Hello!
Probably the main advice would be, watch and learn. If you already enjoy writing, you just need to get used to writing with others!
Here is a section with tutorials. Maybe not all of them apply to you but some can be useful to get the idea where to start.
This one is about using the site in general: Comprehensive Guide to RpNation
This one is a bit old but has a list of common terms that are still being used (you'll see a lot of abbreviations and terms like OOC, IC, IC, one-liners etc Don't be afraid to ask to clarify what it means if you don't understand something!) How to Roleplay!
Roleplay Discussion & Advice has a lot of information about people's experiences with roleplaying so you can get a better idea what to expect and what to avoid.
