He’s short (5’ 0”) but lean, and highly flexible. His hair is pure black and naturally extremely curly and fluffy. Skin tone is a light tan-ish brown.

Growing up in the Midwest-South of the USA, Sam was born to a religious family that hunted for their living and lived off the land. He has three older brothers, all either queer in some form or neurodivergent. His parents scolded and hit him for trying on his eldest “sister’s” clothes and pushed him into learning how to hunt like his other two brothers before him. Alcohol and beer was frequently in the house and his youngest older brother was frequently in trouble for stealing some from their father.
Sam learned most of his First aid skills from his eldest brother while frequently helping patch up his youngest older brother, himself and the other two brothers.

Sam‘s “best friend” was Hark, the son of the local gunshop owner, the two practically grew up together and both crushed on the other when they became teenagers. They admitted to each other and started subtilely dating when they entered high school. Around junior year the two were caught and Harks father kicked him out, while Sam was punished severely and forced into more church.

Sam left home and moved north as soon as he could like the rest of his brothers did and went No-Contact with his Parents. While on his own he worked various minimum wage jobs, eventually finding a solid job at a butcher’s with his hunting experience. Chain dated various people, with the relationships never lasting longer than a few months over the course of the five years on his own, and learned how to play various instruments from girlfriends and boyfriends.

On an icy December night, he died when his car’s tires lost traction on the road and he crashed into another car after losing control.
