You have seen much during your travels throughout the Nation, and yet as you stand at the crest of the hill staring up at the lone weeping willow atop it, you feel as though this is one place that you have yet to explore. You feel a breeze and watch as the lowest branches of the tree sway along with it, the rustling sounding almost like a song.
The grass beneath your feet gives way easily as you cautiously approach the tree, curious and yet reluctant at the same time. This is odd for you, an experience player in the game of life, and yet you move forward none the less.
Once you reach the top of the hill, the branches of the tree part seemingly of their own accord. They have been acting as walls for someone's home the best you can tell, and they have parted to grant you entrance. You come closer despite the warning bells of your mind, entering within the tree's embrace without fear.
As your eyes adjust to the lower light level beneath the tree, you notice that someone is positioned at the bottom of the tree and is watching you curiously.
"It has been a long time since I have had visitors," The woman says, her black hair pulled back and decorated with feathers, "although it is good to see another player again."
She stands and adjusts her simply clothing before giving you a bright smile, her hand extended. "My name is Owlish, although some choose to use a more formal name. Tell me, traveler, what shall I call you?"
Please excuse my odd little greeting, everyone. It was something that came to my mind as I was staring at the blank page, and I felt that I had to get it down. That, and I am admittedly terrible at giving a proper introduction on these things.
My name is Miss Owlish, and I can honestly say that I am so excited to be back on an rp site again! So, a little about me for all you curious people out there; I enjoy just about any sort of rp, although I usually tend to steer clear of anything post-apocalyptic as I am terrible at them. *Although I will try if asked!* I also do tend to play as female characters in rp's, mostly because I just can't seem to get writing as a male character down pat.
I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone, so don't be shy about popping in and saying hello!
