their position. Wouldn't be the first time he had to get out of an enemy base after shooting it up a little.

With his weapon holstered he turned back to face the woman in charge. Even more people had shown up while he was preoccupied as there was now some cyborg girl and a few more familiar faces around. Armed with the new detail he once again spoke up. "So, you all crashed the rig like assaulting heroes looking for a turn-coat? How'd you think that was going to work out?" The whole idea seemed stupid to him. Obviously they'd all respond with weariness and violence to such an aggressive entrance. Sirens blazing, new faces none of them had seen, there was only one way that sort of thing would play out and that's exactly what happened. "Well, whatever." With the full context of the situation he no longer had any reason to even be there so he simply turned around and began walking back down the hall, not bothering to wait for Scarlet's explanation.

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan was waiting for a response from the blue-haired woman before he would like to speak again when someone else approached near them. He was also wearing a comedy mask, although his looked more deliberate and apart from his get up. He could tell though that things were for some reason calming down, people greeting each other and what have you, but he remained vigilant. When the robot girl walked up to him and politely greeted him, and in response he nodded back at her. The name she used to describe him as an accomplishment from someone, Vale, didn't ring a bell. There wasn't enough context to understand what she meant, so he didn't bother asking for clarification after she turned to face the rest of the group. Once again everyone seemed to calm down, but he still kept staring at Scarlet's general direction with an intimidating glare. Until this was figured out he wouldn't back down. That's when the other armored person began to talk to him.

They had a voice modifier on, but he could tell it was a girl in that suit. He listed to what she said and had to admit she wasn't wrong, however, this sort of thing needs clearing. Alan slightly turned his head towards her to have her in his field of view. The awkward part is that after she spoke she just kept staring at him, with deep intent like she was studying him. He was used to people looking at his armor and admiring it back in his hero days, but her studious eyes were clearly felt. For the first time in a long while he actually began to feel awkward, and as he was about to say something she seemed to realize this too and greeted him. Tesla huh? The name sounded familiar, but others have been called Tesla in the past so this was probably just some other. Regardless he finally turned towards her, front facing, and looked down at her. "Carbon Dragon, you can just call me Carbon or CD for short." He said noticing her posture like she had just encased her self inside a bubble. To that, he couldn't help but release a very very short chuckle.

The Three Musketeers
Room → Halls

Do you see him anywhere?

In the presence of a growing crowd, an invisible ghost floated above them all and tried to feel out a particular slacker to complete their trio. Not yet, came Desmond's reply. It wasn't easy shifting through all these auras and the conflicted feeling of curiosity that hung in the air as more and more people came, but sooner or later, he'd find--

"FOUND HIM!"

Saint winced, then through their telepathic link he heard Desmond's figment offer a nervous chuckle in response. "S-sorry."

He shook his head. Go get Zeus, I'll wait for you hear, it seems like one of them is already asking the big question of why we were all summoned the way we were. Come back to us here once you find you've got him.

After hearing Desmond's confirmation, Saint's eyes glanced over to Rally from behind his mask. He wondered what a kid like her was doing in a place like this. Whether Rally actually heard his thoughts or not, was something he didn't really get to think about as the sound of tinking made him shift his attention behind him.

"Hey!"

Recognizing that chipper tone from his high school days, only one thought came to Saint's mind when he looked at the miss who strangely reminded him of that mutant girl, Aia: 'Go away.' was what he wanted to say, instead what came out was a "Huh?" as he gave Apex a sidelong glance.

" I was impressed by your work down there. You really did well! Name's Apex!"

Eyes shifted back to the slumbering boy in his arms then looked towards the girl who'd somehow joined their little group before returning to giving the scantily clad woman a glance.

"....Call me Saint." Was the only thing he said before he turned his attention back up ahead. Then after a second he added: "What else do you want?"

But before she could say anything in response that would've registered to Saint, a new voice jumped into the telepathic link. Zeus's voice.

]Yo! I heard the kid snagged a lady friend but Dessy, here keeps denying it. Saint, talk to me. Is she--

What have you learned, Zeus?

....Well he said with a hint of annoyance, I've learned today that someone is in a bad mood--

Za-- Zeus, what have you--

I wasn't finished, Zeus' voice buzzed an interjection, I also found out why we're here. They were looking for a snitch. Some blue haired beauty just flat out said it to some dude I'm gonna start calling Pal.

It was a good thing Saint remembered he had a weight in his arms or he might have just dropped Desmond to the floor. What do you mean a 'snitch'? A spy? You're telling me we went through all of this because of a.... Saint grit his teeth and exhaled quietly. "Not even a full day in, and we already have a spy..."

Today was going to be a long day.

Desmond.

Yeah?

Stay where you are I'm coming to you. "Rally?" He called. "We're leaving. And....Apex, right? Nice to meet you," the dead tone from his masked voice said otherwise, "but I've got things to do sooo...later." Without even looking back her way he entered a brisked pace, pushing his way through the crowd.

Today is just full of fucking surprises isn't it?

Yup! Zeus replied. His jocular tone was not appreciated.

Kaitlin 'Kat' Peters (A.K.A. Tesla)
5', 96LB. She is currently outfitted with her Assault suit, while concealing her identity well it leaves little to the imagination, Being skin tight with the accept ion of the titanium armour plates on her back, chest, forearms & shoulders. With another small suitcase on her waist. Her electro-gun was on her back.
Entrance to residential wing - NA 'Rig' Tesla-Armour edited.png "Nice to meet you 'CD' .- hey why are you chuckling!"
Tesla's posture went from enclosed to cocky- or maybe enraged. She wanted to punch him but she was afraid that his armor would break her hand; speaking of which, that armor is pretty good...- wait. No that is what dragged her into being so awkward in the first place. Tesla didn't know what to say for a short pause before she spoke up, the eyes in her helmet glowing with more intensity. This time she was trying her hardest to come up with better small talk.
'God this is really awkward.. think of something!'
Tesla couldn't come up with anything off the top of her head. In the conversations pause she readjusted her kit, she layed hands on her STALKER sentry gun and realized that she should spread the word that she is an engineer, she needs to get customers and friends somehow here. The only way that was gonna happen was if she advertised her skills. Tesla was an engineer and others would want to know that. By now her posture had turned more back to normal, or professional.
"Anyways, I make stuff like sentry guns... And normal guns . I also fix or modify any equipment that may need it. Im pretty good at it. Anything you need made I can do it!"
'God I really need to make more conversation, I'm terrible at this'

Tesla looked up and started to note some things about Carbon, like the fact he was gigantic. He could probably pick her up with 2 fingers and throw her across the room. She felt like a munchkin compared to him, It was starting to get to her. Everyone towering over her like... tall people do. Tesla looked around herself looking for anything that she could mention but her mind came up blank. She shifted her weight back and forth on her feet, small arcs of electricity coming off of her feet and onto the ground from her metallic boots. Something finally came to mind that might be important if she was trying to make contacts.
"My room is in... that hallway. It shouldn't be to hard to find, my door is always open. Right side, towards the end of the hall."
She points to hallway #4, and then turns back to Carbon. Starting to hit her stride Tesla smirks at the conversation, happy to keep on talking and talking. Hoping that maybe she could make a friend why she was here. She couldn't assume so fast though, she was gonna wait for him to respond to what she told him; giving him a waiting glare until her responded.
