She is very focused and dedicated to her duty as a guard and lady to the youngest princess, her top priority is to make sure Anastasia is safe and cared for at all times. She is very friendly and seemingly open with the young princess despite having to keep the secret that she is also a guard for the young woman. She does her best to give the young royal good advice but also ensures that she has fun. She knows that for the most part she cannot stop Anastasia from doing everything she wants and acting wild but she can make sure that she is there to protect her if needed. When needed she isn't afraid to be blunt with them, especially Anastasia, and especially if it is because Anastasia is doing something foolish. No one in the castle other than the queen knows of Vera's true reason for being there and Vera hopes to keep it that way. He has a thick beard that fits his appearance in a surprisingly flattering way and normally has some sort of braiding in the thickest parts in order to keep it out of the flames of the forge. His eyes are green like new leaves in spring with a subtle hint of brown around the pupils. He is the kind of guy that would take a bullet for someone he cares about and doesn’t go down easily. He does have a bit of a temper but tries his best to stay away from others when it is going off because he doesn’t want to risk causing any damage. When he trusts you he is open and genuine. Dark brow and austere expression exhibit a soldier's surly nature, professionally bad-tempered with an easily-won smile; the kind that dances upon the lips or precursors raucous laughter. Brown, near-black hair remains shabbily uncut, tickling a bearded jaw to emphasise high cheekbones and angular, almost scholarly nose. A heavy signet ring bearing the De Clermont arms weighs on Guilles right hand, often dressed in gambeson or court-appropriate clothes that have a plain, warm motif.

02. Persona.

Personality:
Guillaume is something of a bear in temperament, filled with lively, lazy and terrifying all in questionably good measure. Vulnerable to outbursts that go against his better nature, the Knight is full of continual bubbling conflict; torn between his duty to the crown, his family, and himself. Known by many for his valiant efforts abroad and skirmishes at the borders, De Clermont was able to find his place in court through blood and sweat. As much as he engages in the glorious retellings of every battle, those places stain a man’s spirit - staring into the face of human kindness with a killing blow. Between those he knows better, Guille is an affectionate man and finds himself revered as a father figure by the soldiers he takes under his wing.

Of his better, logical thoughts, Clermont is compulsively curious. Always restless, Clermont finds adventure to foreign lands or simply mapping the woodlands relaxing. He prefers to be occupied rather than left with his thoughts and it shows itself in the unlikeliest of hobbies, habits, and boyish grins. Once fascinated, he can’t walk away so easily - even if that may be at the expense of others. Good-humoured no matter the situation with a resting face of thunder, whoever can make the man laugh has earned a friend.

Among nobles, Guille sticks out like a sore thumb. A fighting man, rough and calloused with a booming voice made for talking over taverns, getting into fights and singing bawdy songs. He’s often the plainest titled man in sight, preferring his own comfort to expectation. Not that anyone would dare mention it to his face. Nevertheless, for a big man, he’s quite the dancer from all those swordsmanship lessons and a natural, warm charmer.

Likes:

+ Playing cards, although Guillaume finds himself a terrible opponent. With a hole in his pocket at poker, he's not put money on them since.

Dislikes:
- The damp sort of heat which makes you swealter and rust in your armour. He appreciates little of the summertime besides cool mornings and dappled evenings.
- Undeserved authority, although Guille finds himself surrounded by it daily.
- Icing and overly sweet desserts, the Knight has a low tolerance of sugar and prefers subtle or bitter confectionery.
- Provoking bad luck on purpose; as a soldier, De Clermont adopted military superstitions and sailors rituals to bring some amount of comfort in the fray of battle.
- Tea sets, due to the very small cup handles.

Habits:
- Rises at dawn on the double, he’d do so even if the world was ending. The Knight is a light sleeper with a gifted, or rather, vindictive internal body clock that likes seeing Clermont suffer.
- Suffers awful dreams, the type to make you twist and turn in the sheets until gasping for air.
- Hums and whistles folk tunes to himself throughout work, downtime, and games.

Fears:
- Death. Guillaume is no stranger to the black-cloaked guide and does not fear the afterlife, however, he’s seen good men die facedown. Writhing bodies, jagged bone, hot flesh.
- The open ocean, the Knight hates it and suffers severe sea-sickness.

  These two definitely have some severe differences, but Emma would love her sister regardless. She would definitely try to be a positive influence for the younger girl, but I don't see them spending much time together due to their basic differences. To be perfectly honest, Emmeline would worry for Anastasia, on account of their parents. In private, she would be fine with her sister's nature and honestly, find it a bit amusing.

- Prince Teritheon Agnar Kane ( WanderLust. ) : Oooooo a forbidden romance is always fun! She would constantly be worried that she wasn't enough for him since she is just a maid and he is a prince which could be juicy! I could totally see the sneaking around the castle, meeting up in hidden places, avoiding eye contact in public sort of relationship! Or even have possible casual hookups (if he is the sort of prince to hook up with servants), even if a romance doesn't pan out I would love to see a friendship between the two and they can find hidden corridors together!
- Lord Beauford Delaney Nightlock ( Wolfiee ) : Another fun forbidden romance idea! I am just swooning over all the nobility haha! I could see them joking and flirting with one another since they are both such flirty people. I feel like they would keep each other on their toes and it would always be interesting. I could also see her telling him off if he starts acting all annoyed with one of the other servants! Again if not a romance then possibly a friendship!
- Princess Lilliana Ivory Dauphina ( Wolfiee ) : YES WOLFIEE I TAGGED BOTH YOUR BABES! I think Lilliana and Rose are similar enough that they would vibe well with one another and be able to have a sweet and playful love that could lead to many adventures that neither of them saw coming!
