Howdy. I'm Tyler.


I can't say I've done this in a while—not even sure if I'm still willing to. I guess that depends on you. I used to RP on Gaia when I was a wee tot. And honestly? It was really fun. And inspiring. It actually helped form my dramatic voice in writing, or content in general. Eventually I lost interest because of school and other passions and the fact that my RP buddies just grew to move on.


But I'm game to try it again. Maybe.


I was surprised there was just ONE Tales of Symphonia RP on here (It was inactive and a 1x1, mind you)...A bit of a shame. That was sorta my forte in the olden dayz. Anyone interested in that? I suppose I can do others series too...Maybe Pokemon. I've never done Avatar before...Or a non-series related thing would be cool as well. I remember the first RP experience I had was a School type one. Man, I was horrible.


Anyway. Just give me some ideas, yeah?


Or we can just talk about Jimi Hendrix. That's cool too. I'm just passing the time, friends.

A couple of tips I usually share with newcomers: Start by checking out the rules if you haven't already. Then I recommend checking out the list of active Role Plays as well as the Role Play Recruitment and Role Play Ideas areas. Those are the best places to find a group RP to join or find a writing partner. All of those are available from the main ("forums") view of the site. We have a very large and varied member base, so I suspect if you post about starting a Tales of Symphonia RP, you'll find others who are interested.
