  A young, bright, ambitious and generous woman who did not deserve what happened to her. Mae-Mae always looks out for everyone's best interest and tends to put herself at the bottom of the list. A very gullible woman at times. Her dad always told her to shoot for the stars, be the best her she could be. Her dad was a famous hollywood producer and she was his favorite person until he left.
  
  Her personality never waivered even when her father left to start a new family, even when her mom quit her job just to drink. Mae was always a positive, sweet, charming woman. After the kidnapping, witnessing all of the assaults, and torture the bright star that she used to be faded. Suddenly she was more quiet, more reserved, and not as outgoing. She started second guessing every move she made. The woman she was before the assault felt like a complete foreigner to her.

  Born to a famous Hollywood producer and his 3rd new pretty german wife she was the apple of everyone's eye. She was spoiled and got everything she could ever dream of, she even grew up with other celebrity children. Despite her privileged upbringing she was a sweet girl who wanted everyone to live their best life. 'Shoot for the stars' her father would always say. Her parents had her in dance class ever since she could remember.
  
  

  From Teen to Queen

  Everything in her life had started out so perfectly, she could have never foretold her father leaving them for another woman. She still had her mom, her home, her school. She even managed to get a boyfriend (Jax) once she got into highschool! He was... different. A senior, not very popular. But he reminded her of her half brother, so he couldn't have been that bad! He was the only break she got from her mom who was drinking more and more every day. Bills started to pile up, final notices started showing up. It was clear her mom wasn't going to pay them (even though her father paid alimony and child support), so Mae got a job bartending. Her boyfriend got her the fake ID, he was looking out for her. Right? That's what she thought at least.
  
  The next few years were a blur. Once she graduated she managed to get a full ride scholarship to several different colleges, but truth be told Jax (who was making some sketchy choices career wise) didn't want her to go. Plus, her mom was sick! She couldn't quite leave. Instead of the college she wanted she attended a local college to become a RN. Mae loved helping people, be it a friend, family, a distant brother, or a complete stranger. She loved the medical field, she loved learning new things, it was perfect. While maintaining her job at the bar, taking care of her mom, and trying to keep Jax out of her trouble she managed to graduate at the top of her class. She even got a job at a local trauma hospital in the ICU! Her life didn't seem perfect to many, but it was pretty perfect to her.
  
  

  The fateful day

  One day she woke up to Jax standing inside her room. He didn't have a key, he really didn't come over much. He told her to get ready. He seemed erratic, angry, she'd seen him like that before but never this bad. So, she got dressed and got in the car. She assumed that he just wanted her to come over for the night. Boy, she was wrong.
  
  In the back of the car she noticed gym bags filled with jewelry, guns, and cash. As far as she knew Jax didn't have a job, she paid for pretty much everything when they were together. When she tried to get back out he immediately locked the car and took off. That started her week long horror story. He thought he could trust her, he thought she would be fine when she discovered an elderly dead man and a dead cop in the trunk. She tried to get him to turn himself in and he smashed her head with a gun. She woke up with her hands cuffed, Jax had a mental break, he said they were going to run away together and get married. Leave that stupid fucking town and start a new life. Now he could provide a life for them, only Mae didn't want that life. That pushed him over the edge, saying how he'd make her live with him one way or another.
  
  Jax killed anyone that even looked at him wrong. Hell, he started getting creative and torturing them. The worst part of it all was that he made Mae watch. Burning people, branding them, drowning them, doing unspeakable assaults to them that she wished she could wipe from her memory. He deprived Mae of food, forced more alcohol than water down her throat. Said it would all end when she agreed to run away with him. The last day he drank too much and passed out. That left the handcuffed Mae enough time to open the door, run to lobby and get the cops called. They apprehended Jax, detained him, and Mae had to spend the next week in the hospital to rehydrate and heal. The worst part of it all? If Jax didn't take a plea she would have to face him again in the courtroom.

  Being recruited to Quantico to join the FBI based on her police academy test scores at the age of 18 was all she ever wanted. Her father was a retired Marine, he was currently the Chief of Police. His father, his father's father, and so on and so forth all were military and policemen. Hazel was her father's first and only child, her mother died when she was an infant, so she grew up in the police squadrooms. Starting from a young age she was a fairly serious person, she didn't joke around much and she didn't deal with nonsense. A woman in the policeworld? You had to be tough. She was always the fastest, strongest, and smartest in her private school. She always strived to be the best, her ambition was her passion.
  
  Now? Now all she did was exercise. She was sent to Havenwick to work out her problems but she couldn't work on them if she couldn't admit what happened. Hence why she's been there for two years. She does the mandatory therapy, she doesn't see anything wrong in what she's doing, and the therapists weren't clearing her to go back to work. So she exercised, counted and cut calories, and planned her return to work. Oh, she's also very competitive and hates losing.

  Hazel's parents were a doe-eyed freshly married highschool sweethearts when Hazel was born. However, shortly after her birth her father returned to his tour with the marines and her mother developed complications. She didn't notice until it was too late, she went septic and passed away. He came home to take care of her and joined the police academy so he could stay home with Hazel, ever since that it was just the two of them. She'd spend most of her days either at school, sports, or up at the station.

  School, sports, study, repeat. That was what her life was up until the police academy exam. Her score was so high that the FBI recruited her to Quantico. It was there she was found to be exceptional at deception, they threw her into undercover work as soon as she graduated from the FBI Academy. Her father was SO proud. All of her UC jobs were only a few months long up until the last one that ended up being three years. Hazel loved uncovering secrets, she loved the incriminating shit she could get people to admit to. It was a challenge every time, and it was a challenge she always won.
  
  This last job really consumed her. She just kept uncovering more that led to a global crime syndicate, her bosses goaded her on to find as much as she could. Hell, she even got rookie of the year back at Quantico! A stupid little award, but she was stupid proud of it. Even now after everything that's happened all she can think about is getting back to work and making everyone proud.
  
  

  The fateful day

  Three years into her most important bust yet she was so close to closing the case. She had all the evidence she needed, she knew all of Demitri's associates, secrets, and plans for future crimes. He had disclosed in great detail all of the heinous crimes he had committed. She had the guy. Yet somehow he found out about her job, after three years of this UC relationship she had formed with him as Scarlett. He smashed his phone, locked her away in his home for the next three days. The only reason the cops raided the joint was because Scarlett missed a check in with her CO back in Quantico. She was left beaten, bloody, broken and tied to a bed to die. By the time they found her she was nearly dead from the blood loss, Demitri hadn't cut her deep enough so she didn't die instantly like he planned. She told them everything... save for the assault.
  
  Dimitri was on his way to the way to Mexico when they apprehended him. He's currently awaiting trial, and Hazel still hasn't disclosed the assault to anyone but the shrink.
