I'm fairly new to this style of roleplaying. I'm looking for someone who might be more patient for a one-on-one. I absolutely adore post-apocalyptic scenarios and virtual reality, but I'm open almost anything.

Are you new to roleplaying on a forum or roleplaying play-by-post? Either way, you might have more luck taking a peek around the 1x1 interest check forum. We have oodles of kind and patient people here, but if you have any questions regarding roleplay or need any tips/tricks/advice, I am always happy to lend you a hand in any way that I can (as are lots of people here, in fact). Otherwise, we have a great set of Tutorials in that link there-- on anything from how to roleplay to detailed in-character combat guides.
