Art Addict
Hi everyone! I came across RPN after a long hiatus from RPs. I was constantly participating on another site back in my heyday (10+ years ago). Excuse me while I feel super old.
At any rate, I've never stopped enjoying RPs, but I went a long hiatus due to university, entering the workforce (read: I didn't understand work/personal life balance... and quite frankly, I still don't sometimes), and being caught up in other hobbies/life. I recently came across some old documents i had saved, though, and it sparked back my love for sharing the written word with others. I mostly stick with fantasy based RPs, but I do enjoy the occasional modern and/or futuristic. My heart lies with fantasy mostly though, and I'd chalk that up to my writing style.
For a little bit more about myself beyond the RP realm, I studied comparative literature for my BA and floated around after that trying different jobs and more classes before setting my sights on interior design. I went back to university for a certificate under the interior architecture program and finished it last year. I've got a massive soft spot for design (graphic, illustrations, architecture, you name it!) and enjoy drawing in my free time as well. I love sci-fi shows, and while I love writing fantasy, I do not watch as much of it surprisingly. Not sure why.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to participating in the community with you all!
