In a future alternate reality, humans have been captured, enslaved, or used as experiments by a hybrid race known as the Kage No Utsuwa. In the world's most populated human containing country, there is an area known as the Safety Zone. Here, humans are protected from Utsuwas, and can live normal lives. However, should they dare try to escape the Zone, they will be devoured by the Utsuwa's beasts known as Jinsei Sh?kaku. Will someone brave enough rise against the power of the Utsuwa and rebel, or shall they hide away until they are captured?
(Side note: Humans are sometimes born with powers of the Utsuwa, and this may give them unnatural strength, powers, or unique abilities. Humans have also been secretly rising a new breed of animals that resemble wolves, lions, tigers, and such, known as Jind?tekina Kemono)

Jinsei Sh?kaku Breeding and Roaming Ground
Enslaved humans are sometimes used as caretakers for the Utsuwa's loyal monsters. They may also bond with them to get in good with their masters.
Human Jind?tekina Kemono Breeding Grounds
Humans work on a new breed of animals loyal to only humans.
Safe Zone
The only place where humans can remain in their own lives and have peacefully among themselves.
Shadow Castle
The palace of the royal Utsuwa family, where the current ruler, the Shadow King, rules.
