You are a member of a special unit of the FBI, a metahuman charged with the task of dealing with dangerous metahumans or even normal humans of the extremely dangerous variety (Lex Luther types). You are important enough to rate a team of CSI and medical specialists, with a dedicated lab.
Your newest task is to apprehend a mad scientist named Dr Duncan Moran. Duncan Moran was a child prodigy, a supergenius who received two Nobel Prizes by age 17 - in the fields of Chemistry and Physics. However, he has a history of violence and a brief involvement with gangs. He is known to have grown up under extreme child abuse. He became a recluse shortly after he turned 18. He is now in his late 20’s.
In 2025, Duncan’s (adoptive) parents were killed at a terrorist bombing in Paris while celebrating their 40th anniversary. At the time he was outside taking a phone call. This may have been an act of convenience to remove himself from the blast epicenter. Later evidence suggests that his mother was having her adoptive son investigated. A posthumous email to the FBI warned that she needed to discuss a matter of national security regarding her son. That email went out just before the anniversary and her death.
Shortly after the bombing, some of Duncan’s research came up for auction on the dark web. Several FBI and CIA agents were killed in a raid on the auction. Duncan was spotted briefly at the scene but agents failed to apprehend him. He has since gone off the grid.
This is just a rough outline. Please note that Duncan makes for an extremely dangerous enemy. Your character will need to be more than a one trick pony. She should be a well thought out character. I have also tagged this as a romance. If you want there to also be a linked background where they knew one another in school, I have his background going all the way back to his birth. He is a very detailed character.
