Fandom Heroes Rising

This was odd, was this thing not human. It's anatomy appeared to be correct. More bizarre things in this bizarre world. "Well not quite. I'm not entirely sure what thrift is and that may be for the best. I got these clothes from a tailor, and you're two hundred years off. Now, what was that about not being human?"

"I'm a symbiote. If you were from 1500, you wouldn't know this. How are you even alive? Unless you perfected an anti-aging serum, I don't think you should be here. You would have been decomposed and been in The Nitrogen Cycle by now. What's your secret human? Future technology? Black magic? Aging cream?"

"Other time direction actually, but I think I'll keep you guessing. No idea what a Simey boat is though. Follow-up question, could you go more into detail on what you're doing and whether or not I need to turn you over to the police. Not to mention, this outfit is no doubt bounds ahead than that style-less thing you're using."

Riley was bored. Watching people stopped being fun now. She stood up and jumped down the building and started to make her way back to the arcade. She had a job to do after all. Like continue renovating the arcade. Fixing the arcade's electronics. Heck, she even has to fix the plumbing, a task she wasn't looking forward to.

"I'm starting to not like you human. People like you make us symbiotes wonder why we ever quit eating you. And it's symbiote. SEM-BE-OAT. And if you just have to know, I'm sitting here. I don't really have anything to do so I'm just sitting. Don't even think about trying to fight me human. I'll have you strung up by your own webs before you can say 'God save the queen.'" Toxin said blunty, flaunting the venom in his voice.

Sly had decided he would take a break from 'searching' for Jaguar. There was this new arcade down the street and he had heard they had a Sega Afterburner. An Afterburner! After he took the fire escape down to the street, he ran down the road screaming "Afterburner!" Once he got there, he ran to the contraption, jumped in, slid a coin in and started playing, completely ignoring Riley.

(@Metaphysics You gonna reply to Sly?)

"Oh hey a customer..." Riley said silently before she continued to paint the back room of the arcade...or better known as her room/house. Looking at the customer every now and then to make sure he doesn't break anything. "...Why are there always weirdos?" She said as she removed her jacket and started to paint the walls. "Don't mind the smell! I'm just painting the back room!"

"Valspar 1 Quart White ColorStyle Interior Latex Flat Wall Paint. That stuff is stinking up your arcade. Still, the place is really neat. Slap in on of those Atari Nuclear Destruction things and it'll be perfect." Sly said, jerking the handle to the side to avoid hitting an enemy plan. "What's your name, Miss Lady?"

"...Wha?" She said intelligently as her jaw dropped. "Paint is paint. I don't really care about anything else." She finally said after a few moments. "My name is Riley and I like shooting stuff." She said as she continued to paint. She finished moments later and exited the back room.

Nilith laughed then went over to Nicholas and grabbed a hold of the pieces. "You get it. I can wait here." She said. She knew this wouldn't be straining in the least on her. @AvidElmV2

"My name is Sly and I like to take contracts that give me money for shooting stuff. You should try it one day, it's really fun." Sly continued to play his game before hitting a mountain, earning a game over. He cursed lightly under his breath and went back to playing.

Nicholas nodded and turned to walk towards the Doom Buggy. He hopped in and drove out of the garage, driving down the street to a nearby Walmart before noticing this two wierdo's wearing Spider-Man costumes. "Dumb cos-players..... He's not coming back." He chuckled lightly under his breath and continued to drive down the road.

"Hang on...does that mean you're a crook?" She asked as she slowly approached a game called Time Crisis 4. It was one of her personal favorites and acted as a cover for a secret compartment. She started to polish the plastic guns slowly, watching the high scores flash on the screens.

"Yep. Don't worry thought, I'm not gonna take anything. Well..... Just for safety, you might wanna bolt this Afterburner down to the floor." Sly said nonchalantly, followed by a small laugh. "No, I'm just kidding. While this thing is cool, I already got a Sega game console at home."

"Just don't steal anything." She breathed out as she finished polishing the plastic guns. "If you do I'll feel the need to take you on by dual wielding anti-tank rifles." She added as she moved on to the next game. Other people, not a lot but few, started to enter the arcade. Some were familiar faces others were new ones curious about her arcade. She put her jacket on and started to welcome them.

@AvidElmV2

"No doubt that's be an interesting spar. Point is, if you're not breaking any laws, I don't exactly have time to spare. So, Symbiote, you seem capable enough. Care to join me in fighting some crime? Otherwise, I've gotta be off, nice talk." Charles began jumped to another building, then began swinging through the city, watching for crime.

Nilith stood there awaiting Nicholas' return. He was a brilliant scientist, but she knew he would never join her side willingly. She would have to force him, then she would see her plan. It would also be troubling with Maya around. Maybe she could just kill her and say something happened. @AvidElmV2

'THAT GUY WAS FROM THE 15th CENTURY!?'

'You were awake this entire time?'

'GO AFTER HIM!'

'Ugh.... Fine.'

Toxin stood and ran out the alleyway before shooting a web at a building, yanking himself up before swinging again to chase after Darrow. "Get back here human! My human wants to talk to you. Uh...... My host. My... Companion. What am I suppose to call you, Miles?"

'I don't know.'

"My I don't know wants to talk with you!"

(0_0 I'm afraid to have Maya around Nilith now.....)

Nicholas came back about half an hour later with a small cylinder. "Okay, just keep it like that while I put it in." Nicholas said, while he put the worked on the weapon. "Okay.... And.... Now you can let it go."

Charles heard distant shouting about an 'I don't know' wanting to talk. Charles halted as an inquisitive look on his face grew. Charles then said "Who want's to speak with me?" This was confusing in the broadest sense of the word. Charles didn't understand this new Earth and didn't care for this symbiote's attitude.

"My human wants to talk. He's interested in you because your from the 15th century. Don't worry, he'll get out of his fan boy phase after a couple of hours of asking you random questions. He did the same thing to me. Just say yes or no and try to ignore what he's saying." At that moment, Toxin gave control back to Miles who stared blankly Charles. "Oh... My.... God.... How are you still alive!? Were you an alchemist? Well, of course your not, mentioned something about time direction... What is that exactly? And how did 15th century technology manage to send you into the future? Did your parents do it? Were they mad scientist who performed test on you?"

Charles wasn't sure what a fanboy was, but answered his questions nonetheless. "Human anatomy, no, correct, I'm not from the 1500s, I'm from the great year of 1899, It didn't, I have no idea in the slightest, but I did hear something about a multi voars or something like that, they did not, and yes he was. Respectively. Any other questions." Charles grinned.

"Wow.... Umm... No, not really, just.... Why did you pick... that?" Miles said, pointing a finger at Charles costume. "There had to be something better in 1899. Something much better." Miles chuckled and stared out at New York. "Hey, you wanna go see if someone needs a beat down? I mean, if a villain needs a beatdown."

"That's not the comment I'd expect from someone wearing a guise fashioned from old leather soles. You'd be surprised what this old thing can do." Charles began swinging from building to building looking for crime to stop.

Nilith released the objects and looked at them. "Well done. You really have a knack for this thing." She looked at Nicholas. "Hey, have you seen that new Spider guy?" She asked.

"Ya. I saw both of those freaks. I think they were just cos-players or vigilantes or something. It was kind of funny, actually, watching the two talk. One of those guy's looked like he bought his clothes from an 1800 tailor or something." Christopher said with a chuckle as he continued to work on his invention. "Why do you ask?"

(@Pink Gorilla )

"There is an actual Spider-man I saw try to stop a bank robbery, but failed. I was just wondering because I thought he died." Nilith stated. "I was just wondering if you had seen him before or knew him." @AvidElmV2
