Emetaly
melody_by_tatchit-d7qd1n0.png

Emetaly's tight frown suddenly lifted upon seeing her adopted daughter, Taronja, who she usually counted as one of her own pups. "Hey Taronja, I slept just fine. How about you?" she asked politely, stopping for a moment to talk. Her two birth pups ran farther ahead, playing and nipping at each other as they did so. As she watched them run, she felt her eyes begin to drift past them and into the deep forest before them. "You two, stay close!" she yelled after them, making sure they didn't run ahead any further. She jumped a bit when her kid brother. Imari, appeared at her side. She didn't bother to look at him, but she still acknowledged him. "Hi Imari. Yes, I did oversleep. Oh, and by any chance have you seen any pups around?" she asked, looking over at him slightly.

Emonah's ears perked up once she heard her mother's calls. "You should know better than to get close to the forest. Jeez." she said, scolding Lanius for leading her ahead. She ran back to her mom's side gleefully and raised her tiny eyebrows for her older to follow their mother's orders as well. "Hey uncle!" Emonah yelled happily, tugging on his back legs. The small pup looked up at her mother and noticed her googles were down and adjusted hers to be the same way before looking up to her uncle, her tail thumping heavily against the ground as she waited for his reply.

The quadricolored male felt at odds with the springly shaman. She, in her own fear, resulted to doing her duties. But her words and actions were much more dire than at first that he thought. The predictions of the bones were grim, according to how she conducted herself. This was no ordinary day indeed. Something was coming. The alpha felt at odds at whether to say anything, nothing but a gasp escaping his maw. "Nyx..." he said with a low tone, making his way closer, "I... I have been having a recurring nightmare. When I was young, my father told me of your endeavors with.... Tsaghani. For the past three nights, I have dreamt this. And, I decided I must seek you on this issue..."

Brimir could feel the darkness within him. His pack was not withstandable of a plight. Everyone, with the exception of a select few, were young. They were only a few years past their Ceremonies, unfit and unexperienced in this world. They were rambunctious, childish, prankish, and nothing was more frightening. But Tsaghani was long gone, allegedly. Plus, he was certainly dead as a result of the harsh conditions of this earth. But the anticipation was the worse, what exactly was not supposed to arrive for a few more years? Drought? Darkness? The bloodline of Tsaghani? Fires? Maybe even the DressWalkers (or so as the myth of humans had been called)?

Imari kept listening to his step-sister, happy that he had been acknowledged. Imari thought for a moment, mind deep in thought. "I don't recall seeing any besides the ones here." he replied, closing his eyes to remember. But, to no avail. Quite rapidly, he felt a tug on his legs.

Not long afterwards a little squeak could be heard from behind him, greeting him. He turned around to face his little niece, glee visible on his face as well. "Why, hello there Emonah. How is that you've grown so much in such a short amount of time? Its crazy!" He exclaimed with jest, evidently content to be around the little pup.

"You're mom must be really good at taking care of you, huh?" He continued, speaking just loud enough for Emetaly to hear him. Of course, he loved his half-sister. But sometimes she was just so serious! He looked at the little pup with sparkling eyes, placing his head down to her level of vision.

"Do you want to be a Den Mother when you grow up, just like your mom?" he inquired, ears perked with interest. He actually was curious, seeing as she was growing up to be just like Emetaly. She even had the goggles and trinkets, which Imari found cute.

Shaking her head with closed eyes, the 3 foot she-wolf didn't bother turning to face her Alpha. "You don't know half of it..." she half muttered, half growled as it was clearly a sensitive subject. "Let me guess...extremely large, thin wolf with green-ish fur and black stripes like a wildcat? His eyes are white that hold no pupils with the right one with a deep scar of claw marks? Peh...some say he's now living as a Deformity on the border of the forest or killed himself, though I'm not all to sure about that...." Peering into the pit closely, breathing in the fumes it gave off she continued "Child...you are lucky not to have any feathers...yet not as well..." Turning away from the smoldering mixture, Nyx lapped some water from the shallow pool in her den and finally face him, having to look up because of her height. "It is time for Nuru to have his first experience in Nasci's palace, I am going to be leaving shortly for there anyway so I see no reason to not bring him along." It was more of a statement than asking permission, and that wasn't uncommon for the old fleabag.

The alpha nodded, remembering most of what she had described. "I don't remember most of it, but that sounds like what I saw. I just...... It worries me dearly, as much as it does you. Nadie knows. I feel she's beginning to fear for our safety," he said with a rueful admission, "and I feel that when others realize the danger, even if this is only a dream, there will be lives lost." At that, the alpha turned his head down to think. He was the one to worry about it, not this old bat. She was important to being a shaman to the pack, a heart but not a brain. All Brimir wished for everything to happen in favor of the pack. This family worshipped the gods, worshipped each other, and hell, there hadn't been an exile since Tsaghani.

At the mention of Nuru, Brimir's demeanor changed. Nuru, the older man that acted like a teenager at some points. He tended to joke around with other hunters, sometimes a bit too much. He being new to this adulthood, although he was 45 years of age, made the alpha feel quite unimpressed, and assertive of his earlier comments. "Nuru..... Nuru is your apprentice, a bit old though? Did you not start when you were much younger than 45 years of age?" he asked, ignoring her comments on feathers.

Katalista
eesa_by_tatchit-d7ayfb0.png
The sleek shape of Katalista exited her den in light, quick steps towards the puddle of water around which Emetaly, the cubs and Imari. She had awoken much earlier when the sun had yet to rise and had snagged a small snack off the pile before retreating to her den to finish her breakfast and wait for the sun to bring in the new day. Her sleep had been dead and cold like it had been for the past few years ever since that night, and it was rare to ever have a glimpse of a nightmare, or even less, a dream. She was thankful for that. Atleast her mind was silenced and laid to rest in sleep and not plagued by dreams or nightmares like many of her tribemates.

Upon reaching the small body of water, she scrunched her nose slightly at the purplish tint of the water, undoubtfully from some type of berry paint. She could only guess what had happened in the early hours of the morning and it made a light chuckle bubbled up from her throat. Her attention fixed on the company around her and she put on a soft smile, glad to see the familiar faces. "Good morning you all...or afternoon... " she said softly, to Emetaly, Imari and the cubs, "i hope you have all had good sleeps?"

The atmosphere that seemed to hang over the clan said otherwise, but she hoped to bring a little positive vibe back and push out some of the disturbing feelings.

Imari, whilst waiting for a response from the small pup, noticed the sleek beaut- Tikaani walking towards them. He immediately straightened his back, looking away and kept his head lowered. Because he was sitting, his tail tucked itself on the side of his leg and he kept his eyes averted. There were several reasons for this, and they weren't just because of respect.

He felt his back fur rise up out of embarrassment, but he kept his cool. He nodded without looking at the female wolf, eyes full of appreciation. It was nice of her to speak to him... "Hello Katalista. Nice to see you...This..." He stopped, uncertain what time it was as well. The sun had not reached its peak, and he finished with a laugh, "Well, morning I would guess." He glanced up from his feeble posture and smiled. Afterwards, he returned his attention to the pup.

Even while trying to distract himself, he couldn't help but notice the wolf next to him. Inside, he wanted to say something to her. To speak the feelings that he had been feeling for years now, and seeing as they were now both adults... He was almost tempted to. But he refrained, again recognizing his position as Omega. He would never wish for her to have the same fate as him, not at all. Imari, however, could not help but feel affection for the shy wolf. He had heard of what happened at the river, he himself almost going.

Alas, it was the one of the few times his parents had been home and thus they did not allow it. The moment he heard what had happened, he felt strongly compelled to run to the female wolf pup and comfort her.
Do something! Help her! He'd told himself, but he'd been held back by himself. And so, after all these years, he still hasn't said anything to her. His ears flattened to his skull with regret, feeling stupid for not saying anything now or when they were younger. His gaze fixed on the ground, he didn't know what else to say.

Coeur the Hunter
smokehound_by_tatchit-d9ly8ap.png

Ayola remained still, laying in the center of clearing. After a few moments more of silence during which the female seemed to be stifling her sobs, she stood up and made to leave, ignoring Coeur and starting back towards the clearing behind him. She avoided looking at Coeur, only showing him the side of her face to hide her tears, pretending like she hadn't been crying. It was no use however, as the smeared paint on her face told the story.

Coeur's tails and ears drooped as she walked past him, her smeared paint a symbol of the pain his rude comments had caused her. He opened his mouth to say something, but quickly closed it. He deserved this silence. He was about to turn around and disappear back into the woods to drown in self pity when he heard her softly whisper something to him.

"You brought me berries...? Why did you bring me berries?"

Ayola sniffled, holding bakc her tears. The she-wolf raised her paw to wipe a tear that was forming in her golden eyes, but only succeeded in smearing her paint further. She let out a sad sigh and stared up into his eyes, pain in her beautiful golden orbs. She only looked into his eyes for a moment but quickly looked away, but the image remained imprinted in Coeur's mind. Her normally purple, pink and black face that made Coeur smile ever time he gazed upon it was a mess of various paints, oddly beautiful in a sad and pitiful way. The image pierced Coeur to his very soul. crushing it like a shard of glass when she looked away, muttering an apology.

"I'm sorry for splashing paint on you this morning. I just figured it would be a funny thing to wake up to, and... I'm sorry." She said, tears welling in the corners of her eyes.

Her apology cut into him like a knife. Why was she apologizing to him? He was the one who had snapped, insulted her and ran away. He was the one who should be apologizing...

He stepped in front of her, blocking her path as she tried to exit the clearing.

"Stop Ayola please... I'm sorry" He said, pain evident in his voice. He lowered his gaze, water in his eyes, his whole body dropped down. "I was just grumpy because you woke me up... I... didn't mean anything I said". He paused for a moment, stifling his own tears.

He looked back up at her, his red eyes watery. "I was just being stupid. I love your pranks, your the most fun person I know. If growing up means no more pranks I would never want you to grow up...."

He was silent for a moment, casting his eyes down towards the pile of berries.

"I brought the berries because I thought I could make it up to you. I though that maybe we could make paint together... maybe pull a prank or something..."

Ammax would begin to trot slower, glancing at the Tribe.

"I'll stop here, need to check something in my den."

He'd smile, and walk into the territory. There were a few wolves here and there, but nothing major. After a short while of walking, he'd reach their small den.
Their, as in him and his sister. He would look at the moss-covered stone, and slowly climb up the gravel near the entrance. The inside was cool and shady, having a few hides layed out on the floor as beds, and the fire still being on. He'd look around the piles of junk in the den, looking for the necklace. It was nothing great, just a tooth hanging from a piece of string. But it was the only gift his father ever gave him. He had left it there, but it had 'disapeared'. He sighed, and stuck his head out the den, looking aound for his sister. Their den was set on a high hill, slightly above the others. They could see almost the whole tribe land. He'd eventually spot her near the Alpha's den. He'd mutter under his breath something incromprehensable. He promptly padded over to the Alpha's den, saying hello to a few wolves around. After a few minutes of walking, he had finally reached the Alphas den. It was the biggest. He saw his sister near the door, and he walked up to her, nudging her flank.

"Hey, fuzzy. Have you seen my tooth necklace? I left it in the den, but it's not here anymore..." Ammax knew she hated her nickname he had given her: 'Fuzzy', but he loved her reaction whenever he did call her that.

??????????????????????????????????

Xenosa looked at Emetaly before replying,"Good morning, I was just checking on something, excuse me."

She backed away a little from the den, before her ears once again perked up. Xenosa looked at her side to see a that a piece of bark had fallen beside her and her body tensed. Though before she could look up at the branches, a yelp was heard as she felt something lightly hit on the side of her rear. Xenosa flinched before she immediately assumed that one of the pups were trying to play a prank on her. She turned around and growled a little, but stopped as she saw Sol, who was a warrior like her. Xenosa slowly relaxed her shoulders, giving him a questionable look. She watched as he muttered the words and trying to piece the words together,"That's....that's quite an interesting lie you made there Sol."

To be honest, Xenosa didn't really know much about Sol besides his name and rank. Xenosa always viewed Sol to be the type that was shy and a little awkward. Though, he would completely change on the battlefield as his confident would come out of nowhere. Sol was like a mystery to her, but she never took the time to try and get to know him. This would be Xenosa's first time starting a conversation with a another fellow warrior,"Are you in pain?"

Zenosa looked slightly concerned, wondering what Sol was exactly trying to hide. It couldn't be anything serious right?

the sun pierced the surface with ease, casting the rippling light across the river bottom in a beautiful contrast to the murky waters. this is what woke the sleeping tanaaki.

His eyes fluttered free of their sleeping state, giving the amphibious beast a look at the rarely clear waters of his home, able to watch as the many trout and bass swam, almost elegantly through the water they called air. this promted a smile from the tanaaki. a short one.

the water was clear. that meant there wasnt as much movement as usual. that meant his fellow river dwellers werent active. they were sleeping. that means it wasn't morning anylonger.

quickly pushing himself from his partially burried position, he quickly left his underwater den, and headed for the bank. there was a yawn as he escaped the river's clutches, shaking himself of the water that weighed him so heavily. streatching, he gave a glance around. the tribe was active. terrific.

Making his way toward the center, he began to think of his needs today. a hunt should be today. food for the tribe. good. he should mostlikly check the rivers The wood eating rats keep backing up the water flow. he'll need to clear acouple routes. makes water easier to get to, and gives him a good method of travel around the territory. he was fast on land, but nobody could beat him in the water. he flared his tail fin, shaking it free of any remaining water, before heading off.

Eyes slitted as the female fell into a half doze, Meynx let her tail whisper back and forth creating a small breeze as her onyx, silver, and white striped fur caught and soaked in the sunlight, warming her body. Black ears twitched at every little sound from the insects, to the birds, to the low murmur of the voices of her fellow pack members.

Slate gray blue eyes took in the wolves from her vantage point, watching their movements with deceptive disinterest. It was not long after this that the female Tikaani spotted her brother hanging close to the side of the lead hunter, Loraleigh. These days that was where he could be found more often than not...and Meynx was not sure how to think of that. Was it loyalty? Was it friendship? Was it training? Was it something deeper?

And if it was something deeper, what were Ammax’s true intentions?

Sil Fen knew that Meynx would despise a female that whimpered or shied away from danger...and did not know what she would do if her brother’s chosen mate was headstrong as herself. The problem was that the female tikaani did not know Loraleigh well enough to judge what her usual silence signified. Despite everything though Meynx knew she would want Ammax to be happy.(Grudgingly) That did not mean she would not check out his interests...undercover of course.

She was likely jumping to conclusions though...he had only been walking with the bright red female after all.

It was not long after that sighting that her brother made his way up to her side nudging her rump in the process and calling her by that hated nickname. “Come over here and I will show you just how fuzzy I can be, mutt.” The short tikkani threatened, her shoulder muscles contracting raising the white and black crest of fur that was interspersed with the wickedly hooked edges of quills along the back of her neck.

Giving a snort and relaxing the female answered her brother’s question. “I have not seen it...perhaps one of those cunning little pups snatched it from the den...I would not put it past the little rascals.”

They had never really talked much, not in the many years she'd known him. Some times, they'd bump over food or whenever the tribe gathered for a meeting or whatever other activities they both participated in, but their conversations were small and friendly in nature. Somehow, even if they were just sitting near each other, she'd feel this almost... Comfortable warmness around him.

His seeming embarrassment had caused some confusion in her at first as her gaze fixed on the male wolf beside her, but she didn't Say anything, opting to let it slide. Her mind thought back to all the other times he had acted in such away, and that brought her back to their puphood and...the accident. She rarely thought of it mainly because of the years of trying to push the memory out of her mind. She was not the same after that day... And she lost many friends as well, but Imari was still the same. He was never really someone who she always spent time with, but he was always there, a presence constant and solid in her life. For that, she was surprisingly grateful.

He seemed to be upset about something, with his ears flattened against his skull and something dark glimmering in his fuschia eyes, eyes that she found herself lost in whenever he wasn't looking. Her gaze flickered away for a second, before coming back to him with confusion and concern noticeable in her brow.

"Imari? Is something the matter? Is something worrying you?"

Ammax would smirk, watching her shoulders contract, and her 'fuzz' raize in the process.

"C'mon,
Fuzzy. If im a mutt, so are you. Don't forget we are twins." He'd mutter playfully.

“I have not seen it...perhaps one of those cunning little pups snatched it from the den...I would not put it past the little rascals.”

Ammax wold grumble.

"Pherhaps you are right. Do you know where Elementaly is? Her pups are the hardest to deal with. Maybe one of them took it"

He'd chuckle, looking down at his smaller sister. His shocking blue eyes stared directly into hers.

He couldn't help but think... Who might she be interested in? He would pounder that thought nearly every day. His big, fluffy ears twitched at the sound of wolves walking by, and a few birds flapping above their heads. He coulnd't stop but notice, they were so similar, yet so diferent...

She was more snappy than he was, and more agile. But he was stronger, and more brutal. She was shorter, he was taller. She was meaner, he was nicer, and so on. He'd think of how she was similar to father. Frowning slightly, he snapped out of that thought. She is nothing like father. He'd return to his playfull smirk.

Interaction;; Xenosa (@Hiruka )

Action;; Talking, lying (and failing)

Well. Today was not going too well. Despite the fact that he had spent a whole, wonderful, morning following his object of affection. And now that object of affection was looking at him! And talking to him! AND ASKING IF HE WAS OK! None of which was according to his plan, but this was even better than his plan. Now, he had to muster up whatever scraps of courage he had and to to speak in a voice that was less akin to a slith.

Then he began to notice some pain in his side, probably bruises, but it was being quickly washed away by a stronger, warm glow spreading from one of his legs. The leg that had touched XENOSA--
I TOUCHED XENOSA!--so the answer was no. And it was Xenosa who had freed him off that pain!

"
No, no," he began rather loudly, then began his downward spiral to silence as he found himself gazing a bit too hard at her, "I'm perfectly fine thank you." He rolled off of his side, bouncing lightly on his black, sparsely furred feet. The ground felt nice beneath his paws, but nowhere as near as wonderful as her soft fur... but enough of that! She thought he was lying! He must cover this up at all costs.

He laughed nervously, looking away from her, obviously lying. "I told you, right? I was just climbing
some trees for Krongrah you know?" He shifted uncomfortably, stirring up the leaves that littered the ground. Sol's head swung from side to side, finding interesting leaves, rocks, trees he had seen a thousand times. Anything but her. He let out another nervous laugh. I'm a terrible liar...

She nodded in response to her mother's question before bounding off to where the younger pups were playing. Yet she suddenly halted, her blue eyes lighting up when she saw Kamar nearby, doing his usual daily routine of glaring at anyone who made eye contact with him. Though despite how harshly he treated her, Taronja couldn't help but feel close to him in an indescribable way. Padding over, she lowered her small frame to the ground before clumsily stalking his powerful tail, and right as she got close, she gave a joyful cry as she pounced upon it. The young Tikaani's small needle-like claws attempting to pierce his tough skin though his red fur.

Kamar was in the forest surrounding the main clearing, the sound of wolves and pups could clearly be heard although Kamar was too far away to see them. It was a beautiful day, the sun shined brilliantly through the thick forest canopy and illuminated the earth below it. Kamar laid on a rock, enjoying the warmth of us the sun as it shined through a crack in the canopy of leaves. Beside him lay a much smaller white colored wolf, Onya, his love. Her face was nestled in his red side, her flank moving with each soft breath as she slept. Kamar stood still, not daring to move for fear of waking her up. He was content in laying here still as a statue, enjoying the company of the one he loved.

Suddenly the light dimmed, as if a dark cloud had crept infront of the sun. He looked up in surprise to see heavy raindrops suddenly falling from the now open sky. He looked around confused to see that eh was no longer in the forest around his camp. He was in a large open field, the sounds of working wolves and playful pups far away. He looked beside him to see his mate gone, vanished in thin air. He stood up, nervousness and anxiety gripping his heart.

He looked around desperately hoping to see his mate just a few feet away, perhaps playing in the rain. His heart thundered as he leaped down from the rock and began to search from her. Suddenly he heard wailing screams pierce the silence, coming from just beyond the rudge of the hill He was on.
Onya...

He sprinted towards the sound at full speed, his whole body gripped by anxiety, the sides of his vision blurring and turning to black. The ridge seemed so close, yet no matter how fats he ran towards the sound of his mate's cries he could never reach her... not until it was too late.

He finally crested the hill, his heart pounding from the exertion and his ears ringing to see a crumpled white form laying in a small ravine, her pelt and the ground around her soaked red with blood.

He let out a wailing, painful cry, suddenly jolting awake in his dimly lit den. He jumped up onto all fours, breathing heavy and shuddering. He glanced around, searching in vain for his mate. As his heart stopped pounding and the ringing in his ears subsided, he lowered himself back onto the ground. Another nightmare, just like the night before... and every night since the death of her love. They always started out the same, laying next to her on a sun baked rock. But despite how happy they started they always ended tragically and never the same. Sometimes he killed her by accident when they were wrestling, other times a dresswalker carried her off, but most of the time, like now, he simply found her blood soaked and dead.

He grumbled darkly, trying to rid himself of the sadness that followed the nightmare. Eventually, he heaved himself off the cold unpadded ground and headed outside to sit on a warm rock similar to the one in his dream to watch passing wolves with a glare. Over in the distance he saw some of the pack's pups playing amoungst each other, wresting near a stream that passed through the clearing. He wrinkled his nose in disgust. He hated pups.

He turned his attention to the other wolves, doing his best to ignore the pups. There was one particular pup that bothered him, a small female named Taronja...

Suddenly he heard a high pitched cry erupt form behind him, and moments latter a set of small needle-like claws dug into his tail. He let out a yelp and looked over his shoulder, teeth barred to see Taronja attacking his long tail like a piece of meat.

He eyes opened slightly in fright and the same anxiousness that he had experienced in his nightmare crept over him. She... she reminded him of her mother... His fearful look was suddenly raplaced by a hostile growl, anger in his blue-green eyes.

"Can you get your dirty little paws off my tail? Do I have to tell your moth- Emetaly?"

The Omega's mind wandered whilst he remembered the incident, but he was brought out of it abruptly by the dusty brown wolf in front of him. He looked her in the eyes with his ears against his head, lowering his head further."I'm not worrying you, am I? If I am, I apologize. Nothing is wrong, I promise!" He said this with a bit more cheer, but it was almost fake. His ears perked up a bit with the statement, but not enough for it to look authentic. He started up again, voice soft.

"It kind of you to talk to me, Katalista. Honestly, you are one of the kinder Tikaani, and I appreciate that. Thank you," He gratefully said, all the while allowing himself to become less stressed and more comfortable. This time, he looked like he really meant it. His head had risen up a bit and he looked like the he was more at peace in his mind. But there was still a bit of visible conflict upon his russet face, seeing as his eyes danced with an odd memory that allowed itself to surface.

He realized that Katalista reminded him of his mother, even when she was always gone he felt a connection. A warm one, one that he could comfortably be around even if he was not around her. A joy hovered from the place she was in, lighting it up and warming it like a patch of pleasant aroma. He shifted his tail, and moved his head so that he could look into the sky. He couldn't manage to look the female hunter in the eyes, and he felt he was obligated not to.

"Have you heard about the hunt? I think that was happening today, maybe..." He reminded, his voice becoming a whisper at the end of the statement. He finally managed to look at her for a moment with a light hearted mood present in his fuchsia orbs, before putting his attention on a glade of grass dancing in the wind. He was still warmed by the fact that she cared for his well-being, but he again was at a loss for further conversation.

Because of his lack of much needed of interaction with her, he awaited for her to say something to him. And, honestly, he had no clue why. Was he playing hard to get or something? This he did not know. Just like a lot of things, he was clueless.

Her brow seemed to furrow more at his reassurance as she saw something troubling him in the depths of those beautiful eyes of his despite all he was doing to hide him. She couldn't imagine what seemed to worry him so... And as much as she wanted to ask... She didn't want to pry into his privacy. She wished he would tell her though..but why would he? She was no one special, no one he would find peace in confiding in. How she wished she knew what haunted him so that maybe she could stop his pain... Why he made her so worried and so concerned, she didn't know, and she didn't want to think too much of it.

He seemed to visibly calm down after a while, which put her mind at ease, bringing a small smile to her lips as she continued to watch him. His ease made her feel happier and, for whatever reason, she didn't know, but there still seemed to be something there in his voice. As if he was makig himself a being from a completely different world to her. For a second, she worried that he might've been pushing himself down due to his rank and that troubled her slightly though she did not show it.

As he inquired about the hunt, she pondered, trying to remember the last time she had seen him hunt or was in a hunting party with him. Her gaze slid from him to the puddle of water with her brow furrowed in focus. Nothing. When no memory came to mind, she looked back at him, saying, "I think it is today, Imari... But it seems no one has grouped yet..." After a while, she added, "will you be joining us?"

??????????????????????????????????

Xenosa watched as Sol was expressing a sorts of emotions, not sure if he was really okay. He didn't eat some weird mushroom did he? She looked down at his bruises, noting that they were nothing serious, but you never know.

When Sol answered her question and got back on his feet, she notice him stare at her for a long while. Sol's gaze was making her uncomfortable as Xenosa asked,
"Is...there something on my face?"

This was the most Xenosa had felt the most awkward talking to a wolf in ages.

As Sol pressed on the same lie, she tilted her head a little, immediately knowing that he had to be up to something. Xenosa decide to pressure him just a little,
"You know, you're the first wolf I've know that climbs tree to tree. It's almost like Krograh send you to stalk someone."

The last sentence was just something Xenosa had came up with on the spot. She really had no idea what Sol was trying so hard to hide. Xenosa saw how he avoid her gaze and stirred up he leaves on the ground. She couldn't help it as the corners of her mouth slightly curled upwards. Xenosa thought, trying hard to keep her lips flat,'You're really bad at lying...'

Interaction;; Xenosa (@Hiruka )

Action;; Absolutely petrified

No, no, no. This is not going well at all. How am I supposed to act? WHAT DOES SHE WANT?! He glanced back up to her, then away, then back again, and away. He wasn't sure what was better, not looking or looking, which he soon found out. "No! No! There is nothing on your face..." He continued pawing at the ground, as if preparing to bolt at any moment. His pure golden eyes shot from place to place, lingering awkwardly on her face every few seconds. Ruffling his fur, he wondered if she would drop asking him what he was doing.

And
immediately froze.

"You know, you're the first wolf I've know that climbs tree to tree. It's almost like Krograh send you to stalk someone."

May the alpha shave his fur and snap his horns! IM COMPLETELY SCREWED!!!

Stiff as the great rock that stood near his den, well, aside from how much he was shaking of course. It seemed he might be having a flashback to that time when Nasci shook the earth. "W-what? Climbing trees, Krongrah, s-stalking?" Sol's eyes grew wide, and this time his gaze did not leave her face. "
S-stalking? What do you mean..." At that moment, he snapped, believing she had known he was following her the whole time and only brought it up now to torture him. Sol spread his paws forward, placing them flat on the ground, his head pressed between them in a bowing motion.

"
I'm so sorry!!!"

He was almost in tears, sure that he had ruined his chances with her, and began to slowly back away, head still pressed into the ground.

(Kalo)

How early the light shown upon the land this beautiful morning. The birds of the land sang their songs of mating. Nothing to be from the ordinary. Kalo, the stowaway of this pack, found himself walking on his journey to meet the other hunters. As he had been instructed by so many, today was the great hunt. The alpha would be present, as is always, but this hunt was compulsory to attend. Perhaps Brimir may notice mighty Kalo, and take note of his skills.

Speak of the devil. As the male walked his way along, past the shaman's cave, he was encountered by the hasteful alpha himself. "Alpha," Kalo said warmly as he bowed his head in respect. The older male returned kindness, as he bowed his head slightly, and continued to walk on. Now, Kalo felt embarrassed. He perhaps could've said something more meaningful than his simple title. Perhaps "dear leader" or "Fearless commander" or "defender of peace". But alpha? Was that simply so?

The hunt had not gathered yet, how displeasing. All of the members of the pack were either asleep or who knows where. Certainly causing a job to be created, no doubt. As the male walked, quite far from the alpha's den and without much sound to draw from, the peace was soon broken. An array of voices emanated from a small, cramped, wet underbrush. The brush, no doubt, belonged to the Omega of the pack. Rather fitting, not even worth the standard cavern. And the only word Kalo heard was "hunt", between the fellow hunter and the omega. What were there names even? One he was sure began with a K. The other, maybe an L? or an A? But the question remained truly: would they seriously considering to take an Omega on a pack hunt? Perhaps it was a trustworthy experience, but now it was certainly a time to reconsider. Alas, it was not in Kalo's interest to change the mind of the Leader.

Making his way towards the discussion, the alpha could better hear the words spoken. "Omega," he spoke, addressing the orange canine directly, since he knew not of the name, "are you to be hunting with us? I did think that Omegas were rather..... excluded from such events, are they not?"

Xenosa was surprised to see Sol suddenly start shaking. He was muttering so fast that she couldn't manage to piece the words into a sentence. She wondered if she was causing discomfort for Sol. Though, was Sol always like this? Xenosa would have never thought that Sol was this shy and....for some reason, he seemed sorta scared of her. She didn't really remember doing anything to scare or cause trauma to him. Maybe trying to scare the pups away from her made Sol view her as a mean person.

As Sol looked up at her, petrified, Xenosa was confused. Did she hit the mark? Did Krograh really sent Sol to stalk someone?Xenosa felt a little panicked wondering what was the purpose of Sol's mission. Was there danger within the pack that she didn't know of? She flinched at the suddenly shout of a apology. Xenosa snapped back to reality, now seeing Sol bowing at her, slowly backing away. She seemed a little flustered,
"W-Wait why are you bowing to me?"

Xenosa slowly looked around not sure whether any wolves were watching,'This feels wrong. Why would an ally of mine bow down to me?'

She lowered her head a little down to his level as she asked,"Is Krogruh really sending you on a spying mission?"

Her voice was stern and in a whisper, her expression was serious. If there was a threat inside of the pack, Xenosa wanted in on this mission too.

Taronja backed off of his feathery tail with her bushy tail between her legs and ears pinned to her skull. "I-I'm sorry Kamar...I just was looking for someone to play with...the younger pups won't let me join them..." Though she was right back to being happy once more, sitting down on the ground and responding to his threat. "Why would you say that?" Her head cocked to one side, the small Takianni's headdress angling along with it, its tassels swinging lazily. "Emetaly is my mama...but please don't tell her! I don't want to be scolded again..." Her blue eyes were directed down once more, her tail not wagging as it had been moments ago.

"I-I'm sorry Kamar...I just was looking for someone to play with...the younger pups won't let me join them..." The young Taronja replied, tucking her small tail between her legs and flattening her ears as she backed off of his long red tail. Kamar felt a twinge of guilt when he saw her hurt expression. He hadn't wanted to hurt her or anything, he didn't HATE her... not really... He just didn't want her to be around him...

As quickly as her hurt expression had come, it was gone, replaced by her typically joyfulness. She sat on the ground behind him, her tail wagging excitedly.

"Why would you say that?" She asked her head cocked to the left in curiosity, the beaded tassels of her headdress swinging lazily in the soft breeze. "Emetaly is my mama...but please don't tell her! " She pleaded, her demeanor changing suddenly. She looked up at him with her blue eyes, her blue orbs looking straight into his. "I don't want to be scolded again..."

Kamar let out a sad sigh and looked away. Every time he looked into her face it reminded him of her. At the thought of his love the hole in his heart would reopen, the feelings of lost and hopelessness he had experienced the day she had died rushing back. It happened whenever he saw a pup, especially Taronja. No matter how hard he tried to forget, something would always end up reminding him of her.

The problem was, the young pup had always had a certain affinity for him, and it had only grown as she got older. With the other pups refusing to play with her, there would be little to keep her away from him, little chance for him to forget about her. He closed his eyes as the emotions from 9 years ago rekindled, a single tear falling to the ground.

"Why.. why won't they play with you?" He asked, trying to sound gruff and unconcerned.
