Heaven's Gate Academy
The Beginning of it All...
"He said it was good... He's finished." That saying was what ended all of the peace that lived in Heaven. He was finished with his new reaction. He was watching it become good. He was watching it, it being the Earth. It was growing and the humans were populating the world. Lucifer, the most powerful angel and the one that loved Him the most, became jealous and acted. The beautiful beings that were angels took sides. Some felt that the humans had taken over and that they were His new favorites. The angels were angered. They were the ones that worked hard and served Him with all of their skills. Lucifer led the battle against his brother Michael. Michael was the one that stood by His side. After the war ended, it was clear that Lucifer's army had lost. Lucifer was cursed to the live in the below grounds of the Earth that he loathed with all of his being. The angels that sided with him became the Fallen. Their wings turned black and invisible to the human eyes. Michael side was graced with the love of Him. To guide the Fallen back into the goodness of His eyes, a few Glory went to Earth with the Fallen. Their white wings became hidden to the humans as well. While these things were happening, Lucifer was creating is army of demons in his new home. This army is to one day strike on Earth with all of Lucifer's pent up anger.
Today's Society
The Fallen live a life of constant praise to Him above. Their end goal is to come back to Heaven's Gate and be accepted into the warmth of forgiveness. The Glory are there to help the Fallen in their constant struggles with temptation that is living in humanity. Demons wander the world constantly causing trouble for the Fallen and Glory. They are always trying to pull the Fallen back under Lucifer's reign. Humans wander this constant society clueless of this time old battle of good vs. evil that lives right under their noses. He wants the existence of angels to remain hidden because it allows His creation to choose goodness or evilness freely.
Setting
The current setting for these exchanges is a small city ironically named Heaven's Gate. There is a small college like school that lets in the elite of that town. It is secretive to outsiders and most humans must be brilliant to enter. The city is a constant struggle of good things happening and bad things happening. The Academy is large in scale and has been different facilities and unique things for their students. Most Fallen and Glory leave here and take part in the actions of it like a College setting.
