In myths and legends among many of the kingdoms, harpies are often described as horrible, savage beasts born of wind and hail. Creatures to be feared by all. Tales often preach the tempest that follows the she-demon that they call their ruler, maelstroms that sink the greatest of ships that dare encroach upon their territory. The harpies reside upon the aptly named "The crest", a great island mountain range, connected in a crescent-moon chain. This mystic mountain chain residing just off the great coast. Magnificent beasts prowl along the frigid and rough terrain, monsters of all sorts. However; this doesn't stop hunters from navigating through the seas, in search of the glory obtained by slaying the queen of those mountains. A powerful harpy whose survived a millenia upon those icy caps (according to the stories, the particular mountain she lives on is further inland).
