Realistic or Modern Heroes and Villains{In-Character}

Amelia Lockheart
Ember Gold
She glanced down when she heard both Umbra's and Irene's side. Flinching when Irene covered her ears and looked over to the scene. Before she knew what was going on the Friday was taken down and William was about to be shot by Blue.

"That's what a top hero looks like huh...?" She said, seeming at a lost for words, her eyes never leaving Friday, something mixing in her chest that she needed to stop thinking about.

"It's okay, Umbra." She says softly approaching him. "I can deal with him, I rather you not use your powers." When she got closer she touched the ground and trapped him in the molten rock, like she has always done to criminals. "This is what you get for almost stabbing me." She cuffs William before touching the rock at his feet to release him. She also got his sword and melted it so he wouldn't make any attempt. She looked over to Blue. "Thank you for your service and saving me from before..." She said not able to make full eye contact, probably because she really looked up to him. It meant the world that he saved her.

Echo looked up at Rylan, sitting up fully now. "It's kinda like me to get sent out of a fight just for a bit of fire. I don't like fire... Is Handler okay?" She asked, looking around for him. That meant she got up and began walking around to explore. Screw pain, Echo had cool gel and anger.

"Hey Freight Train people, could you leave that William for me to kick..." She mumbled into the radio. "I think he deserves at least one kick. Also, Amelia, since I'm not there... Good job on stopping the train single handedly." That wasn't a mumble, that was an actual happy thing. Still, Echo wished she might have taken orders a bit more. That aside, she'd helped them all more than Echo had. It seemed only right to tell the whole group that she had made the mission possible.

Then she stopped on the radio, mentally smacking herself for calling that. "So, I'm gonna go back to my room. I think burnt clothes should probably be replaced." She said to Rylan with a small grin. "I'd shake your hand, but I don't think that's a very good idea. Any idea how to get back?"

Lora Jones
Lora ran her slender hand down her caramel brown curls of hair. A long sigh escaped her soft pink lips. "I really regret curling my hair." She finally mumbled as she meandered over to one of the windows in her apartment. Lora looked down over the city with a sigh, placing her hand on the cool pane and observing that which she had sworn to protect by any means necessary. Villains were always there, crime springs up like rabbits, and thugs like weeds. It's because they had nothing to fear. "What's a few years in a cell they can break out of...Right?" She was always unsure, but it sounded right.

Lora wandered over to her closet, contemplating changing out of her work outfit. A nice white button up shirt with a black vest. Black pants, dress shoes, and, of course, a winning smile! She decided against it and just ran a hand over her closet door before heading towards the front door of her apartment. "Well, Ultima, I really hope we don't have to make an appearance yet. You'll tell me if I have to, right? Oh yeah...Of course, there's silence. You only talk when I'm in armor, right?" She sighed. Having another mind in her mind sounded nice, someone to talk to maybe? But as of lately, all it had been was a hassle. Lora still felt alone, she still had no friends, and she still relied on talking to her few stuffed animals after a long day.

The nicely dressed secretary walked down the deserted stairwell of the complex. Her ears perked for any domestic disputes she could help with. There were none, it was a shockingly nice complex to live in! Lora was frustrated by this too. "Maybe some coffee will ease this...? Right, Ultima? Can't you just talk once?" She hung her head and just trudged on towards the coffee shop.

It wasn't that long of a walk until Lora was sitting in a booth by the window, a steaming cup in front of her and her purse in her lap. Her blue eyes gazed out to the street once more. 'The street I'm sworn to protect...Any means necessary.' She told herself again.

MEANWHILE~
[Jacklyn(Jackie) Rose]
[Shadow]

Jackie was already finished with her bounty of snacks and treats licking her lips then fingers clean she'd huff "That was nice..." She sighs happily before shifting around curiously looking back outside and around the nearby buildings. After nodding to herself and observing the crime scene that was the gas station after her previous 'activity' she would lean back inside her abandoned apartment complex's window looking down at the small flecks of blood that stained her coat from brutally killing the cashier. Sighing "Look what you did" she whines to seemingly no one before she would stand up licking her lips as she would stretch a bit, soon she would be hopping down the old stair case her shadow elongating and shifting whenever she passed under the darker parts of the stair well. Before stepping out on the street she'd look down at some of the blood stains before huffing softly wiping at a few to try and get them off she would grumble and lick her fingers again even with cashiers blood on them before scrubbing harder at the small blood stains going to nod in satisfaction when she thinks the stains are more or less dulled. Soon she'd be out on the streets humming a soft but creepy tune to herself as she occasionally skips and fixes her coat sometimes pulling out the stolen cash she got from the gas station "Do you think this is enough to last for a while?" she says to herself while passing by some people who give her a wide berth as soon as they see her speaking to herself and her small height making her a little more creepy. After about thirty minutes of walking and humming she would come across a nice little coffee shop about to walk right past it only to come to a grinding halt cocking her head to side as she appears to be hearing or listening to something or someone only to quickly nod and mumble to herself. Soon the inside of the coffee shop would be greeted to the short girl in a white thick looking coat with seeming very faint red splotches on the front of it and long silky white hair staring in with her eyes wide and curious as she stares in before talking to herself once more. After about a minute or two of simple staring inside the coffee shop her eyes running over each and every person she would nod before going to walk for the door and head inside smiling a bit to happily.

William S. Freight

What was the Freighters' Cargo Train
William was handcuffed. Even as he was being taken away, he smiled. He used his powers too much, causing him to go a bit insane. William began to laugh, devil-like.

"AHAHA!" He exclaimed. "You think I will lose? I teamed up with the greatest villain in the city! I have more resources than your stupid hero hq! I will be victorious at the end! Just you wait!"

William stopped laughing and smiled creepily. He knew he will escape these handcuffs. He always had. William let them have this victory. He was simply going to kill everyone in the prison they put him in. It will relieve the stress.

Yolya Markov
Handler Walksun

Hero HQ
Kuma's Lab
"Handler's blood type was A+," replied Yolya. Yolya couldn't really accept reality. This was Handler's first major mission and he got severely injured. Yolya was beginning to cry a bit.

Yolya then wiped away his tears and remembered he had a job to do. He began to operate on Handler; putting on surgery gear and opening up Handler's body body, hoping he will survive. He managed to remove one bullet by now. Yolya was still nervous that if he mess this up, Handler could die.

Yolya yelled over to Kuma, "You got the blood package?"

Kuma would immediately fetch blood type A+ blood packs and would work on the blood transfusion. "All here hue. Hmm.... This next part will most likely require extreme precision. I shall aid thee in this hue." He would get ready to assist on the operation. The smallest mistake can mean death, leaving almost no room for marginal error.

Umbra
Mission Complete
Umbra watched as William was being taken away and looked over at Thousand, handling the Friday situation. He sighed and walked over to Blue and Ember. "Nice job Blue, you did fine work." He said before looking at Ember. "You made your first steps to becoming a hero, you conquered your fears and stood there even though the situation was perilous. You reacted properly and professionally. All the level one hero's did, that's why even if the media gives more credit to the higher ranking hero's I will always believe you and your comrades were the true heroes of today's mission." He said with a smile before petting her head, scuffing it up a bit, before pulling it back. "You've more than proved yourself today Amelia." He then looked over at Thousand once again and spoke. "Do you have the situation handled sir?" Umbra asked in a respectful tone.

Blue
Irene walked over to Friday and gently kicked the villain. She was clearly unconscious from just one of Thousand's powerful attacks. Of course, Blue still had a hot bullet rolling around. She turned back to Amelia and smiled. In all honesty, Irene could just kiss the other girl if it wasn't statutory rape.*

Irene was brought back to her senses by Blue's harsh laugh.
"Trust me Amelia when I say this, but you deserved some saving. You stopped a fuckin' train!" He frowned at Irene. "Cuff and gag her." Blue pointed to Friday and tossed Irene three pairs of electromagnetic handcuffs and a piece of mesh.

Irene cuffed Friday's arms, legs, and hands before gagging her with the piece of metal mesh.
"Apprehended. I bet Kuma will love to experiment on her." Irene chuckled and lifted up Friday.

"Thousand, are we taking Freight man back to base or is he fine to keep in prison?"

Yany Mits

Freighters' HQ
The cars and trucks pulled up to the abandoned train/sea industry port. The Freighters now owned part of this area and claimed it as their headquarters. Because they were located here, he had access to the subway, outer train system, highways, and the water.

Yany looked out the window. He saw Freighters standing guard with placed miniguns. Cars with placed guns, tanks, and helicopters were stationed around. Freighters were moving around supplies, which even included some hostages. Yany saw one hostages be thrown into a factory with smoke spewing out its chimney. It was like a military camp.

Then it got worse. An abandoned 47 story tall building was stationed in the industrial, so the Freighters have accompanied it as their main HQ. Yany was told to get out and walk into the building. Inside the building was a throne room inside the middle of the atrium. Sunlight was spewing in from the skylight and into the throne. On the many different floors, armed Freighters looked over the area. It was a sight to behold.

Yany was focused to get inside an elevator and they went up to the 21st floor. After passing guards, they entered a room with different chairs, all of them had restraints. One chair had a bright light attached to it, another with multiple tasers, and one with a bucket of water overhead. Yany was placed in a chair, all with metal knives. The restraints went it and the metal knives slowly gutted his skin, turning his skin slowly into metal. Yany began to feel the agonising pain.

"We will deal with you later," said the Freighters as they left the room, closing the door and locked it. Yany finally learned what this room was. A special prison for special people with special weaknesses.

Yolya Markov
Handler Walksun

Hero HQ
Kuma's Lab
After what seemed like hours, Handler's bullets had been removed. Yolya managed to heal all the outer wounds with his powers. Soon, Handler awoke. Yolya Markov was relieved of all pressure. He had saved his boy. "Handler," said Yolya, smiling. "You are fixed and ready to go."

"What happened?" asked Handler, sitting up right.

"I don't know exactly," replied Yolya, his smile disappeared. "We'll just have to see what the people coming back have to say."

Handler got out of the bed and walked out of the room. Yolya looked over at Kuma. "I'm sorry if this seems irrelevant," began Yolya, a bit uncomfortable. "But..." He paused for a bit. "I don't approve of him fighting. He's too young minded. Plus he kills, which I disapprove."

Aftermath

[border]

"Mmm... hue. That should be something you should talk to him about hue." Kuma would clean up the operating table with swift hand movements. With everything wrapped up and thrown in the trash he went back to Yolya. "The reports from Umbra told me that there was a Level 2 and 3 Villain at the scene hue. It is highly dangerous to let Rank 1 heroes engage in combat against such opponents hue. Luckily Thousand was there hue. Were you present with him at the time? If I am right you are his caretaker of sorts hue."

Yolya Markov

Hero HQ
Kuma's Lab
Yolya looked at Kuma with guilt. "I was not present at the time. Yany said they were off to Hale to stop the Freighter train from coming in. I don't think they knew what they in for. The Freighters may have resources, but they are just thugs themselves." Yolya looked out the window and at the ocean. "I try to teach Handler to have good moral standards. Try to follow the ways of the Lord or at least acknowledge them. We can don't need to kill our enemies. However, Handler doesn't see them as people, only obstacles." Yolya turned around and faced Kuma. "He's also very immature."

Advice

"Don't worry this isn't your fault hue. None of us were prepared for what had occurred. The case with your disciple is another story however hue." Kuma looked to Rylan who was with Echo. "Us heroes with to set a good example for our students hue. Of course there will be a time when they are forced to choose a pathway you see hue. If your disciple were to take the killing path what would you do hue?"

Rylan would still be with Echo and decided to make some conversation.
"So... about the mission... what happened exactly?"

Echo barely heard Rylan, she was too busy trying to understand Kuma. Man, he really confused her. "Uh...." She mumbled, frowning at the wall. "Oh! Um, we showed up. There were a bunch of people trying to fight us. Then we melted the egg of a dragon like thing that I can't pronounce, or Amelia did. She's really cool by the way! Sorry, off track. Um, then a level three villain Friday came, and also a level two villain. The two set me on fire... I didn't even get a chance to kick him..." Then her head shot up and she actually managed to hit the wall. "FUDGE! YANY! HOLY HECK WE'VE GOTTA GO GET HIM!" She squeaked, running aimlessly out of the lab area. Then she took the radio and called over. "Has anyone seen any sign of Yany? Was he taken from the scene?"

Thousand
Thousand walked over to where the girl had passed out. Soon more heroes began to appear and pick up what was left. He folded his arms as the tattoos vanished from his body. "The HQ, the man can't be trusted in a normal space. In HQ, he can't do much. It's a sheep in a lions den." Thousand went to Friday, studying the girl. "No testing. The girl's motives should be seen first before true judgement. So much power in such a small girl." His frown appeared again, it didn't feel right. It was like catching a wild animal, it did it by nature not by hatred of man. Thousand looked to Umbra "Of course. It's a pleasure to see you," he gave a respectful bow, his smile reappearing by the sight of a fellow hero.

Handler Walksun

Hero HQ
Kuma's Lab
Yolya Markov looked down at the floor. "I don't know," he replied. It was true. What was he going to do? Simply ask him not to kill? That won't work. What will work was the better question. Kuma said they need to set good examples for their students. Yany clearly failed at that.

He looked out into the hallway and heard someone said they needed to save Yany.. Yolya had a determined look on his face. He was going to join the fight; the fight to save his boy.

"Thanks Kuma," he said to Kuma. Yolya walked out of the room and into his office. He pulled out a brief case with a staff and black with white stripes jump suit in it. He put on the jumpsuit and grabbed the stick. Handler walked into his office.

"Hey Yolya, have you seen Ya-"

Handler didn't finish the sentence. Handler was surprised and smiled. "You doing crime fighting, Second Son?" He joked.

"I'm fighting..." Yolya walked out of the office with his staff in hand. "...to save you."

Handler was confused. "What?"

" Well Gentlemen, Lorekeeper said as he and five of his goons walked into a museum," This object is the final object necessary for my scheme." Lorekeeper then pointed at a golden harp on display near the entrance to the museum. One of the henchmen, a short balding man turned and said to Lorekeeper," Boss, I think I know what you are planning. You are trying to recreate Jack and the Beanstalk." Lorekeeper nodded and said to his goon," Correct Mathew." Mathew then said to Lorekeeper," But we still need a giant".
" I will worry about that later Mathew. For now, get that harp and get ready to make a run for it."

Mathew nodded and nudged a noticeably taller henchmen and tilted his head towards the harp. The tall man nodded and dashed towards the lone security guard and punched him out. Lorekeeper than pulled out his pistol and shot the glass display, shattering it. The tall henchman then grabbed the harp and started to run out of the museum along with the rest of the hechmen. Before he fled, Lorekeeper threw one of his gas apples, which let out mustard gas. As the pursuing security guards turned back to retret, Lorekeeper let out a insane laugh.

"No problem hue." Kuma would then get to work on constructing his latest project. His mind was now delved into deep deep science.

Rylan would quickly follow Echo to make sure she didn't do anything reckless.
"You should try and not move too much Echo. Your wounds are still recovering." It seems that a teammate was still at the scene and Echo was making sure if he was ok. "Who is Yany?"

Allie had been trying to enjoy her day off. Oh well, she must have been at the right place and right time for a reason! Seeing as the alarms started to go off, Allie ran towards the chaos. What she saw was a man looking rather insane, she knew that was obviously the right person...

"Hey! Stop in the name of justice!" She shouted, trying to add a low note to her shout. That would mean she'd create a slight shock wave, meaning to knock her enemies over. While her combat fighting was good, her actual powers were not. Mostly as long as she could hold her breath an effect could be made. "Please surrender quietly, and no harm will come to you." Siren had to congratulate herself on that, it sounded nice and official.

Echo took several long and deep breaths, flexing her hands to try and calm down. "I don't know him, but I heard the others talk about him. I think he's a hero or sidekick. He could be harmed or held captive. We've got to do something at least! Maybe I could fly around and try to find him... Body might not stand another attack, but is the reward worth it?" That lead to her pacing and mumbling, working everything out with a frantic pace. "We've got to try and find him."

Amelia Lockheart
Ember Gold
Amelia blushed and looked at her feet when the two heroes complimented her. She didn't realize it now, but she had stopped an entire train. The thought made her smile and when Umbra messed up her hair, she found herself laughing as well. "Thank you." She said. Umbra was right, she had never taken the chance of doing a mission like this. She didn't run away either despite what Irene and Umbra told her. She also melted the egg which would have devastated many.

Maybe she was better than she thought.

Then, her eyes fell on Thousand when he came up. Despite her confidence boost, she felt it shrivel at the sight of a level 3 hero. She was tempted to talk to him, but knew her nervous gitters. So, she went besides Blue to ask him, "is something going to pick us up. I-I can't fly or jump back to HQ like everyone else..." At least she could talk more fluently then the time she met Umbra. Also, she wanted to get back in time to get something for Irene and Echo. As well as Blue and Umbra, but she imagined it will be harder to get them something. Either way, she wanted to really show she was thankful for all they did.

"What do you mean 'saving me'?" Handler asked, confused. "Like the Nickelback song? Do you want me on the ledge of the 18th story?"

"Shush, Handler," said Yolya. "I'm going to teach you the real ways of fighting." Yolya turned around and looked at Handler. "Without the use of death." Yolya smiled as he looked in front of him. Yolya managed to find Echo and Rylan.

"You guys saving Yany?" Said Yolya, determined to change how Handler views fighting. "Count us in."

Rylan was about to say something until Yolya and Handler had come on in. "Yeah we're going to find Yany. Echo are you sure you should head on out there? If you take an attack then it'll be really bad on your body." To save lives is what a hero does and Rylan was going to do just that. Of course he had overhead the situation and was worried about the villains. Was the situation already over with?

"Umm... could we try contacting Umbra? He's there right?"

Lorekeeper was suddenly and quite unexpectedly knocked over along with the rest of his henchmen. Lorekeeper immediately got up and scowled towards the girl who knocked them over. He then said in a angrey voice with a hint of a growl in it," Do not interfere, this does not concern you." He then snapped his fingers and the tall henchman immediately got up and charged the girl with a pocket knife.

Siren stared at the knife for several second before remembering they were bad. "Oh, uh..." She didn't know what to do until she turned and bolted, running for a wall where she began frantically climbing up the small hand holds and climbing away from the tall henchman. She jumped back down with an impressive flip (And stumble), and charged at Lorekeeper with... Well, she charged with a large stick, but she didn't seem to care. Sticks are good weapons!
