Help with creating a group RP?

Hi there!


I'm primarily a one on one roleplayer, I've been doing that for years and group roleplays have always intimidated with me a little. I have been getting into them though, and I've been getting the hang of it, and now, I have an idea for a plot that I was going to post in the one on one forum, but it sounds like it would be a much better group RP!


I don't want to give away too much of the plot, and it's late here so I'm too lazy to write it, but I'll give you an idea. It all revolves around the prospect of all civilization literally resetting itself, because some unknown power decided we've done everything wrong. One morning, everyone on Earth passes out, and wakes up to find all of civilization gone. They're stripped of their clothes, then thrown to some random point on the planet that could be miles away from where they live (For example: Someone in America could wake up to find themselves in Asia/Someone that lives in a snowy climate ends up in the middle of a desert), and are left to face against the environment they pretty much had tried to ruin.


Few other things about the world: All of the natural resources have been replenished, and any endangered animal that had gone extinct, or any animal, really, has had their population explode in number, to about what they would've been if humans had never messed with them. Everyone remembers everything, though there may be the occasional case of amnesia (Which can actually be induced by such severe trauma), and they have none of their man made resources. No guns, no processed foods, and worst of all, no technology. *Gasp* My Iphone! D:





So yeah! But, I would really love it if someone could help me create and run the group RP! I've started 1x1 RPs plenty of times before, but I want this RP to be the best it can be, and any help would be much appreciated X3


Big question- to get it started, do I share the plot in the interest checks, or go right ahead and create a thread? I really am clueless ;.;

Creating group roleplays can be very exciting and fun. I'm a lot like you. I started as a pure one on one roleplayer, then slowly began to branch myself out to other styles and forms of roleplaying. I am more than willing to give you a hand with this process!


You can create an interest check thread to share your idea with others to see whether they will join the roleplay. My first recommendation to you, however, is to plan out a few details in your roleplay before you recruit players.
