The mountainous regions of the balkans are known well for its rual tribes with primitive customs and beliefs in tact. Despite many tribes having individual beliefs in religions within the rual landscape there lays one creature, one beast that is in common of all the tribes... Helo(He-low)
He is known for being many things between the different tribes, some call Helo a protector of the young from the dangers of the dark forest whence he came from. Others proclaim Helo as a territorial deity between god and man defending the dark forest so no one can dabble in God's nature. one tribe persecuted Helo as a savage Monster deemed to kill anyone he pleases and butcher humanity.
Whatever they may say if helo they tell all of their children and even adults alike to never roam to the dark forest or risk the wrath of Helo.
YOU!, you are an world renounced adventurer that has solved many mysteries in life and death alike. You have discovered the reality of ghosts , proven Bigfoot as a myth, and found the lost city of Atlantis! One Sunday morning a paper shows up on your desk by a colleague about the disappearance of Andrew kush, another known adventurer who tried to solve the case you were about to dive into weeks ago but never came out.
The descriptions of the paper tell from the locals that it was Helo that took him in the dark forest further trying to describe about the deity's appeareance told from great great ancestors it seems to intrigue you about why no one else picked up the case earlier. You decide to pack up your bags and the day after travel to the balkans to investigate this beast of the unknown.

(I would generally be expecting to look for a partner that can roleplay about two paragraphs of information per post and as well if you are dropping out please say so or even if you got to go. This adventure is one that would be intended to transform your character to a Moby Dick kind of obsession to find Helo and either document to solve your mystery or to hunt for further reward.)
