Emma is a hard-working college student, but more dedicated to her passions rather than her studies. As an athletic girl with an enthusiasm for thrill and competition, she tends to be overconfident, although not without reason. Whether it's a lighthearted dare or a physical challenge, she'll take it on with courage in herself. However, there are a few things that bring a chill to her spine.

After being bitten by a snake at a young age, she's had a deathly fear of the slithery creatures as a whole. On top of that, the deep, dark ocean and any sea animals dwelling there terrify her, despite the fact that she's never had any interaction with it.

As for her personality, she's not opposed to interacting with friends, but generally lives a solitary life. When she is with others, Emma usually tries to stay on everyone's good side, but occasionally lets out some sarcastic insults and boasts, yet it's all in friendly nature. Her best attribute is staying calm, as she shrugs off any rude remarks thrown at her and never makes a scene.


Backstory: Emma grew up with a mostly standard lifestyle, albeit there were a few tough times. At the age of twelve, her parents divorced, but she didn't let it affect her severely. As the youngest in the family, she began living solely with her mother, as her two brothers had already moved out. She continued pushing on through the monotonous life of school, spending her spare time through sports and relaxation at home. She also has a love for snowboarding, but never got the opportunity to practice it very much. Eventually, after graduating high school, she followed the footsteps of her siblings, entering a lonely, yet peaceful life of attending university.

Personality

She’s best described as “flighty.” Ditzy and sweet to a fault, Peach is often times compared to a southern belle one usually finds in romantic fiction. Rarely does she have a bad word to say about anyone or anything, and if she does, she always feels guilty about it. Her tendency to “go with the flow” has put her in many awful situations, but she always manages to come out unscathed. Because of her own good fortune, she’s not very emphatic, unable to understand other people’s troubles. At times, she may even seem downright insensitive.


Peach is also used to having a certain amount attention on her, because of her sweet demeanor and soft appearance. Because of this, she can be somewhat conceited. She won’t hesitate the pay the compliment forward, however. She’ll always try to her best to raise the spirits of her companions, but because of her lack of tact or empathy, she’s known to make situations worse. She has her own way of speaking and it can seem cryptic to others. Sometimes, you’ll have to prod her into explaining her thoughts, because she just won’t go into detail on her own.


Fears

Peach seems to have a wariness around older men, though even she herself has no conscious understanding of just why. In large, wide open spaces, she gets incredibly nervous, especially if the sky is completely clear. It doesn’t show on her face, though her smile will look a little strained. Rather, you can see it in her fingers, which fidget with the hem of her cardigan or tighten in her skirt.-


Backstory

Peach has always been interested in the occult. Raised by her godmother, who was a self proclaimed fortune teller, she has been surrounded by superstition her entire life. She still believes heavily in witchcraft and makes the occasional reference to eldritch horrors. People who know her pass this off as her slight eccentricity.​

Backstory: Isaac grew up with parents who indulged his love of reading whenever possible. He managed to combine that with his organizational and paperwork skills to become a valued employee of the Library of Congress. He enters information into databases, scans old files, and generally helps keep the bureaucracy running.

Personality: Isaac has an incredibly sharp mind, a goofy sense of humor, and has kept love of books. Reading is his life outside of work, and his imagination is overflowing with what he's read and put together in his head. Isaac views interactions as pressing the right buttons for the desired reactions. He loves recommending books to people and can't stand disorder. The surest ways to get him upset are to interrupt him, be unreasonable, or disrespect intellectualism. His favorite things to read are fantasy, horror, humor, sci-fi, political theory, philosophy, science, and history.

Fears: Ignorance, lots of stuff he's read about (monsters, situations, etc.), claustrophobia, drowning.
